Chapter 755: Stranger, let me try these candies

A huge red eye with vertical pupils stared at him intently, as if it saw right through him.

Idan felt goosebumps run down his spine just from the look of those massive eyes.

He wasnʼt stupid, and he immediately realized what had happened, where he was, and who was looking at him.

”Iʼve been teleported to the very center of the lava lake!” he exclaimed to himself, recognizing the feeling of teleportation Geminia was using. He also sensed an even stronger fire elemental energy, which, although useful, was also fraught with danger if he stayed here too long.

”So weʼve been watched all this time,” Idan thought, looking down at the dragon, who had been moved here with him almost immediately after he asked if he wanted to go with him.

Meanwhile, seeing the eyes, the dragon began to kick. When Idan loosened his grip, he broke free and plopped into the lava.

When Idan looked up again, the massive eye was gone. Instead, he saw a surprisingly small, graceful dragon with scales the color of lava in front of him. This dragon looked very much like a little dragon, but it had six wings on its back and much larger horns on its head, which looked longer and sharper than a little dragon, whose horns did not seem to have fully growth yet.

”Graaa... graaa,” the little dragon rushed at the second dragon, and it caught it with its paws.

Looking at this scene, Idan involuntarily activated his {Eye of Identification} ability. Before he could get any information, his eyes were pierced by a sharp pain, and he was forced to cancel the effect of the ability.

[Ding! The rank of the chosen target is too high to use the ability without consent.]

[Attention! The creature noticed the attempt and counterattacked.]

[Ding! The {Eye of Identification} ability is sealed.]

”Damn!” exclaimed Idan, clutching his eyes. The pain was sudden and unbearable.

Seeing Idanʼs suffering, a faint smirk flashed across the dragonʼs face. And the little dragon, not understanding what was happening, continued to watch everything with curiosity.

Idan could hardly bear the pain, feeling something warm trickle down his cheeks. He quickly realized that it was blood.

”You know, excessive and thoughtless curiosity has killed many,” a womanʼs voice rang in his head.

”Yes, I know, Iʼm sorry, and I apologize,” Idan said, enduring the pain. At the same time, he remembered a saying from his world: ”Curiosity killed the cat.”

”Okay, I forgive you, and let this be a lesson to you,” said the voice.

”Thank you for your kindness,” Idan said, feeling the pain gradually subside under the influence of the powerful energy of the fire, and his eyes begin to recover.

”So, tell me, stranger from another world, how did you seduce my boy? And where did you intend to take him?” a womanʼs voice rang out, which had previously sounded calm, but now had a note of hostility in it.

”I didnʼt seduce,” Idan hastened to justify himself. ”I just gave him candies, which are very fond of a little fox who lives with me and my wife.”

”Candies?” the voice asked.

”Yes, candies,” Idan replied, slowly opening his eyes and trying to get used to the bright light.

When his vision returned, he saw the graceful dragon and the little dragon again, who was comfortably ensconced in the arms of the big one and watching him.

”Graa… Graaa...” said the little dragon, raising his head and addressing the graceful dragon.

”Hmm... are you saying that they are incredibly delicious?” asked a female voice, which Idan understood to belong to the graceful dragon.

”Graa. Graa,” the little dragon nodded.

”Stranger, let me try these candies,” the dragon said, looking up at Idan.

Idan, watching the little dragon, noticed how his eyes were shining with joy. Then he shifted his gaze to the graceful dragon and wondered if he should treat her to sweets.

Idan was a little afraid that the candies he bought in the store would please this dragon so much that she wouldnʼt let him go until she got all the sweets.

”What are you waiting for?” the dragon asked. ”Give me these candies.”

”Donʼt tell me theyʼre over,” she added with a slight sneer.

”Come what may,” — Idan said to himself, taking out one of the candies. With that, he still has 7 pieces left.

”Here it is, a candy,” he said, showing a small sweet in an elegant wrapper.

”Graaa, graaa,” the dragon began to demand that he get the candy.

”Give me more,” the dragon demanded.

”That bastard!” — Idan thought, smiling a little. He was amused by the dragonʼs pampering, as well as the way the dragon seemed to love and pamper him very much. She decided to give him the first candy.

”Here,” Idan gave up and took out another one.

Under his gaze, the candies rose into the air under the influence of the dragonʼs ”Soul Force”, and one of them flew towards the little dragon. The graceful dragon opened its mouth, put the second one in its mouth, like the little dragon, without removing the wrapper, and began to chew.

The dragonʼs delicate face changed with each piece of candy, and then froze when she realized that the treat was over.

She blinked in surprise.

The taste was incredible, just as the boy had described it, and she looked at Idan a little puzzled. She didnʼt have time to enjoy it to the fullest, as it disappeared, and she wanted more.

”Itʼs really delicious,” she said, and as Idan had expected, she added, ”Is there more?”

”Thereʼs not much left,” Idan admitted.

”Give me more,” she demanded.

”Graaa, graaa,” of course, the little dragon, who also managed to finish his own, decided to take advantage of his motherʼs love and also asked for more.

”Give my boy one too,” said the dragon.

”And me,” a slightly rude male voice rang out, and two massive red eyes with vertical pupils opened not far from them.

Idan and the two dragons turned to those two eyes. Under Idanʼs surprised gaze, a huge dragonʼs head began to rise from the lava. At the same time, it began to shrink, and soon another dragon appeared in front of Idan. It was slightly larger than the graceful dragon and had a similar appearance, but it looked rougher and tougher.

”So this is Papa Dragon?” thought Idan in amazement. Then he turned around and looked at the graceful dragon and its cub, realizing that he was in the company of a real family of dragons.
