Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 60: Zhang Feiʼs Plan

Ru Xue smiled as she watched her daughter sit on Zhang Feiʼs shoulder, especially since they were getting along well as usual. ʼSigh, Lingʼer has always been obedient to Feiʼer, and he has always been able to persuade her easily.ʼ

Upon arriving in front of them, Xu Lingʼer immediately got off Zhang Feiʼs shoulder and whispered to her mother. ʼMom! Even if you marry Big Brother later, I still want to marry him when I grow up.ʼ

Ru Xue couldnʼt help but sigh at that; she herself already knew that her daughter really liked him, she once told her that she wanted to marry him. She looked at Zhang Fei, who shrugged helplessly, and then she answered her daughter. ʼAlright, since Feiʼerʼs relationship is already messed up, adding the two of us wonʼt make it any messier.ʼ

ʼThatʼs true!ʼ Xu Lingʼer nodded repeatedly as she winked at Zhang Fei.

Zhang Fei then looked at them one by one, but he didnʼt find Liu Qingyu among them, and he was sure that she was accompanying her husband. After that, he took out the things he bought on Earth, such as mattresses, pillows, and bolsters.

”Hmm? Did you bring those items from your realm, Feiʼer?” Liu Hua asked as she touched them one by one; she was really surprised by them. ”Whatʼs the use of these things?”

”Thatʼs a mattress for us to sleep on, Big Sis Hua.” Zhang Lin answered as she jumped onto the pile of mattresses and laid down. ”Come here, Qing. You will definitely like it.”

”Hmm?” Not only Chu Qing, but even Chu Ying jumped on it and lay down beside Zhang Lin.

”Wow! This thing is really comfortable to sleep on.”

”En, I agree with you, Qingʼer.”

The Chu Sisters were completely blown away, and they never felt so comfortable while lying down; that was because the beds in their realm were made of thick wood and bamboo, so it was very hard compared to mattresses.

Zhang Fei laughed, seeing them like that, and he then said to them. ”Yingʼer, Qingʼer, each of you can bring one to your respective rooms; I purposely bought them for all of you to use.”

”Really, Fei?” Zhang Fei nodded to them, and they immediately jumped down from the mattresses, then each of them carried one to their room, and they also brought pillows and bolsters.

Liu Hua shook her head helplessly, looking at her two nieces; she then asked. ”Why did you bring these things here? Do you want to sell them in this realm?”

”You sure are sharp, huh?” Zhang Fei chuckled and explained it to her. ”Since I need a lot of jewels, so I intend to open a shop in this realm. Moreover, there are no such things in this realm, so Iʼm sure we can earn a lot of jewels if we sell these items.”

”I see.” Liu Hua nodded in understanding, and she thought for a while. ”If you want to open a shop, then I can help you prepare the place. However, we canʼt rush to sell these items since they are really unusual for people in this realm, and we have to discuss with Big Sis first.”

”Apart from a shop, I also want to open a restaurant.”

”Oh? Why do you want to open a restaurant?”

Zhang Fei smiled as he took a sandwich he had purchased earlier on earth and handed it to Liu Hua. ”You try this sandwich first, and then youʼll know why I wanted to open a restaurant.”

Liu Hua immediately received the sandwich and unwrapped it; then he ate it. Before long, her expression showed astonishment, and she ate it quickly. ”I see, when compared to the food in this realm, the food from your world has more flavor.”

”Yes!” Zhang Fei nodded to her and explained. ”Although dishes in this realm are rich in qi, they are too bland; that is because you guys cooked them without using spices like us.”

”But how can we cook dishes from your realm?” Liu Hua asked in confusion, mainly because she had never been to Earth before and didnʼt understand how to make earth dishes.

Zhang Fei then looked at his mother and grandmother. ”Their homemade dishes are very delicious, so I think they can teach cooks in this realm, and I will bring all the spices from my realm.”

”Well, in that case, Yiʼer and I will teach them how to cook earthy dishes later.” Zhang Chen stated with a nod of approval, and Qing Yi also agreed with her mother-in-lawʼs words.

”So do you have several cooks who can work for us later, Huaʼer?”

”I donʼt know people in that field, but Iʼm sure that Big Sis knows a lot of cooks, so weʼll ask her later.”

Zhang Fei nodded in agreement, they then carried the mattresses, pillows, and bolsters to their respective rooms, and they waited for Liu Qingyu to meet them.

Meanwhile, Chu Hong was chatting with Liu Qingyu in their room, but his expression suddenly changed after he received a voice transmission from someone.

”What happened, husband? Why did your expression suddenly become bad?”

Chu Hong sighed. ”I just received news from Mother, the seal in the Northern Demon Cave is starting to fade, so they need a lot of help strengthening the seal, and maybe Iʼll be gone for quite a while this time.”

”Sigh, it has been a long time since those demons from other realm ran rampant in this realm.” Liu Qingyu sighed heavily. ”For the sake of making that seal, our realm even had to lose so many powerful cultivators, so we cannot let the seal disappear, or else the demons will mess up our realm again.”

”Yes, but you donʼt need to come with me, and you have to stay here to protect our daughters.” Chu Hong then turned towards the window and looked at Zhang Fei, who was walking hand in hand with Liu Hua. ”Iʼve never met someone whose cultivation speed is as fast as that brat; his cultivation speed is simply terrifying; he even broke through two minor stages in less than a day.”

”En, his cultivation speed is indeed terrifying.” Liu Qingyu tried to answer her husband calmly, as she kept looking at Zhang Fei.

”I hope I didnʼt make the wrong decision to hand over our daughters to him.” Chu Hong exhaled a sigh.

”Donʼt worry, Iʼm sure we didnʼt make the wrong decision.” Liu Qingyu then turned to face him with a bitter smile on his face. ”Iʼm still wondering if he meets Xingʼer later, I canʼt imagine if she also falls in love with him. That means our three daughters will become the wives of one man.”

Chu Hong froze when he heard that; he had forgotten about his second daughter, who was currently staying in her sect. He then sighed and stated. ”If Xingʼer also falls in love with him, maybe itʼs the will of fate. Anyway, you can arrange Yingʼerʼs marriage to that brat yourself, because I have to go to the Demon Cave right now.”

”En, please be careful, husband.” Liu Qingyu replied with a nod.

After that, Chu Hong immediately left the Chu Clan residence, and Liu Qingyu herself went to meet Zhang Fei and Liu Hua.
