Chapter 594: Do you want me to get some ice?

“Is that why you asked Felicia for a plane? Do you want to find those to whom the threads point?” asked Irene, and when she saw Idan nod, she added, “Why didn’t you come to me? My guild has the same resources as the Red Foxes.”

“I know,” Idan replied. “It’s just that I’m giving Felicia the opportunity to earn merit points by giving her assignments.”

“What about me? How do I earn merit points?”

“Ha ha ha,” — Idan laughed. “You don’t need merit points, Sister. Tell me what you need, and if possible, I’ll get it for you without any questions or demands.”

“If I ask for bloodline change potions, will you get it for me for free?” asked Irene.

“Of course, I’ll get it for you for free,” Idan replied without hesitation. It wasn’t that expensive for him, and he was willing to spend so many System Points for his sister without regret.

Irene smiled, but then quickly shook her head.

“But it wouldn’t be fair to others,” she said.

“So what? You’re my sister, and you should have some privileges,” Idan wasn’t going to change his mind.

“Since we’re talking about merit, Sister, help me keep track of who has contributed how many points,” he asked.

“In the days leading up to the Disaster, I will probably be very busy, and it will be difficult for me to keep track of everything. Initially, I wanted to entrust this to Esme, but knowing that she is currently in Limbo and will most likely be busy opening her unusual store after returning, I doubt that she will take it up.”

“Eh, do you want to shift your responsibilities to me?” said Irene with a look of disappointment, but the smile on her face betrayed her true feelings.

“Okay, I’ll help you keep records,” she finally agreed.

For Irene, who was already in charge of her Guild, watching all the cases while staying at home during pregnancy gave her a wealth of experience. It wasn’t difficult for her to take over the management of her brother’s and sister-in-law’s Guild, of which she was now a part.

“You will help me a lot by taking this on yourself, Sister,” Idan confessed sincerely. “And I’ll try to come up with something that will help you simplify the process of accounting for merit.”

“Good,” Irene agreed, and soon the two of them completed their business in the capital and returned to the Kingdom.

However, as soon as they crossed the threshold of the house, Irene was abducted by Anna for a private conversation.

Richard and Arslan watched this scene with mild anxiety.

Richard was worried about his daughter-in-law, knowing his wife’s character.

Arslan was afraid that his mother might aggravate Irene’s attitude towards him with her questions.

After making sure Arabel hadn’t come out yet, Idan left the house and luxuriously settled into his favorite armchair.

“Woo-woo-woo” — suddenly his attention was attracted by the plaintive whining of a fox cub, which appeared next to him with tear-stained eyes and a lot of photos in its paws.

Idan, seeing Coco’s condition, felt his heart tighten. The little girl was in despair, but she stubbornly refused to accept the punishment.

In her paws were not only the usual photos of Arabel, but also her candid photos.

Idan swallowed hard. A contradiction was raging inside him. On the one hand, he wanted to teach Coco a lesson about not breaking other people’s boundaries and hurting them. On the other hand, he was not averse to getting those photos himself.

At that moment, remembering how much Coco had helped them in the other world by earning so many System Points, he almost gave up. He would have done so if he hadn’t noticed Arabel stagger slightly out of the bedroom.

“Woo-woo-woo,” — Coco whined plaintively.

Idan got up and went inside the house to meet Arabel. However, on the way, he purposely dropped something, pretending not to notice.

Coco, who was crying, noticed this and, seeing what had fallen, her eyes lit up. She immediately grabbed it and, looking at Idan’s back with a grateful smile, actively wagged her tail and disappeared.

Arabel slowly descended to the first floor, and when she saw Idan, she felt a slight panic, but she tried to smile.

“Hello.”

“Hi, how are you?” asked Idan, noticing her unusual condition.

“I’ve been better,” she replied, heading for the kitchen. She was terribly thirsty.

Idan, watching Arabel’s walk, remembered some moments related to Esma and Hayley, and he had an incredible hunch.

“Did the system really spank Belle as punishment?” he thought.

To test his guess, Idan came closer to Arabel on the left side and, when she wasn’t paying attention to him, lightly slapped her ass. That made her scream loudly.

“Fuck! Dan, what the hell are you doing?” Arabel exclaimed, almost falling, but regaining her feet, trembling all over.

“Tell me, Belle, did the system spank you that hard?” asked Idan.

“What? Oh… what are you talking about? Who… was spanked?” Arabel began to stutter and looked around in a panic so that no one would see her in such a state.

Seeing that Arabel didn’t want to admit the obvious, Idan sighed.

“Do you want me to get some ice?” he asked.

“Ice? Why do I need ice? I can do it myself…” Arabel began, but before she finished, she lowered her gaze.

“Yes, I need ice,” she whispered. “Can you get it for me?”

For a moment, Arabel forgot that the System had completely limited her cultivation as a punishment, making her mortal. Now, not only could she not use her power over the Kingdom, but also her other abilities, until all the pain had passed naturally.

“Okay, I’ll bring them to the bedroom,” Idan said and disappeared, leaving Arabel alone.

Arabel quickly quenched her thirst and took some food, almost cursing the system for restricting her access to the spatial ring. She hurried back to the bedroom, meeting no one on the way.

Soon Idan appeared in the bedroom and found Arabel in thin night clothes, lying face down on the bed with a red face from embarrassment.

“Why are you smiling like that?” she asked irritably.

“It’s just that I never thought that someone would spank you so much yourself,” Idan said laughing, taking out pieces of pure cold ice from the spatial ring.

Arabel was silent, but her red face spoke for itself.

“Can I help you?” Idan asked.

“Yes, please help,” Arabel replied without hesitation.

Idan quickly wrapped the ice cubes in clean cloths and, going over to Arabel, carefully applied them to her reddened round buttocks, which were visible even through her clothes.

“Ah!” Arabel moaned, feeling a chill on her burning ass, and clutched the underwear under her.

Caught off guard by her moan, Idan almost dropped everything he was holding onto her buttocks.
