The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 102: Chapter 102: She Doesn’t Want to Lose!

But no matter what, he absolutely cannot lose to Han Jing today!

From the initial disdain to the current seriousness, the two of them unknowingly walked far away!

As for Han Jing, with Su Xingyan, the first opponent she encountered since her rebirth, even though this person wouldn’t have even been on her radar during her peak, now, Han Jing absolutely won’t let herself lose to Su Xingyan!

It’s not that she can’t afford to lose, she just doesn’t want to lose!

Han Jing is actually a very carefree person; she usually doesn’t care much about many things or many people. But that doesn’t mean she’s someone who silently endures! If the opponent challenges her, not fighting back would be ****!

She not only wants to make Su Xingyan lose, but also make him lose both face and dignity!

Su Xingyan always thought he was so impressive, but today, she’s set on letting him know that he can’t even beat the person he despises the most!

When everyone set off, there was still an hour until the Wu hour, so many people went back early. The hunting competition lasts for three days, and it doesn’t just depend on the results of one day. Continuing in the afternoon isn’t too late! Some that didn’t return earlier headed back in the afternoon one after another, but Han Jing and Su Xingyan were nowhere to be seen!

By evening, most of the participants in the hunting competition had returned, still no sight of Han Jing and Su Xingyan. Su Yaogeng had already become a bit anxious and couldn’t sit still! She worried that Han Jing might be lost because she wasn’t familiar with the terrain of the hunting ground, and dispatched several teams of the Imperial Guard to look for them!

But, to Su Yaogeng’s surprise, all the dispatched teams returned, yet Han Jing still hadn’t come back! And by then, it was already dark!

Han Jing and Su Xingyan were indeed lost!

Both unwilling to admit defeat and intent on surpassing each other, neither noticed where they had ended up. By the time Su Xingyan felt something was wrong as the sky began to darken, it was already impossible to find the way back!

Han Jing hadn’t expected to get lost either, but when she calculated the time, seven or eight hours had passed since their departure and realizing they were lost. With such a length of time, riding a horse, she truly couldn’t estimate how far they had gone!

If she were in the modern era, any task in the jungle would involve carrying all sorts of instruments and equipment that could determine directions despite lack of signal. Yet now, in this godforsaken ancient forest, no matter how rich her experience is, it’s useless without any tools!

What’s more frustrating is that it not only got dark, but cloudy as well, rendering moonlight—and not even a single star—non-existent!

Overall, it’s pitch dark everywhere. If she could find the way back, that would be a miracle!

She rode the horse for the first time, lacking much rapport with it. Having run with her all afternoon, it was already exhausted and wouldn’t move any further. Han Jing, helpless, got off the horse and collected branches to start a fire. She wasn’t cold; her physique made her immune to the chill of the air.

Her thought was, if she didn’t return by the expected time, her mother would definitely send someone to find her. So rather than wandering aimlessly, it was better to wait here for someone to come by.

Su Xingyan, after riding in circles to no avail, saw a flicker of firelight from afar and spurred his horse over with excitement, only to find Han Jing there, making his face turn gloomy: ”You’re just planning to sit here and wait idly?”
