Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 64: Sect And Region

Zhang Fei and Chu Ying walked hand in hand while following Chu Qing and Zhang Ling, who were busy buying various kinds of snacks and goods. He himself had already changed to his true form, as he didnʼt want to make a fuss by walking around the city in his half-fox form.

Seeing Chu Ying remain silent while lowering her head, Zhang Fei embraced her and asked. ”What are you thinking, Yingʼer?”

Chu Ying shyly leaned her head against his shoulder, and she whispered with a blush on her face. ʼI want you to sleep in my room tonight, Fei.ʼ

”Alright then, Iʼll sleep in your room tonight.” Zhang Fei replied without hesitation; in fact, he was impatient to take Chu Ying as his partner. ”Anyway, Ying, could you tell me about the Sky Jade Realm? I want to know about the territories, sects, and ruling families of this realm.”

Chu Ying nodded, and then she began to explain to him. Basically, the Sky Jade Realm is divided into five regions: the Northern Barren Region, where the Demon Cave is located; the Eastern Desert Region; the Western Forest Region; the Southern River Region; and finally, the Central Region.

The western region itself is inhabited by three major clans: the Chu Clan, the Zhao Clan, and the Ye Clan. Apart from the three major clans, there were several minor clans, such as the Li Clan.

Similarly, the Eastern Desert and Southern River Region, both of which have three major clans. The strongest clan in the Southern River Region was the Liu Clan, while the strongest clan in the Eastern Desert Region was the Guo Clan.

As for the Northern Barren Region, it was a completely barren place with no inhabitants. At first, the place was no different from any other region, but suddenly the Demon Cave appeared out of nowhere, and the demons that emerged from the cave destroyed the place.

According to rumors circulating outside, the Pang Clan resides in the Northern Barren Region, but no one has been able to find their clanʼs location.

As for the Central Region, there are also several major clans there. They are the Chang Clan, the Zhang Clan, the Feng Clan, the Lan Clan, and the Di Clan. But the strongest among them was the Chang Clan, and the Chang Clan was also the strongest clan in the entire Sky Jade Realm.

And in the Sky Jade Realm, there were only six sects in total.

>Central Region

1. Blazing Phoenix Sect

>Eastern Desert Region

2. Desolate Sect

>Southern River Region

3. Hidden Sea Palace

4. Yin-Yang Pavilion

>Western Forest Region

5. Heavenly Sword Sect

> Northern Barren Region

6. Northern Demon Gate (Pang Clan)

Zhang Fei nodded in understanding after Chu Ying finished explaining everything, but he didnʼt expect that the Liu and Chu clans were two of the major clans in the Sky Jade Realm.

However, there was one sect that piqued his interest, the Yin-Yang Pavilion, because it was a dual cultivation sect.

[Are you interested in joining the Yin-Yang Pavilion, Master?] Mei asked in a teasing tone. [If you join the sect, then you can get a lot of dual cultivation partners, and that way your cultivation can definitely increase faster.]

Zhang Fei inwardly sighed. ʼBut you forgot that I have to return to earth often, so I canʼt join any sect for now, Mei.ʼ

Hearing that, Mei giggled. [Hehe, did you forget about your body double, Master? Since your original body has to go back and forth between the two realms, so you can use your body double to join the Yin-Yang Pavilion.]

Zhang Fei was stunned for a moment and then laughed wryly. ʼHa ha! I didnʼt forget about it, but I didnʼt think that far ahead because Tang Rou and Cheng Yu were next to my body double.ʼ

[Those two womenʼs cultivations are quite high right now, but they wonʼt be able to help you forever, so I think you should join the Yin-Yang Pavilion as soon as possible, Master.]

ʼThen what about Tang Rou and Cheng Yu if I join the sect? Thereʼs no way I could bring them to the sect, right?ʼ

[Hmm? The only way is for you to increase your female essence; that way, you can upgrade your demon body double to the second level, and you can make a second body double.]

Zhang Fei nodded in understanding, and he felt that there was no other way, but for that he need other women.

”Are you interested in joining the Yin-Yang Pavilion?” Chu Ying suddenly asked, as Zhang Fei seemed lost in thought; moreover, she also knew that he was a dual cultivator.

”En, I am indeed interested in joining the Yin-Yang Pavilion.” Zhang Fei answered bluntly.

Chu Ying was not surprised by his answer. ”In that case, you can use your body double to join the Yin-Yang Pavilion.”

”Yes, Iʼm thinking of doing that too.” Zhang Fei replied with a grateful smile; he felt grateful that Chu Ying and the others did not reject him as a dual cultivator and instead supported him.

ʼActually, how big is this Sky Jade Realm, Mei?ʼ Zhang Fei asked curiously. According to Chu Yingʼs story, there are only three cities in the Western Forest Region, but the cities are indeed very large.

Mei immediately answered based on the results of her previous scan. [In reality, Master, the size of this Sky Jare Realm is the same as that of Earth. If the earth is dominated by water, then this realm is dominated by land. However, this realm is teeming with beasts, whether on land, in the sky, or at sea.

So they make it difficult for people to travel to other regions, and it takes a very long time to go to other regions.]

ʼThis realm is still really big!ʼ Zhang Fei inwardly expressed surprise, and he continued to chat with Mei, as he followed the three women, who seemed happy to stroll around the city, especially Zhang Lin. ʼThen what about this Western Forest Region itself, Mei?ʼ

[Just as Chu Ying said earlier, there are only three cities in this region. Two cities outside the forest and a city located deep within the forest, Master.]

Zhang Fei was quite interested in the city in the forest. He felt that it should be more interesting than the two cities outside the forest, and he really wanted to go to the there.

Mei then spoke again. [Anyway, if you want to hunt beasts, then this region is the right place, Master. Because three-quarters of this region is covered with forest and the types of beasts in this region are more varied than those in other regions.]

ʼEn, I got it.ʼ Zhang Fei nodded in agreement; he did need to hunt beasts again, especially the white-tailed deer, since it was the main meat that Zhong Yan needed for her restaurant.

Seeing Zhang Fei who seemed engrossed in his own thoughts, Chu Ying then hugged his arms and asked him. ”Isnʼt there anything that interests you?”

”Nothing interesting to me.” Zhang Fei replied with a shake of his head.
