The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 106: Chapter 106: Look at You, So Spineless!

Han Jing was already calm now. It’s just a wolf pack, what’s there to fear? What do wolves fear? Fire! As long as she sets a large area on fire, there’s still a chance to escape! At most, it will excessively drain her superpower, and she’ll just need a few more days to recover!

What situations hasn’t Han Jing encountered? Once, she was on a mission in the Ancient Forest chasing someone and accidentally fell into the Snake Cave. Even though she always gets weak at the sight of snakes, she managed to escape in that situation. Now, these animals she isn’t afraid of mean nothing at all!

In Han Jing’s eyes, animals only fall into two categories. What she fears most are the soft-bodied, crawling ones like snakes and caterpillars. Apart from these, the rest are nothing!

”Look at your useless demeanor!” Han Jing gave Su Xingyan a disdainful glance. Are you even a man?

Where they were now was at the tip of a cliff that wasn’t too high. Whether they rushed out or jumped off, they’d land right in the wolves’ den!

The wolf pack that forced them to this place stared at them intently, momentarily not charging forward!

Han Jing wasn’t sure if the two wolf packs front and back were together. If not, they might still hold out a bit longer! Because once the wolf pack ahead charged at them, they’d have to fight or jump down! If they jumped down, they’d likely drag the charging wolves with them! But if the two packs weren’t together, the ones ahead might be in trouble!

Wolves are very spiritual animals; since they are gregarious, they must have their own territories and are likely not to violate each other! So, this is probably why the pack ahead hasn’t immediately charged at them!

Han Jing was pondering how best to escape. If she could provoke a war between the two wolf packs, her chances of escaping would be bigger. However, she still needed to plan her escape route well, to avoid exhausting herself too much and then running into another pack. That would be truly unfortunate!

Su Xingyan now didn’t have the mood to bicker with Han Jing anymore. Whether it was because escape seemed hopeless, Su Xingyan, looking at Han Jing, began to experience some strange feelings. The snow behind them spread wide, making the sky bright and allowing him to clearly see Han Jing’s side profile without the birthmark.

For the first time, he noticed that, without the birthmark on the other side of her face, Han Jing looked quite beautiful! Her features were delicate, her nose sharp, her black hair and red clothes made her skin appear even paler, like snow, beautiful like the legendary elves living in the Northern Polar Forest!

And at such a fearful moment, looking at this profile, his heart couldn’t help but beat faster!

Was he really too scared?

But why does she look as if she’s not scared at all?

For the first time, Su Xingyan felt he never really knew Han Jing. This woman he deeply disliked, perhaps he never seriously looked at her, nor tried to understand her! What he saw seemed to always be that half of her ugly face, obscuring his view.

Has he really never seen Han Jing’s true appearance?

”You, ... aren’t you afraid?” Su Xingyan didn’t know why he unwittingly asked.
