Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 63: Zhu Yan Agreed

After Zhu Yan finished cooking, she quickly went to her guests, and she then sat beside Zhang Fei and rubbed his fox ears. Ever since she saw him earlier, she had been itching to touch his ears. ”Haha! Your fur is really fluffy, and youʼre really handsome!”

ʼTch! Women! They always love fluffy things!ʼ Zhang Fei grumbled in annoyance, he wanted to pull her hands away from his ears, but her cultivation was much higher than his.

Liu Qingyu was trying hard to hold back her laughter; she herself knew that apart from cooking, Zhu Yan also liked furry animals, and Zhang Feiʼs fur was indeed so fluffy.

”Let go of your hands; my ears are too sensitive! If you keep rubbing them like that, then I wonʼt be able to control myself anymore, and Iʼll just pounce on you here right now.” Zhang Fei said so indignantly.

Hearing that, Zhu Yan immediately withdrew her hand and moved to sit in front of them. Although her cultivation was far above his, she was afraid that Zhang Fei would keep his word, and she didnʼt want to be molested by him. ”Erm! What brings you here, Aunt Qingyu? And who is this man?”

”You donʼt even know him yet, but you have the nerve to do that to him.” Liu Qingyu replied with a shake of her head. ”Anyway, his name is Zhang Fei.”

Zhu Yan gave a soft laugh. ”Hehe. I canʼt help myself because heʼs too fluffy.”

Zhang Feiʼs lips twitched upon hearing her answer, but he still couldnʼt understand why women always acted like her when they saw his half-fox form, let alone his fox form.

”But I didnʼt expect you to know a demi-human like him, Aunt Qingyu. From the stories Iʼve heard before, demi-humans are very evil and vicious beings, but he doesnʼt look like one.” Zhu Yan spoke while observing Zhang Fei.

”His situation is different from that of those demi-humans, but I canʼt explain it to you.” Liu Qingyu then nodded to Zhang Fei, and he immediately took out a sandwich and handed it to Zhu Yan. ”Back to the topic, Feiʼer wants to open a restaurant, so he needs a reliable chef, and my choice is you. But before that, you can taste the sandwich first, and you will definitely understand yourself.”

Zhu Yan nodded and quickly ate the sandwich; just like Liu Hua and Liu Qingyu before, her eyes glistened after she ate a few, and she quickly devoured it. ”Do you still have it, Zhang Fei?”

”I have two more.” Zhang Fei answered as he took two more and gave them to her.

Zhu Yan finished the two sandwiches without hesitation, causing Zhang Fei and Liu Qingyu to shake their heads helplessly. But suddenly she asked them. ”Where did you get your sandwich? Itʼs absolutely delicious, and Iʼve never eaten anything so delicious before.”

ʼYou can tell her the truth, Feiʼer. She is a very trustworthy person, and she would not say anything to others about you.ʼ Liu Qingyu sent Zhang Fei a voice transmission after seeing him look doubtful towards Zhu Yan; she had known her since she was a child, and she was also familiar with her family, so she knew that she was very trustworthy.

Zhang Fei agreed, then asked Mei to open the gate to the earth and said to Zhu Yan. ”Just so you know, I am not a person from the Sky Jade Realm, and that gate leads to my original realm.”

”Wow!” Zhu Yan then approached the gate and reached her hand into it, and she could feel a different sensation on her hand. ”Can I try to go to your realm?”

”Huh?” Zhang Fei was taken aback by her request.

But before he could say anything, Liu Qingyu was already standing beside Zhu Yan. ”Iʼm also curious about your realm, Fei. How about we go there now?”

Zhang Fei gave a resigned sigh; he then got up and walked over to them. ”Alright, we can go to my realm for a bit, but it should be late there.”

”No problem!” Liu Qingyu and Zhu Yan immediately entered the gate, and Zhang Fei followed behind them.

Earth - Zhang Feiʼs Room

”Ugh! Why is the air in your realm so foul?” Zhu Yan immediately complained as soon as she arrived at Zhang Feiʼs room, and she immediately covered her nose with Qi.

Liu Qingyu was the same as her; she also felt really uncomfortable with the air on Earth, and it made her feel suffocated.

”I canʼt help it!” Zhang Fei answered with a shrug. ”Anyway, there is neither qi nor cultivators on earth, and the air here is indeed full of pollution.”

”How do people feel comfortable living in a place like this?” Zhu Yan was still complaining as she looked around Zhang Feiʼs room, and he just shrugged his shoulders.

Liu Qingyu only shook her head at her complaint; she then looked out the window. ”Feiʼer, your realm is really weird; there are a lot of strange things in this place, and the shape of the buildings is also different from our realm.”

”Well, in the past, Earth was actually no different from your realm.

However, as time has passed, Earth has transformed into a more modern world, and we have a lot of technology to help our lives, but the air is getting worse every day in return.” After he had spent a long time in the Sky Jade Realm, Zhang Fei himself became uncomfortable with the air of the earth, but it was a pity that he still could not leave the earth, especially since he needed a lot of money to buy various items in his Modern Shop.

”We should return to the Sky Jade Realm now; I am truly uncomfortable in this realm. If I continue to stay here, I may die of suffocation.” After saying that, Zhu Yan immediately entered the portal.

Liu Qingyu and Zhang Fei looked at each other for a moment and shook their heads, then they returned to the Sky Jade Realm again.

Zhu Yanʼs house

”Phew! I feel relieved to be back here!” Zhu Yan heaved a sigh of relief and immediately sat down on the chair. After Zhang Fei and Liu Qingyu came out of the portal, she immediately asked. ”So you want to open a restaurant to sell dishes from your realm, right?”

”Yes, thatʼs my plan.” Zhang Fei nodded to her. ”If you are willing to become the chef, you can come to the Chu Clan; my mom and grandma will teach you how to cook dishes from my realm, and weʼre going to combine the spiritual beast meat with the spices from my realm; Iʼm sure that they will definitely sell well in the future. If you have mastered them, then we will open a restaurant soon.”

”Okay! I agree to be the chef in your restaurant.” Zhu Yan was a person who truly had a passion for cooking, so she didnʼt hesitate to accept Zhang Feiʼs offer. That way, she could learn dishes from Earth. Moreover, she had already tasted how delicious the sandwich was, and that made her even more excited.

After they talked for some time, Zhang Fei and Liu Qingyu immediately returned to the Chu Clan. When they arrived, the Chu Sisters and Zhang Lin approached them, and Chu Ying said to him. ”Fei, I want you to accompany us for a walk in the city.”

”Alright.” Zhang Fei nodded in agreement, and they immediately went into town together.
