The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 127: Chapter 127: Breaking Off the Engagement!!! (Part 3)

Dongbao has been by Han Jing’s side for many years, and knows better than anyone how much Han Jing cares about the birthmark on her face. So now, she really couldn’t understand Han Jing’s actions.

”It’s a good thing it can disappear, but it’s just not the right time yet.” Han Jing couldn’t explain the superpower she had to Dongbao, so she couldn’t explain why the birthmark on her face was gradually disappearing either.

Although what Dongbao said wasn’t entirely implausible, it was still somewhat absurd, and people might not believe it.

If it led to unnecessary trouble, it would not be worth it.

The birthmark on her face would eventually disappear. Once her body recovered more and her Fire Ability was fully activated, it would vanish completely. Then, she could find a convenient opportunity, and everything would naturally fall into place.

Dongbao worriedly said, ”But Miss, if this rouge stays on your face for too long, what if it comes off...”

Han Jing paused her hand, thinking that the rouge would have to be quite formidable for that to happen... With such a low-quality product, it would wash off with water...

Speaking of which, Han Jing still fondly remembered the skincare products she used to use. Although she didn’t really need them, as a woman who cared for herself, it was about enjoying beauty and fun.

She looked disdainfully at the rouge in her hand: ”If you have nothing to do these two days, take Bo He to the garden to pick some fresh flowers, and we’ll concoct our own.”

Dongbao’s eyes widened: ”Make our own rouge? Great, great, I’ll go right away!”

With that, she immediately went into action.

Many women in the capital enjoy making their own rouge from various seasonal flowers and exchanging them as gifts among their sisters. It was a joy. Previously, due to her inferiority complex, Han Jing rarely went out, so she often hid in her courtyard to enjoy this hobby. However, later on, after people mocked her saying that no matter how well she made it, it couldn’t be used, she never touched it again.

Seeing Han Jing willing to do these things now, Dongbao thought she had truly let go and was happy for her.

Han Jing was putting on the birthmark when she heard Mu Jin outside saying that Su Yaogeng had come.

Han Jing had sent Bo He to see if Su Yaogeng was up before going herself, but she didn’t expect Su Yaogeng to come in person.

Su Yaogeng saw that Han Jing was in good spirits and felt slightly relieved, chiding her, ”You child, every time I ask you to see a doctor, you hide. After such a big incident yesterday, how can I be at ease without having the Imperial Physician check you? Be good today, and let the Imperial Physician come and take a good look, lest the cold from last night leaves any lasting illness!”

Upon hearing Su Yaogeng was going to call the Imperial Physician again, Han Jing hastily interrupted, ”Mother, there’s something very important I need your help with.”

”Oh? What is it?” Su Yaogeng asked in surprise.

Han Jing earnestly said, ”Mother, I was immature and blind before, which is why I fell for Su Xingyan that...”

Han Jing held back the words ”bastard” and continued, ”Now I’ve completely figured it out. A forced relationship won’t be sweet, and after everything that’s happened these days, I’ve seen clearly who this person really is. So, Mother, please help me once more and go tell the Emperor to annul this marriage!”

Han Jing had mentioned annulling the marriage to Su Yaogeng before, so when she brought it up again, Su Yaogeng wasn’t surprised.
