The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 135: Chapter 135: Do You Like Him?

Su Xingyan really wanted to turn back and drag the person out to be beaten to death!

But that happened to be Han Jing’s maid, and he couldn’t intervene! Because others feared him, but Han Jing did not! Moreover, now Han Jing had a protector by her side, not to mention he was heavily injured at the moment; even when uninjured, he couldn’t do anything to Han Jing!

Su Xingyan stifled his anger and returned with a sullen face!

As soon as he reached his own courtyard, he heard a servant report that the Emperor had instructed him to see him immediately upon his return.

Su Xingyan had a bad feeling about it.

He hesitated for a moment, but then took out a medicine pill and swallowed it.

Whether it was a psychological effect or the Yun Family’s medicine was truly miraculous, as soon as Su Xingyan swallowed the pill, he felt a sense of relief, as if his internal organs were wrapped in a warm flow, and the unusual pain from before eased considerably.

He then remembered that he had once told his father that during this autumn hunt, he would definitely find a chance to reconcile with Han Jing, and if he failed to do so, he might be forced by his father to return to his fief.

Su Xingyan felt a wave of dizziness at the thought. Back then, he had sworn with such assurance because he had planned to find a way to lure Han Jing into the Liangshan Snow Forest during the autumn hunt, ensuring she wouldn’t return alive! But he never expected that, in the end, he would indeed accidentally lure Han Jing into the Liangshan Snow Forest, but also got himself trapped! To be honest, if Han Jing hadn’t saved him last night, he might have ended up in a wolf’s belly by now!

Although he was knocked out by Han Jing last night and did not know how Han Jing managed to escape with him, seeing Han Jing in such a sorry state at the time, she must have suffered a lot.

Su Xingyan didn’t know why, but thinking about this made him feel strange. Han Jing must have feelings for him; otherwise, she wouldn’t have saved him. With Han Jing’s nature, if she didn’t like him, she would have wished for his death! So, she must really like him, right!

But Su Xingyan couldn’t understand, why does she like him in this way? It always drives him crazy, even making him want to strangle her!

Moreover, if she truly likes him, why would she withdraw the marriage proposal!

The reason his aunt went to the Emperor to withdraw the marriage proposal must have been at Han Jing’s behest. He really didn’t believe that Han Jing would call off the engagement over a moment’s heated words from last night, yet she did break off the engagement with him!

Su Xingyan also didn’t understand what was wrong with himself. Clearly, when he saw Han Jing, he despised her so much, wishing she were dead, yet thinking of her, he felt weird, as if something was pulling at him. One moment telling him he truly despised Han Jing, another moment saying she wasn’t so detestable after all.

Moreover, now that they have truly broken off the engagement, and he couldn’t lure her into the Liangshan Snow Forest, with Youyou around in the future, he would be even more helpless against her. How could he hold her accountable then? Wasn’t he planning to marry Han Jing and then slowly take care of her? But now they’ve broken off the engagement, and he’s lost the chance...

Su Xingyan’s heart was in chaos, completely blocked.

Unconsciously, he had already reached the Emperor’s place. He got off the sedan chair, no longer needing assistance, and found it much easier to walk.

It seems these medicine pills are truly miraculous; he had only taken one for a quarter-hour and felt much better. It seems Yun Feng’s claim that his internal injuries would heal within three days was not just empty words!

However, at the thought of the 880,000 taels of silver, Su Xingyan’s whole body started aching again!
