Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 782 - 783: I admit defeat

”Done, you can take it out,” Arabel said, finishing serving all three portions of her dish.

The waitress, a little nervous, came over and, with a slight tremor in her hands, put all three dishes on the tray. Then she went to the hall to deliver them to the judges for evaluation.

”Can I try it?” Sofia asked, approaching Arabel right after she finished. Sofia was the first to finish serving her dishes, and they were served to her earlier. All the while, she silently watched Arabel finish her part of the cooking.

”Sure, wait a bit,” — Arabel replied, not rejecting her. She began to arrange the remaining dishes into individual portions.

”You can come over too, maʼam,” Arabel said, beckoning to Sophiaʼs mother, who was standing off to the side.

Arabel quickly served and served small portions to both mother and daughter.

Both mother and daughter, being closer, felt even more the pleasant rich aroma of the dishes.

Sofia cooked daily and gradually got used to the flavor of her dishes. However, strangely enough, her sense of smell seemed to be sharper when she inhaled the smells of someone elseʼs cooking. But this time, it not only seemed to her, but it was obvious that these dishes smelled better than the ones she cooked herself.

Before she had even tasted the dish, Sofia already knew that she had lost the competition, but she was not very sad. Watching Arabel cook, she learned a lot of new and useful things for herself. Most importantly, her System has confirmed that she is ready for her ascension test and can try to reach the Golden Rank.

As for the opportunity to review the ”Manual”, Sofia was sure that since she had lost and, following the terms of the bet, should join this womanʼs Guild, she would have a chance to receive this Manual.

Thus, Sofia not only did not lose, but also gained significant benefits.

”I admit defeat,” she said after tasting Arabelʼs dish. It was something incredible, she had never tried anything like it before. It was a completely different level of cooking, not comparable to her own.

”Oh,” Sofiaʼs mother exclaimed, biting her tongue and blushing. As a mortal, she was more sensitive to taste and, fascinated by the incredible taste, she couldnʼt help but almost eat her tongue.

”Despite your silver rank, you are also incredible, Sofia,” Arabel said. ”You only need time to catch up and surpass me.”

Arabel wasnʼt just comforting; she was telling the truth.

Now, at the initial stage, they have a slight advantage, but Sofia, as she cultivates, will definitely surpass both her and her husband.

This realization only reinforced Arabelʼs desire to attract Sophia to herself. After all, once Sofia reaches their level, they will have the opportunity to learn from her and continue to develop their cooking skills.

[Ding! The task ”Challenge Sofia to a culinary duel” has been completed.]

Arabel, distracted by the Systemʼs message, smiled when she saw this.

[Ding! A coupon for a random recipe has been received from the Supreme Chef System.]

”Oh, another coupon!” said Arabel happily.

[Ding! The hidden condition ”Inspire your opponent with your skill” is fulfilled.]

”Ha ha ha, I guessed it right after all,” she thought with a satisfied laugh.

[Ding! The ”chef girl costume” was obtained.]

”Oh, another costume?” Arabelʼs eyes shone with delight. Although she hadnʼt worn any of them yet, she understood that such things would always come in handy, and she would definitely need them in the future.

[The chef girl costume allows the Host to dress up in a special outfit that greatly enhances the cooking skills of the Host]

”Huh? Enhances the cooking skills?” — instead of joy, Arabel for some reason felt a little disappointed.

She thought that this costume was somewhat similar to the outfits from the Lust collection and that it would be a very seductive chefʼs costume. Arabelʼs face suddenly blushed as she realized that her thoughts were still revolving around obscenities.

[Host, thereʼs no need to worry. You can use this costume not only for its intended purpose, but also for seduction and role-playing with your husband. Your husband will surely like how you will look in this outfit].

”Hmm... indeed,” — Arabel agreed with the Systemʼs suggestion.

”Is something wrong?” asked Sofia, noticing that Arabel was deep in thought about something.

”Oh, no, itʼs fine,” Arabel replied with a slight awkwardness on her face.

”Then, shall we go out? Although the result is already obvious,” Sofia said with a slight smile. A loss is a loss, and no matter how much Sofia tries to convince herself that she has gained more than a loss, she still has a small residue in her soul.

”Okay, letʼs go outside,” Arabel agreed, following Sofia and her mother.

When they came out, the judges had already finished tasting and evaluating the dishes. All six empty plates were as clean as if they had been licked.

Beatrice and Arthur had almost the same dreamy and joyful expression, and Darkia, as usual, was smiling broadly.

When Arthur and Beatrice saw Sofia and Arabel appear, they stared at them in amazement. They could not have imagined that in one day they would be able to discover two talented chefs at once, capable of cooking dishes from the new world they so wanted to try.

Especially the second course that was served.

”Who… Who prepared the dishes that were served last?” asked Arthur, and everyone simultaneously turned their attention to Sofia and Arabel.

Sofia and her mother turned their heads towards Arabel, and that was enough for everyone to understand who had prepared these dishes.

”Congratulations, Mrs. Fein, I do not even know how to express my admiration for your dish. Weʼve all come to the conclusion that youʼve won,” Arthur said, staring intently at Arabel.

”Thank you for the praise,” Arabel replied with a smile, then turned to Sofia. ”According to our bet, from now on, Sofia, you will become a member of my Guild.”

”Okay, a loss is a loss, Iʼll join your Guild,” Sofia agreed.

”Thatʼs great,” — Arabel exclaimed happily, pleased not only that she had recruited Sofia, but also that she had completed another task of the System.
