Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 774 - 775: Another deal?

”Beatrice Weiss,” — Darkia replied without further ado. ”A restaurant critic who is closely associated with the Royce family, which owns the restaurant business and controls the Federationʼs most famous restaurants.”

”Ouch!” — Arabel exclaimed, clutching her eyes in sudden pain as she tried to use the {Eye of Identification} to check on the woman and verify Darkiaʼs words.

[Attention! The {Eye of Identification} ability is temporarily unavailable].

”What the...”, — Arabel almost screamed as she listened to the Systemʼs explanation.

[The ability of the {Eye of Identification} has been restricted by a powerful being.]

[Since the {Eye Identification} ability not only has common progress between the two Hosts, but also common functions, after limiting this ability in your partner, it has become unavailable to you].

”Heh,” — Darkia chuckled, watching Arabelʼs suffering.

The pain wasnʼt severe enough to drive her crazy, but she lost her sight for a while.

”The restaurant critic? The Royce family?” — Arabel whispered, lifting her head and still not opening her eyes, but looking at Darkia with her Soul Force.

”Has she come for our girl? For Sofia?” she asked.

”Yes,” Darkia replied. ”Itʼs been almost three years since this world began to change, and with it the familiar lives of mortals.”

”You already know that technology has begun to combine with magic,” Darkia said, and Arabel nodded in agreement.

”The art of cooking, like technology, has undergone changes with the advent of evolved beasts, new resources, and ingredients. However, at the moment it has not achieved significant success.”

”Not only you, Arabel, have realized the potential of cooking in a new world, but also everyone involved in cooking,” Darkia continued. ”But unlike them, you have not only an advantage, but also an ability that all chefs in this world crave.”

”As one of the most influential families in the restaurant business, the Royce family has invested a lot of effort and money into exploring the culinary world of the new world. They are actively looking for talented chefs who can create dishes that fit this world, including awakened ones whose abilities relate to cooking.”

”As you can see, our girl has attracted their attention.”

”Given Sofiaʼs abilities, it was only a matter of time before she was noticed,” Arabel said. ”And judging by how often you come here and eat so many dishes, you agree with me, donʼt you?”

”Thatʼs not the word. I have never tasted food tastier than these,” Darkia confessed.

”Well, you havenʼt tried the cooking my husband makes yet,” Arabel chuckled, confident that her own cooking and Idanʼs, which had reached the third rank by now, were higher than Sofiaʼs.

”Arabel Morgan, I suggest we make a deal,” Darkia said, looking at Arabel, who was confident and full of love.

”Another deal?” asked Arabel, slightly surprised.

”Yes,” Darkia confirmed. ”Iʼll share with you all the information about those two restaurants, and you, in turn, will treat me to a meal prepared personally by your husband.”

”Well, do you agree to such a deal?” asked Darkia.

Arabel frowned slightly, thinking for a moment.

”Okay, I agree,” she said, making a decision.

”Thatʼs great,” Darkia said happily, clapping her hands.

After the deal was concluded, Darkia shared the information that she, or rather, the Eye of the Web, had gathered for her.

Some of the information turned out to be almost identical to what Leo had learned.

Apart from the two restaurants Leo mentioned, there were three more, totaling five establishments that had received the mysterious box from the mysterious young man.

”Even the Eye of the Web couldnʼt track his movements and doesnʼt know not only who he is, but also where he lives?” Arabel intervened to clarify.

”Thatʼs right,” Darkia confirmed. ”This Awakened one, as the Eye of the Web has found out, has the ability to teleport or, like you, a personal space where he hides.”

”After analyzing all the information, I came to the conclusion that perhaps this Awakened one has both. Otherwise, itʼs hard to explain how he delivers the ingredients through these boxes,” Darkia added.

”As for the ingredients, he just gets them from somewhere or personally grows everything himself.”

”So you think this young man has some kind of spatial farm?” asked Arabel.

”Itʼs quite possible, considering what kind of things he gets in return for his ingredients, and theyʼre all perfect for building and growing,” Darkia replied.

”And one more thing,” she added. ”Not only are we looking for him, but also...”

”Let me guess, the Royce family?” interrupted Arabel.

”Not only them, but also their competitors,” Darkia confirmed.

”And it looks like this awakened one doesnʼt want to deal with them,” she added.

”Why did you decide that?”

”Because all those five restaurants that he chose to collaborate with are owned by private individuals, not large restaurant chains.”

”No matter how the Royce family and others try to contact him, he is not responding.”

”There is information that the Royce family tried to get one of those mysterious boxes, but they did not succeed. Even attempts to communicate with him through letters sent through these boxes proved futile.”

”Heʼs quite interesting,” said Arabel, whose interest in this mysterious awakened only increased.

Arabel was delighted with the information she received from Darkia. This showed how experienced and talented the Eye of the Web was in the field of data collection. She hoped that Leo would achieve the same level of skill in the future.

”I will not interfere with your search, but I ask you not to do anything if you find him,” Arabel turned to Darkia.

”We have no conflicts with him, and given his caution, we would prefer to establish a relationship with him and conclude a deal for the supply of ingredients,” Arabel added. ”And if you want to try dishes made with these ingredients, then you should listen to my words.”

Darkia just scoffed at Arabelʼs request without saying a word.

After discussing the affairs of the two restaurants, Arabel turned her attention to Sofia.

”The Royce family will probably try to win her over,” Arabel said aloud. ”I wonder what she would choose if I invited her to join our guild right after them?”

”Heh, this girl, as soon as she came into my field of vision, had only two choices,” Darkia announced. ”Either she joins you, or I wonʼt let her go and take control of her.”

”Apart from these two options, she has no other option,” Darkia concluded.
