Chapter 557: He’s mine this time

Idan kept his eyes on Arabel, who had just told him not to touch Christopher.

”This time he’s mine,” these words rang in his ears.

Arabel, on the other hand, was completely serious.

She was sitting astride Idan, staring intently into his eyes. And at that moment, her red hair began to turn white, and the temperature around her was rapidly dropping.

Arabel’s serious expression changed to a cold, aloof determination.

Idan’s brown eyes, also fixed on Arabel, turned red, and his black hair, like flames, began to turn red.

Looking at Idan in his transformation into the Alpha of Fire, a completely different, beautiful smile appeared on the face of the aloof and cold Arabel. A smile that Idan had been lucky enough to see only a couple of times during their entire acquaintance.

Riding Idan, Arabel felt the attraction of her bloodline to his bloodline stronger than ever. Unable to restrain herself, she kissed Idan without words. He returned her kiss with even more fervor than usual.

The lady and the flame swirled around them like a whirlwind, creating a small hurricane, which, however, could not destroy the furniture on the terrace.

If someone had been watching them at that moment, they would have seen a beautiful picture.

After a long and passionate kiss, Idan and Arabel finally stopped and looked at each other. There was desire in their eyes, but they were able to contain their emotions.

Arabel turned her gaze to Idan’s red hair, in which sparks of flame played, and without hesitation, she ran her fingers through it. Her pale face quickly turned red, feeling warmth and a whole new kind of pleasure.

Idan closed his eyes, enjoying the way Arabel’s cold fingers massaged his head, stroked his hair, relaxing him.

”Dan, do you remember what happened during our first ascension trial?” Arabel asked after enjoying Idan’s red hair to her heart’s content.

When Arabel’s cold fingers left his hair, Idan opened his eyes and stared at the snow-white beauty with a flushed face. He couldn’t look away, and for a moment he forgot what Arabelle had asked him.

”Dan?” — It wasn’t until Arabel called out to him that he remembered what he was going to say.

”Yes, I remember,” Idan replied.

”And I remember it very well too,” Arabel said with a smile. —And especially the very moment when we first met each other there.”

Idan, of course, also remembered this moment very well. Even if he wanted to, he wouldn’t forget it. The feeling of satisfaction he felt when holding the head of a certain person in his hands, and the moment when he finally saw Arabel in her Valkyrie form for the first time, remained forever in his memory.

”You know, when I saw you at that moment, the first thing I felt was surprise. And the second is disappointment,” Arabel said with a faint smile on her face.

”I was surprised to see how you destroyed the entire Hugh family residence, and disappointed when I saw Christopher’s head in your hands,” she confessed.

”It’s disappointing that it wasn’t me holding his head, but a completely different person.”

”The disappointment that even after the end of the ascension trial does not leave me alone.”

”It’s like an itch that’s there, but that I can’t scratch.”

”And it still haunts me and haunts me,” Arabel added.

”I think now you understand what I need to get rid of this?” she asked with a smile, leaning over and bumping her forehead into his.

”Yes, I understand,” Idan said with a small disappointed sigh.

”So, Dan, I’m asking you to forget about Christopher,” Arabel said. ”I know what he did to you and your loved ones during the ascension trial. But you already took revenge on him back then by killing and chopping off his head. You don’t have to do it again this time.”

”He’s mine this time,” — Arabel said.

Idan was clearly aware of how much Arabel wanted this. He also wanted to deal with Christopher.

Even the fact that he took revenge on him during the ascension trial did not calm Idan down. The thought that Christopher was alive and still living in this world haunted him.

Although the current Christopher, unlike the one during the ascension trial, had not harmed his sister and Ivette, Idan was sure that he was not much different from that version of himself.

Especially since Christopher is Arabel’s ex-fiance.

”Fine,” — Idan said.

”He’s yours,” seeing Arabel’s desire, Idan decided to limit himself to what he had already done to Christopher during the trial.

”Thank you,” Arabel thanked him and kissed him again.

”And forgive me for my selfish desire,” she said, pulling away from his lips. ”But I really need it.”

Arabel wasn’t lying. Recently, after returning to the capital, this nagging feeling of dissatisfaction, inherited along with the memories, had become stronger, irritating her.

Arabel kissed him again, seeing his displeasure. Idan decided to take advantage of this, feigning displeasure to enjoy her attention.

”Okay, okay, that’s enough,” he said after a dozen kisses from Arabel, feeling his emotions start to boil. He was afraid that he would not be able to restrain himself.

”Be careful, Belle, it’s very difficult for me to control my emotions in this form,” he warned with a fervent look. ”I might not be able to hold back and eat you.”

”Oh,” — Arabel said, pulling away and pretending to be scared.

”I’m not joking,” — Idan replied, and seeing that he was serious, Arabel materialized her wings and pulled away from him with one swing.

Both of them felt a deep emptiness when their bodies were separated, and at the same time they wanted to rush towards each other. But they were able to restrain themselves.

”It’s... it’s very dangerous,” — Idan said, and Arabel nodded in agreement.

They only came to their senses after they returned to their human form. Both were sweating profusely, with flushed faces.

Arabel hurried into the house to clean up, and Idan just laughed as he watched her go.

When Arabel disappeared from sight, Idan noticed a small fox with a camera on its paws out of the corner of his eye.

”Of course you’re here,” Idan shook his head and, knowing that Coco hadn’t received her punishment yet, decided to ignore her.

Idan decided to forget about the chain task requirement of the System for a while and focus on reaching the southern border.

At the same time, he wanted to wait for three days to finally go on a long-awaited Candlelit Dinner date with Arabel.

And those three days flew by in an instant.
