Chapter 769: Geminiaʼs guess about Beraʼs change.

”So thatʼs what happened,” Geminia said with a smile after listening to Arabelʼs explanation of the reasons for Beraʼs violent emotions.

”I didnʼt expect that this kind of memory would be the reason for Beraʼs changes,” she whispered softly, analyzing the situation.

”What?! What did you say? Has Bera started to change?” — Arabel did not miss Geminiaʼs words.

”Yes, Arabel, Bera has begun to change, just like Ned did in his time,” — Geminia nodded with a smile, and it was obvious that she was very happy about this.

Arabel was pleased at first, but then, remembering what kind of memories had caused the changes to begin, her eyes narrowed.

”And how will all this affect Bera?” she asked Geminia.

”Itʼs hard to say, thereʼs too little information,” Geminia admitted, not having a clear answer to this question.

”Wonʼt Bera become sexually preoccupied and lustful, wonʼt she?” Arabel jokingly asked, but when she saw Geminiaʼs gaze, the slight smile that appeared on her face disappeared.

”Bera is just starting to change, but I donʼt rule out the possibility,” Geminia explained the situation, looking at Arabelʼs reaction.

”Did Idan tell you about the origin of Bera and the other Doppelgangers?” Geminia suddenly asked, lost in thought about the situation Bera was in.

”No, I donʼt recall him mentioning that,” Arabel shook her head.

”I shared this just before Ned evolved, and after that he rushed to your aid,” Geminia recalled. Then she decided to tell Arabel about her origins, about the Formless Ones, and how other Doppelgangers are born.

Arabel, like Idan, listened to Geminiaʼs story with great interest, marveling at her story. She also began to worry a little, realizing that she and the others who had contracted with the Doppelgangers would have such potential formidable enemies once they became active in Junonia.

”As I mentioned earlier, the Formless ones are driven by the desire to help their partnerʼs chosen race continue the race. And procreation is impossible without copulation. Therefore, the Formless race has instincts and an irresistible desire to copulate with their partner,” Geminia shared.

”Huh? What?” — Arabel exclaimed upon hearing this. ”Youʼre not saying that...”

”Yes, even though Iʼm Uniqum, Iʼm not much different from the Formless ones. And, like them, I longed to find a mate and copulate with him or her in order to continue his or her line. But over time, I became disillusioned with my searches and the threats I faced, and even began to hate it all. Over time, I managed to curb all these impulses and get rid of this obsessive desire.”

”All my descendants, born by dividing from me, were born with suppressed desires,” Geminia honestly admitted. ”Unlike the Formless ones, they do not seek to find a partner and help in the continuation of the race.”

”Both Bera and Ned are no exception,” Geminia added.

”Thinking about the changes that Bera is going through right now, I assume that your memories of copulating, or whatever you call having sex with your husband, have awakened in her the instincts inherited from the Formless race.”

Arabel stared at Geminia in silence, wide-eyed, trying to make sense of what she had just heard. She was a smart woman and quickly realized where the conversation was heading.

”Knowing you, I can say for sure that you wonʼt like what Iʼm about to say,” Geminia said with a sigh, looking at Arabel.

”In a good way, you should let Bera experience everything she saw in your memories for herself,” she continued.

The surprise on Arabelʼs face was replaced by calmness, which soon turned into giggles, and then into hysterical laughter.

”Are you suggesting that I let Bera have sex with my husband?” she asked Geminia, laughing, with obvious displeasure and disgust in her voice.

Geminia nodded, making no secret of her agreement.

”Iʼm against it,” Arabel instantly refused, exuding displeasure and determination.

”My husband is only mine! Heʼs mine! And Iʼm not going to share it with anyone!” she announced.

Geminia, who knew this side of Arabel well, was not greatly surprised by her resolute refusal and even some of the hostility she felt towards her.

”Then thereʼs only one option left—to find a partner who will attract Beraʼs attention and satisfy her demands.”

”Considering that it was your memories and your husband that had such an impact on her, it will be difficult to find a partner who would not be inferior to Idan not only in appearance, but also in abilities.”

Arabel frowned and also began to think about who might be suitable for this role.

”What about Ned?” she couldnʼt help but ask when it came to the creature that reminded her of her husband more than anyone else.

Geminia shook her head.

”No Formless one will ever choose another Formless one as their partner, and therefore no doppelganger will be able to choose another doppelganger.”

”Even if Ned has evolved and become a separate being, he still has an origin not only from me, but also from the Formless.”

”Ah, itʼs not going to be easy,” Arabel quickly realized that finding the right partner for Behr might not be an easy task.

”Thatʼs true, but we canʼt rule out the possibility,” Geminia said. ”In the meantime, you should think about the first sentence. If you still donʼt want this, then itʼs better to keep Bera inside your star, and if youʼre going to let her out, then donʼt let her see Idan, so as not to make the situation worse until you find a suitable candidate for her.”

”Iʼm saying this because your memories have had a much stronger effect on her than you think, Arabel. These are not just changes that Bera has gone through before,” Geminia explained, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.

”Damn,” Arabel cursed, realizing the complexity of the situation. They had enough problems as it was, and now there was another one, and it was quite serious.

”What about Ned and the other doppelgangers who made a contract with Irene and the others?” she asked Geminia.

”Ned has already fully realized who he is, and his mind is not as vulnerable as the others. But I do not rule out that such memories may affect him, and he will also want to experience it for himself. Therefore, Idan will need to be warned to be careful about using the avatar ability,” Geminia replied.

”As for the rest, the risks are minimal. Unlike you, they donʼt have the ability like an avatar, which can share not only memories, but also feelings. But itʼs better to be safe and warn everyone in advance,” Geminia added, who was still happy to learn that her descendants have a possible future.

”Yes, I agree with that,” Arabel said with a sigh, acknowledging Geminiaʼs concerns.
