Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1997: Chapter 1999: Only Satisfied by Losing My Life

Let’s go kill someone together!

Such a short sentence, she clearly said it with a smile, but Bi Xiaojin felt his scalp tingle and his face slightly changed.

”What? Are you afraid? Or are you not as in love with me as you pretend to be? Are you afraid of death?” Chiang Qing looked at him with a smile.

Bi Xiaojin swallowed and said, ”Qingqing, you...”

”If you can’t do it, then don’t say you love me.” Chiang Qing indifferently turned her head away.

”Who do you want to kill? Even if I am willing to go with you, who could the two of us kill?” Bi Xiaojin calmed down and said, ”Kill Shen Qizheng? Shen Rong? Lin Biao? Or someone else from the Shen Family? Or that person with the last name Ning?”

With each name he mentioned, Chiang Qing’s face darkened a bit more, and the hand resting on her knee clenched tightly.

”Qingqing, there are just the two of us, no people, and not much money. Who could we kill?” Bi Xiaojin said, ”Isn’t it nice as it is now? Watching the sunrise in the east, watching the sunset in the west, this tranquility, isn’t it nice?”

”Here, no one knows us, and we don’t have to be on edge all the time, isn’t it good?” Bi Xiaojin looked at her, ”Why do you keep thinking about those people and remembering the past? Why must you make life difficult for yourself and refuse to let go?”

”Why should I let it go, why should I? What do you know of the pain and suffering I’ve endured?” Chiang Qing was infuriated.

He didn’t understand, he understood nothing, standing there talking like this, without a care for her pain. Who could understand how much it hurt?

”When will these cycles of vengeance end? Besides, we made the first mistake!” Bi Xiaojin said.

”I did nothing wrong!” Chiang Qing’s eyes widened.

”No, you were wrong!” Bi Xiaojin pressed his lips together, looking at the sky red as blood, said: ”Actually, if you weren’t so insistent on having a child, you wouldn’t have been with me, and we wouldn’t have ended up hiding like this. Though you were just the Third Mistress, still living a life of luxury without worry. But instead...”

”Regret it, don’t you?” Chiang Qing sneered, ”Finally think it was me who dragged you down, right!”

Bi Xiaojin looked over, his gaze a bit hurt: ”If you really think that, we wouldn’t be sitting on this beach talking, you would have already been disposed of by the Shen Family, and I would be nowhere to be found.”

Chiang Qing didn’t speak.

If he truly feared being dragged down, Bi Xiaojin would never have turned back, risking his life to rescue her from the Shen Family, that’s a fact.

But, so what?

”I know you’re indignant and unwilling, but at this point, what can we do but accept it? What capital do we have to do anything?” Bi Xiaojin said gently.

Whether it’s the Shen Family, that Ning Ge, or others, they couldn’t be easily moved; they didn’t have the leverage.

Moreover, if they left this place, who knows, they might immediately be caught by the Shen Family, and then, would they even have their lives?

Her unwillingness, must it cost her life to be satisfied?

”There’s no need for you to lecture me with your reasoning.” Chiang Qing stood up, looking down at him, coldly smiled and said: ”Our child was beaten, you can comfortably live like this, but I can’t!”

Our child!

Bi Xiaojin shuddered, stood up, Chiang Qing turned and left, he said to her back: ”Even if it costs your life, you still want revenge?”

Chiang Qing stopped and said without looking back, ”Yes, even if it means mutual destruction!”
