Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 757: The Agreement with the Dragons

What did a platinum-ranked resource mean to creatures like Papa Dragon and Mama dragon compared to these candies, which, after so many years of monotony, brought something new and incredible into their lives?

Yes, they both understood that it was just a treat that runs out quickly and it always seems like itʼs not enough. But it was something special for both of them. After a bit of thought, they came to the conclusion that paying for 10 of these candies was just 2 Platinum-ranked resources, not such a big sum considering that there were plenty of such resources in their personal lava lake.

Seeing that the dragons were deep in thought, Idan went over all the calculations in his head once more.

”The candies are worth 85 System Points, including the 15% discount we received from the Host of the Supreme Merchant System as a gift.”

”By selling corpses and Platinum-ranked resources to System, we get about 50 to 100 System Points.”

”I also noticed that on average, we get about 70-80 System points for selling Platinum-grade items, which is, of course, a little less than the cost of candies.”

Considering the current situation, Idan, after his calculations, decided to take advantage of the opportunity and earn a little extra System Points by setting a price for 10 candies in the amount of two Platinum-rank resources.

”This way, not only will we not incur losses, but we may even be able to get some System Points,” Idan mused, waiting for an answer.

”If we provide you with all the available resources, will we be able to get the same amount of candy for them?” asked Papa Dragon before giving an answer.

”Of course,” Idan readily confirmed.

”Any resources are suitable: artifacts, mana crystals or corpses of creatures — it doesnʼt matter, the main thing is the rank.”

”If you only pay with golden-ranked resources, then one pack of 10 candies will cost four such resources,” Idan continued.

”What about the diamond rank?” Mama dragon asked.

”The diamond one? Then one such resource will be enough,” Idan replied with confidence.

The two adult dragons exchanged a quick glance and finally came to an agreement.

”Okay, we agree and are ready to conclude a Soul Contract,” they announced.

”A Soul Contract?” wondered Idan, who had not expected such a proposal from the dragons. ”Okay, I agree, but before we conclude a contract, I want to clarify one point right away. Since Iʼm from another world, there may be situations where I wonʼt be able to appear for a while. And I donʼt want to suffer from a violation of the Soul Contract.”

”Hmm... well, we donʼt mind, but then youʼll have to compensate for these periods of absence with extra candies. The more youʼre away, the more candy youʼll owe us,” Papa Dragon suggested. ”But if your absence lasts too long, we have the right to consider that you have violated the contract.”

”I agree with that,” after thinking a bit, Idan agreed with that.

In the end, Idan reached an agreement with the dragons.

The dragons took the lead in paying, and depending on the amount they deposited, Idan was required to bring them candy once a week by Limbo time. If he didnʼt show up, he had to make up for it with extra candies from his pocket.

Idan asked what to do if one of the two Temples appeared in the Lava Lake, and the dragons suggested skipping this week and not counting it in the calculation.

The contract was considered violated if Idan did not bring candies for too long.

Idan also did not forget to mention that not only he personally can deliver candies, but also anyone on his behalf. The dragons, of course, were not against this condition and agreed.

The Soul Contract has been concluded.

”Oh, damn it, a Higher Realm Contract!” Idanʼs eyes widened in amazement when he realized that he had signed an epic rank contract (Rank 7).

”So I wonʼt be able to break it without consequences until I reach the Epic Rank (7th rank)?” — he thought, not excluding such a scenario.

Idan didnʼt know the exact cost of an Epic-rank Soul Contract, but he was sure it was very expensive in System Points.

”It should cost at least 10,000 System Points,” Idan thought, remembering that he and Arabel had paid 10,000 points to teleport a Rare-rank (Rank 6) creature from one world to another. They assumed that this was the maximum value limit for Rank 6 items.

This means that the cost of items of rank 7 should start from 10,000 points and above.

”And our second condition,” Papa Dragon reminded Idan after signing the Soul Contract.

”Weʼre tired of waiting and we want a change,” said Mama Dragon, and Idan, of course, understood her hint.

As far as Idan understood from Geminiaʼs words, the overseers didnʼt care who exactly would take over their Forbidden Zone — Nemo or someone else who would pass their trials and gain access to the Temple.

With these words, Mama dragon hinted to Idan to ask Nemo to conquer the Lava Lake or capture the Temple when it appears here.

”Why canʼt they create a barrier and say it straight?” Idan wondered, remembering how Geminia had done just that. ”Perhaps this is the reason why Limboʼs Mind has introduced new rules, and they avoid saying it directly?”

”Okay, donʼt worry about it, Idan,” he told himself, trying not to load his mind with thoughts that he wouldnʼt get an answer to.

Catching the expectant gaze of the two dragons, Idan nodded at them.

During the time he spent in this place, Idanʼs body was completely filled with energy and even began to become oversaturated. He felt that if he stayed here any longer, he would receive harm instead of benefit.

The power of the fire element in this place was too powerful for his current level.

Checking his body, Idan noticed something incredible that had escaped his attention.

The ring on his finger, which served as the key to entering the Kingdom and allowed him to drain the source of fire from the Kingdom when transforming into the ”Flame Spirit Form”, was currently actively absorbing the energy of the fire element from the environment.
