Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 57: Talk With Chu Hong

Zhang Fei had not had time to ask yet, but they had already heard a woman calling out to him from afar. ”Fei!”

They then turned towards the voice, they saw a man along with three women flying towards them, and the youngest woman seemed to be flying in a hurry.

Ru Xue, Xu Lingʼer, and Qing Yiʼs eyes widened when they saw they could fly, they had only seen people able to fly in movies, but now they saw people who could fly for real.

The four people were none other than Chu Hong, Liu Qingyu, Chu Ying, and Chu Qing.

Chu Qing glided really fast towards them and jumped into Zhang Feiʼs arms as soon as she landed, then she hugged him tightly while sobbing. ”Wuu~ Why have you come so long? Wuu~ Iʼve been waiting for you for almost two days. Wuu~”

”Hey, why are you crying, Qingʼer? Didnʼt I come already?” As he hugged her, Zhang Fei laughed softly. He looked at the three people who had just landed, and he nodded to Chu Hong and Liu Qingyu. ʼTsk, that man must be Qingyuʼs husband.ʼ ”How are you, Yingʼer?”

Chu Ying walked closer to him, then she hugged Zhang Fei and her little sister together. ”I really missed you, Fei.”

Qing Yi and Ru Xue were baffled by the Chu Sistersʼ behavior. They didnʼt expect that there were still two other beauties falling into Zhang Feiʼs arms. Meanwhile, Zhang Chen was no longer surprised to see them like that since she had met them before.

As for Xu Lingʼer, she became more and more angry. ʼBig brother is a playboy now! He even has so many women!ʼ

Chu Hong observed Zhang Fei and the four women seriously; he could sense that Zhang Feiʼs cultivation was still at 4 Star Body Realm, while the four women had no cultivation. As for Zhang Lin, he was quite surprised to feel that her cultivation base was already at the 10 Star Elementary Realm; that was because she had been cultivating non-stop in the qi gathering formation.

Unlike her husband, Liu Qingyuʼs heart became chaotic when she saw Zhang Feiʼs face again, especially after she had dual cultivation with him before. During these two days, she was always restless, thinking about him. ʼDamn it! I really find it hard to control myself; if this continues, then my husband will find out about our relationship.ʼ

After a few minutes, Chu Qing finally calmed down, and they let go of their embrace.

The Chu Sisters looked at Ru Xue and Qing Ying, then Chu Qing asked. ”Who are they, Fei? Are they your women too?”

Zhang Fei smiled and introduced them to each other.

Chu Hong patted his shoulder, as he said gratefully. ”Thank you for saving my wife from Pang Hong, Zhang Fei.”

”No problem, I just canʼt stand to see Chu Qing and Chu Ying sad if they lose their mother.” Zhang Fei replied with a smile.

Chu Hong didnʼt want to beat around the bush, especially after he saw his daughterʼs closeness to Zhang Fei, as he told Liu Qingyu. ”You can teach the four of them how to cultivate, and I want to talk to Zhang Fei first.”

”Alright.” Liu Qingyu replied with a nod.

The Liu Sisters then brought the four women into the qi gathering formation and taught them how to absorb qi from the air. The Chu Sisters and Zhang Lin also entered the formation to cultivate, and they waited for Chu Hong to finish talking with Zhang Fei.

”Do you really like my daughters, Zhang Fei?” Chu Hong asked bluntly because it concerned the future of his daughters.

ʼTsk, not only your daughters, but I also like your wife.ʼ Zhang Fei then replied casually. ”Even though Iʼve only known them for two days. But I know they are nice, smart, and caring women. So, of course, I really like them.”

Chu Hong stared intently into his eyes, but Zhang Fei no longer felt the fear he had when he first met Liu Qingyu, and he stared back at Chu Hongʼs eyes indifferently.

Chu Hong quickly shifted his gaze after discovering nothing unusual about him. ”Even though my daughters liked you, I canʼt allow them to be with a demi-human being like you.”

”Ha ha!” Zhang Fei laughed heartily at his words. ”Do you think a demi-human can be born in a realm where there is no Qi? In my realm, we donʼt know anything about cultivators and the cultivation world; to us, they are just fairy tales. Moreover, youʼve seen that my grandmother, mother, and sister were ordinary human beings.”

Chu Hong looked at him again as he raised his eyebrows, and he thought about Zhang Feiʼs words for a moment before asking. ”In that case, how did you become a demi-human?”

”This is my true form.” Zhang Fei answered as he returned to his original form. ”I was just an ordinary human like you guys before, but one day I almost died, and the person who saved me gave me a fox bloodline, but I donʼt know the identity of that person. However, I am sure my savior came from another realm.”

”Another realm, huh? How many other realms are you familiar with? And how did you get to this Sky Jade Realm?”

”For now, I only know two realms: my original realm and the Sky Jade realm. As for how I got to this realm, I canʼt tell you.” Although he didnʼt sense any malicious intent from Chu Hong, he didnʼt know him well yet, so Zhang Fei didnʼt want to share too much information with him.

Chu Hong sighed upon hearing that; originally, he hoped that Zhang Fei could send him to a higher realm. Unfortunately, he didnʼt know about other realms. As for his original realm, he didnʼt feel any interest in going there, especially after he heard that there was no Qi there.

Chu Hongʼs killing intent leaking from his body caused Zhang Fei to shiver and break out in a cold sweat, and he then spoke seriously to him. ”Since you are an ordinary human who inherited the fox bloodline, I allow my daughters to be with you, but if you dare to hurt their feelings, then I will kill you with my own hands. Do you understand, Zhang Fei?”

”I understand.” Zhang Fei replied with a casual nod, but in his heart, Zhang Fei still felt fear from Chu Hongʼs killing intent.

After they chatted for a while, Chu Hong flew away, and Zhang Fei walked back to the back garden. ʼHumph! You dare threaten me with your killing intent; just see how I will repay you later.ʼ

Mei suddenly said. [Your nature is increasingly resembling your bloodlines, Master. Heavenly Fox is arrogant and cunning by nature, and Incubus is perverted by nature. Itʼs actually good, but you shouldnʼt lose your human nature, because itʼs your human nature that can create a balance between the two.]

ʼEn, I know, Mei.ʼ Zhang Fei himself was aware that his nature was getting more and more affected by his two bloodlines, but sometimes it was difficult for him to control them. ʼSigh, it seems I have to find a way to keep my three natures in balance.ʼ

When Zhang Fei arrived at the back garden, Liu Hua and Liu Qingyu were surprised to see him; this was the first time they saw his human form.

Liu Hua asked him. ”Did you use a shapeshifting technique to become a human, Fei?”

”He didnʼt use any shapeshifting techniques, Huaʼer.” Liu Qingyu said, while her eyes were focused on observing his body. ”I donʼt know how you can do it, but both of your forms are real because my eyes can distinguish the shapeshifting technique with certainty.”

Zhang Fei chuckled at their curious expressions; he then entered the formation and sat cross-legged in front of them. ”At first, I was just an ordinary human like you guys. But for one reason or another, I obtained a fox bloodline from my Savior. And as Qingyu said, both my forms are indeed real.”

”But I prefer your half-fox form, Fei!” Chu Qing said with a pout and moved to sit on his lap; she only liked to see Zhang Fei in his half-fox form, especially since his fur was so soft and his aura so calming.

Chu Ying also nodded in agreement with her little sister; she also really liked Zhang Fei in his half-fox form. As for Liu Hua and Liu Qingyu, they had no problem with his human form or half-fox form.

ʼTsk, I still donʼt understand why women like fluffy things or creatures.ʼ Zhang Fei then helplessly transformed himself into his half fox form. ”Are you two satisfied now?”

”Hehe.” Chu Qing giggled and snuggled up to his chest, sniffing his scent. ”I really like your scent, Fei.”

Zhang Fei and the others couldnʼt help but shake their heads at her antics; he then rubbed Chu Qingʼs head. ”I will cultivate first.”

Minutes later, Liu Qingyu raised her eyebrows because she noticed something different about Zhang Fei, and she muttered under her breath. ”Incredible! Heʼs absorbing Qi faster than before.”

”En, I can feel it too, Big Sis.” Liu Hua said with a nod as her eyes continued to stare at her husband, and then she said to her two nieces. ”If you guys donʼt cultivate diligently, sooner or later, Fei will overtake yours.”

”Your aunt is telling you the truth.” Liu Qingyu nodded in agreement. ”His Qi absorption speed is too terrifying, so the two of you should also cultivate harder.”

”We understand, Mom, Aunt.” Chu Ying and Chu Qing answered at the same time, and they continued cultivating again.
