Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 53: Chu Sistersʼs Longing

”Whatʼs wrong, Grandma?” Zhang Fei asked as his grandmother and mother walked into his room.

Zhang Chen motioned for Qing Yi to sit beside him on the bed and then spoke to him. ”Feiʼer, I want you to take your mother there with us tonight.”

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei raised his eyebrows upon hearing that, but he actually still didnʼt want to bring Qing Yi to the Sky Jade Realm.

Qing Yi could only sigh in her heart seeing his reaction, but she had no intention of saying anything to him, and she wanted to try to get his forgiveness first.

”Yiʼer has already decided to divorce your father, so she will be living with us from now on.” Hearing that, Zhang Fei turned to Qing Yi in surprise; he didnʼt expect that his mother had decided to divorce his father. Zhang Chen then continued. ”Even though you havenʼt been able to forgive her, but you two have a special relationship now.

So, in my opinion, you should also take her there so that she can assist you later.”

Since Zhang Fei continued to hesitate, Mei immediately advised him. [Master, your grandmotherʼs words are true. If your mother becomes a cultivator, then she can help you improve your cultivation. Moreover, if you do it with her in your incubus form, the female essence you get from her is too little, so it would be best if you dual cultivate with her.]

Zhang Fei sighed deeply and nodded in agreement. ”Alright, she can come with us tonight.”

”Good.” Zhang Chen nodded in satisfaction at her grandsonʼs decision, then she left them.

After that, Zhang Fei asked his mother. ”Why did you suddenly decide to divorce him?”

Qing Yi lay down on the bed and laid her head on her sonʼs lap. ”Iʼm sick of his attitude and harsh treatment of me. Moreover, you are still my son, and I donʼt like his actions of wanting to put you in jail.”

Zhang Fei inwardly sighed. He then laid down next to his mother and silently hugged her. Qing Yi also didnʼt say anything else, and she hugged him back.

Meanwhile, Chu Qing, who was cultivating with Chu Ying and Zhang Lin, suddenly grumbled. ”Itʼs been more than a day, but Fei still hasnʼt come here.”

Since it was afternoon on Earth, it was another day in the Sky Jade Realm, and Chu Qing couldnʼt wait to meet the original Zhang Fei.

Hearing her little sisterʼs words, Chu Ying opened her eyes, and her gaze was filled with longing. Ever since the events of that night, she had been constantly thinking about Zhang Fei, and she found it difficult to focus on cultivating. ”I also miss Fei, but we canʼt do anything for now, and we can only wait for him to come to visit us again.”

”I know that, but I really miss him.” Chu Qing dejectedly replied.

Hearing their conversation, Zhang Lin also opened her eyes and stopped cultivating. ”Why are you so impatient to meet Big Brother, Qing?”

”I donʼt know, I just miss him.” Chu Qingʼs answer made Chu Ying and Zhang Lin shake their heads; they felt that she was too innocent, and she didnʼt even know her own feelings yet.

Zhang Lin then spoke again. ”If you miss Big Brother that much, you better meet his body double.”

”Humph! I donʼt want to meet his body double; I only want to meet the real him.” Chu Qing replied with a snort. ”Moreover, heʼs been spending time with that two women since last night, and now heʼs disappeared without telling us anything.”

ʼSheʼs jealous of those two women!ʼ Chu Ying and Zhang Lin muttered in their hearts.

*Tap... Tap...*

”Are you thinking about Zhang Fei, Qingʼer?” Liu Hua asked as she walked over to them.

Chu Qing nodded and asked back. ”Donʼt you miss him, Aunt Hua?”

”How could I not miss my husband? Just like you, I also miss him a lot, but I can only wait for him to come here again.” Liu Hua said as she sat in front of them.

”Do you think he has many other women in his realm?” Chu Qing asked with a tinge of jealousy.

Zhang Lin laughed at that. ”Hey, Qing. As far as I know, Big Brother only has one woman on Earth, so you donʼt need to be so jealous.”

Liu Hua gently patted Chu Qingʼs head. ”Isnʼt it natural for a cultivator to have multiple women? Even your grandfather had ten wives, remember?”

Unlike Chu Qing, Chu Ying actually felt awkward talking about Zhang Fei with her aunt, and that made the status between them complicated.

Liu Hua then said again. ”Anyway, your dad just got back; heʼs currently talking to your mom, and they want you two to see them right now.”

”Huh? Dadʼs back?” Chu Qing was surprised to hear that, and then she stood up as she pulled her big sisterʼs hand. ”Letʼs go see Dad, Big Sis.”

They then hurriedly flew towards where their parents were, Liu Hua and Zhang Lin could only shake their heads, then they closed their eyes to cultivate.

Chu Clan - Second Hall

A muscular man with long black hair sat in the head chair. He seemed to enjoy the wine from his wooden gourd as he listened to his wife tell him about the events that happened while he was away.

The man was Chu Hong, the husband of Liu Qingyu and the father of Chu Qing and Chu Ying.

*BAMM*

Chu Hong slammed the table hard after his wife told him about Pang Hong. ”That bastard! How dare he attack you guys while Iʼm away.”

”You donʼt need to be angry.” Liu Qingyu said as she held his hand. ”Although I almost got caught by Pang Hong, but I managed to return home safely, and Huaʼer is also not under his control anymore.”

”But where did that guy come from? Even with his low cultivation, he managed to save you from Pang Hong.” Chu Hong asked suspiciously, as there was no way, with such a low cultivation, Zhang Fei could save his wife.

Liu Qingyu smiled and explained again. ”At first, he suddenly appeared in the bathing pool in the form of a little fox, but he already explained to us that he came from another realm, and we also witnessed it when he returned to his realm using a portal. Anyway, his little sister is cultivating in the back garden with our two daughters, and she is also quite a genius.”

”He came from another realm? And he also left behind his little sister in our clan?” Chu Hong was surprised to hear that.

Like his wife, Chu Hong had also read about the existence of other realms in the universe. However, he had never left the Sky Jade Realm, because he did not know how to go to another realm, and there were no records mentioning how to go to another realm.

”He told me that there are no cultivators in his realm, so he came here to cultivate.” Liu Qingyu explained with a nod, but then her expression became serious. ”Anyway, our daughters fell in love with him, so I wanted to discuss with you about their future.”

Chu Hong looked at his wife in surprise. He knew very well the nature of his daughters, and they would not fall in love with a man so easily, but now she said that they fell in love with the same man.

But alas, Chu Hong did not know that they were affected by Zhang Feiʼs demon charm, especially Chu Ying, who had been treated like that by him. Moreover, not only his two daughters but even his wife were constantly thinking about Zhang Fei.

”Are you sure about that?” Chu Hong inquired, surprised.

Liu Qingyu nodded to him. ”Thatʼs right, they-.”

”Dad!” Chu Qing shouted for her father and ran inside, then she jumped into his arms. ”Hehe, youʼre finally home, Dad! I missed you so much!”

”Dad.” Chu Ying also greeted him, as she walked into the room.

Chu Hong looked at his daughters with a smile, then he rubbed Chu Qingʼs head, and asked teasingly. ”You miss me or Zhang Fei, Qingʼer?”

They were stunned to hear their fatherʼs words, so they turned to Liu Qingyu, who nodded, and Chu Qing laughed. ”Hehe, I missed you as well as Zhang Fei, itʼs been more than a day, but he still hasnʼt come yet.”

Chu Hong could hear the longing in her voice. Then he looked at Chu Ying, who was already sitting beside Liu Qingyu, and he could also see the longing in her eyes. Then he asked them seriously. ”Do you two really like him?”

”I like him, Dad.” Chu Qing replied with a nod. ”I donʼt know why, but I felt so close to him before I even saw his human form.”

”I like him too, Dad.” Chu Ying also replied. Ever since she realized what happened that night, she had already decided that Zhang Fei was the man to be her husband.

”Sigh, it looks like Iʼll have to talk to Zhang Fei later.ʼ Chu Hong muttered inwardly with a sigh, then said to them. ”If he has already come, then you two should bring him to see me right away, okay?”

”Yes.” The Chu sisters answered in unison.
