The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 262: Taking Amiya with me

I made some plans to fight against Mikael, and now all I can do is wait, there’s not much I can do just thinking about it, so I decided to give Amiya the reward she wanted so much.

I have some interest in the stars, but it’s minimal, I’m just curious about what they are and what I have to do with it since they decided to give Amiya debuffs that connect her to me in some way.

The stars are obviously putting me at an advantage against Amiya and that’s curious, plus I also don’t know for sure what corrupting Amiya would be favorable to the stars.

So I want to do some tests for this, if Amiya wants to be ordered to do things then I’ll make her do things, now that I have some free time I’ll go to Amiya’s room taking advantage of the fact that it’s nighttime and she won’t be in class anymore.

Arriving at her door, I just invade, finding Riko, but since he’s not the one I want to see, I’ll just have him call Amiya.

”W-Why are you here!” Riko asks confused by the sudden invasion.

”Turn into Amiya and follow me, we’re going to a really nice place” I go to the black market, I have an order to place and luckily I obtained the new location of the black market, I used some crows for that.

They discovered an auction held by the queen of thieves herself, it’s a good opportunity to talk to her and get information, and thanks to Amiya’s debuffs I can take her with me and I know she won’t tell anyone anything.

I also want to make Amiya commit bad acts, maybe this will increase her corruption percentage, and that’s interesting in its own way.

Because I want to learn more about the system, so that maybe I can increase my authority over it, which is currently very low, if the stars can add a new tab it means they affect the system at least a bit.

So I want to understand exactly how to increase this influence, because if I can affect the system I will have much more freedom over what to do and over the administration of some races.

”O-Okay, I’ll go, one moment” Riko says as he begins to speak that huge transformation speech, and as soon as he’s done I grab her hand and teleport us both through the shadows to the Veritus mansion.

”Here, choose something” I say as I release her in front of a place full of clothes, revealing myself at the black market is not a good option, so of course I already have everything ready.

I see the dress and artifact I had requested from Veritus earlier when I found out about the auction, a black and gold dress with a black dragon mask with golden details engraved.

I hold the mask and check it, it looks very good and the magic in it is great, it should be able to hide my identity well against someone who is not extremely powerful in magic.

”P-Pandora, where are we going?” Amiya asks nervously as she chooses an ugly white mask.

”Shut up, you’ll just follow me and speak when I let you speak” I start giving orders to see how she will obey, anyway I’m just taking her with me to try to increase her corruption.

”And change that dress” She didn’t even choose one of the dresses that are here, obviously someone who sees her flashy dress will be able to recognize her if they see her again, so she needs to change.

Without caring much about her looking, I take off my clothes and put on my dress for the occasion, my focus at the black market is not the auction but the information, the leader of the entire black market will undoubtedly have a lot of information.

Privileged information that can be useful to me if I get my hands on it, and I’m willing to pay a lot for good information, especially about the church.

”No, that dress is ugly, pick another one” I say as I destroy the dress she chose with the [Incinerate Female Clothing] magic I have, it’s not very useful, but since I learned it, it doesn’t hurt to use it.

”O-Okay” She timidly picks another one.

”No, pick another one, green looks horrible on you, choose something more elegant, preferably black, gold or white, maybe red wouldn’t look bad either” She’s a sin against fashion.

Not that I understand much about fashion, since usually all my clothes are black with some other color to highlight the black, but that’s because black is the perfect color for me.

My extremely pale skin and natural black hair naturally highlight clothes that are also black, so that’s why I prefer the color black, and obviously it’s usually the servants who choose my clothes.

”H-How about this one” Amiya says, picking a white dress with golden and black ruffles.

”Ugly, you look like a bee, don’t mix the colors!” She picked something that just needed red to look even uglier, since these are disguise clothes, the maids don’t seem to have cared much about aesthetics.

The only dress here that was extremely well planned was the one I’m wearing, of course all of them are for me to wear, but the maids know I don’t care much about clothes.

So they just tried to stand out in a single dress and left the others with less detail or natural beauty, in addition to the changes in proportions in each dress that change how it works through magic.

”H-How about this pink one?”

”Pink? Seriously? It’s terrible with your golden eyes” Normally I wouldn’t care what others wear, in the end it’s just a disguise, but I’m purposely controlling her choices just as she wanted.

She asked to receive orders, so I’m giving orders as she had requested, so she has no right to complain about the way I speak to her.

”H-How about this one?”

”...Not bad at all” She picked a dark purple dress close to an indigo color, it has black ruffles that stand out and balance the dark purple tone, making it look nice.

And the very different color ends up making the golden color of Amiya’s hair and eyes stand out, so it’s not bad at all.

”This one is great on you, you can use it, but choose a matching mask, and when we get to the place never take the mask off” The black market is a complicated place.

If you have your identity revealed there explicitly, you can end up being blackmailed, it’s obvious to many who is behind the mask, but as long as there’s the slightest chance of it not being that person, no one can say anything.

And the owners of the black market usually never use this information for the protection of the identity of their collaborators, so they can only threaten you if you really reveal who you are explicitly.

Of course, depending on your authority, no one would dare threaten you even knowing who you are, but Amiya is just a hero and is not the smart type, so I don’t doubt they would try to threaten her in exchange for something.

”There are some rules about the place we’re going, and if you disobey any of them you’ll have problems, first never take off the mask, second never introduce yourself, third never talk to anyone”

”You should just obediently follow me without trying to talk to people, fourth never question too much and don’t try to get involved in what you weren’t called for, just ignore everything you see”

”If you do well I can give you a sweet reward” Amiya seems slightly tempted by the promise of a sweet reward, which would obviously be something good for her.

’I wonder if I can arrange someone exotic to eat and torture’ I briefly wonder, I think I’m developing a hobby for experimenting with exotic people.

It happened during the months I was working on my kingdom, during the banquets where living mortals were brought to my office for me to eat, in general they were always a variety.

And I loved experimenting with different beings, the blood and flesh have unique tastes depending on what they were, lately I’ve been feeling hungrier, I’m not sure why.

I just feel hungrier, not at a painful or uncontrollable level, but it’s a fact that it seems like something good is missing to whet my appetite, something that excites my palate, after trying certain flavors others have been overshadowed.

”P-Pandora, is this mask good?” Amiya asks, snapping me out of my daydreaming about food.

”No, it’s horrible, your sense of aesthetics is crap” She drops the rabbit mask on the floor and picks up another one that has a matte black tone with purple patterns.

”And this one?”

”That’s acceptable, let’s go, we have limited time” The auction will start in 3 hours, it’s a relatively limited time, and from what I found out from the shadow crows, influential people will be going just because the hostess of this auction is the leader of it all.

And this type of auction has everything, rare artifacts, valuable information, first-class slaves, among many other things, so maybe I’ll find something useful, I can even buy a souvenir for Zephyra if I see something cool.

I adjust the dress on my body and adjust the mask on my face, looking in the mirror, without a doubt I am an incredible beauty, after becoming a teenager I became much more beautiful.

I like my breasts at this size, they are beautiful and highlight my body even more, giving me a sensual and elegant, but dangerous air, basically I have beautiful feminine attributes.

I’m sure Mikael will like this appearance, which is much better than the past where I barely had breasts and my feminine attributes were much smaller.

Amiya finishes adjusting her clothes and we both leave together, the entrance location is a bit far, but we’ll arrive with plenty of time at the auction site.
