Chapter 592: Threads of the One Blood

------------------------

**Identification:**

Name: Threads of the One Blood

Rarity: Rare

Quality: Daimond

**Description**

The ”Threads of One Blood” artifact is a round—shaped artifact with a red crystal in the center. Its purpose is to find and show the user’s closest blood relatives: parents, brothers, sisters, and children.

**Abilities:**

*Blood recognition*. To activate the artifact, the user’s blood is needed — just one drop. After activation, a network of red threads appears from the center of the crystal, which extend into the air. The number of threads indicates the number of closest blood relatives.

Additional information 1: The artifact takes into account only living blood relatives and does not record the deceased.

Additional Information 2: One drop of blood activates the artifact for one minute. A new dose of blood is needed for reactivation.

*Location detection*. The direction of the threads indicates the location of a blood relative, and their thickness indicates the distance to the target: the thicker the thread, the closer the target is.

------------------------

Idan examined the artifact he had bought for 5,000 System Points again. Of the 22,000 points given to him by the Hosts of the other Supreme Systems, only half now remained.

But it was worth it, Idan thought, not at all regretting his purchase.

With the help of this artifact, he could learn not only about the fate of his blood father, but also about his adopted one. After all, not only he himself could use it, but also his sister, Irene, to finally find out the fate of her father.

”Well, let’s see what you show me,” Idan said, making an incision on his finger and dripping his blood onto the crystal.

When a drop of blood fell on the crystal, it shone with a red light, and thin red threads began to appear from its center, which scattered in two different directions.

”Why the hell are there so many of them?” exclaimed Idan in surprise, examining at least six red threads.

Idan couldn’t believe his eyes and decided to check the description of the artifact again. It was clearly stated that the artifact was able to identify only the closest relatives — the parents, that is, the father and mother. As far as Idan knew, he had no brothers or sisters, let alone children.

”If my mother were alive, then there should be only two bloody threads, not six,— Idan thought. ”Does this mean that I have at least four more siblings?” he asked himself.

”Four of the six threads point to the east, and they are very thin, which indicates a great distance. However, the remaining two are facing west, and they are thicker, which indicates that they are closer,” Idan, still in shock, checked the threads before the artifact’s activation time ended.

”Ivette is sure that my own mother Inessa is dead. Does this really mean that my father, who abandoned my mother many years ago, managed to have five children with another woman during that time?” thought Idan, unable to find another explanation for the appearance of so many red threads.

The more he thought about it, the more convinced he was that he was right, and it was starting to annoy him.

Massaging his right temple and looking at the artifact until the red threads disappeared, Idan decided to change his travel plans to the south and head west to figure out who was behind these two threads.

After removing the artifact, Idan, transformed into the Alpha of Fire, spread his wings and soared into the sky. Then, he rushed in the direction where the two red threads closest to him were pointing.

When the sun was almost below the horizon, Idan took out the artifact and, dripping blood on it, checked the red threads again. He noticed that two of them had become even thicker, indicating that he was getting closer to his targets.

Deciding to postpone further travel until tomorrow, Idan returned to the Kingdom.

To his surprise, neither Arabel nor Anna and Richard were in sight.

After scanning the Kingdom, Idan discovered that the right bedroom on the second floor and the guest room on the first floor was protected from any surveillance and intrusion.

”It seems that Belle’s parents have occupied the guest room, and Belle herself is probably in the bedroom on the second floor,” — Idan quickly guessed. He remembered that Arabel was supposed to receive punishment from the System during the day, and assumed that was exactly what she was doing.

The others, he noticed, were absorbed in their own business. Due to Arabel’s absence, Idan took over her duties of cooking dinner for the doppelgangers and for the entire unusual family.

Emily was very happy and, taking advantage of Arabel’s absence, stuck to Idan, like her sister Ashley, without leaving his side during cooking.

Edgar just sighed as he looked at his younger sisters and constantly apologized to Idan.

Almost everyone came to dinner, except Arabel.

Everyone immediately noticed how Anna was beaming with joy, while Richard looked very tired, but with a satisfied smile he was holding his back.

After dinner, Idan asked Irene to come with him, used the permanent Access Portal and returned to the capital in search of Felicia. Possessing the bloodline of a Spatial Fox, but not yet fully transformed into one, Felicia quickly appeared in front of them.

”Felicia, I need a plane, and the fastest one,” Idan laid out his demand.

”There’s one available in the capital right now, you can take it,” she replied calmly.

”I need a plane, but not here and not now. Can you send one of them here, to one of these cities? Right now, I can’t say exactly which one, but tomorrow, closer to lunch, I’ll find out,” Idan replied, pointing on the map to his approximate location and the three cities that were on his route.

Idan did not yet know which of these three cities the threads would lead him to. His plan was to check the threads, then take a plane and head east in search of the other four.

”Okay, I’ll do it,” Felicia nodded.

”And don’t worry, it will also be considered as your contribution,” Idan assured, which, of course, pleased Felicia.

”How is the gathering of the Beast Soul Flowers progressing?”

”Quite successfully, the first batch will be delivered in a couple of days.”

”Great.”

”My girls have also started harvesting flowers, and the results will be available soon,” Irene reported.

After they discussed all the issues, Idan released Felicia. When he was alone with Irene, he took out the ”Threads of the One Blood” artifact and handed it to her.
