Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 565: Main dish

”I wonder how she was able to lose her original System and become the Host of a completely different System?” Idan voiced his thoughts.

”I was curious too, but no matter how many times I ask, the System remains silent,” Arabel explained after hearing Idan’s words. ”Especially considering how the System warned that if we did not fulfill its conditions, it would leave us, and that another System would never accept those who were rejected by the previous one as a Host.”

”Yes, that’s true, but at that time we didn’t know anything about the Systems, perhaps there are some conditions or rules regarding this,” Idan added.

While the couple were having this conversation, there was a new clink, and all the empty dishes, used cutlery, and glasses disappeared with a sound effect.

Then the music started playing, and a small booklet and a round sticker materialized on the empty table in front of each of them.

”Oh!” — leaving all other thoughts, Idan and Arabel took the booklet and began to study it.

There were several images and descriptions of dishes in the booklet, and at the bottom of each of them was a blank field corresponding to the size of the sticker.

”It seems that this is the main dish, and we need to put a sticker under the dish that we choose,” Idan said, carefully studying the booklet.

Just looking at the images of the dishes made Idan’s mouth water, but the most amazing thing was that he couldn’t find out what kind of dishes they were. Even the ingredients were unknown to him.

After carefully studying the booklet, Idan and Arabel chose the dish, which they identified according to two criteria.: its image and description. Then they attached stickers to the selected dish.

Listening to the slow music and remembering the recent images Idan had seen while eating appetizer, he looked at Arabel. She was also looking at him, and from her expression, Idan could tell that she wanted to say something, but was holding back.

”Do you want to dance?” he asked, pleasantly surprising Arabel.

Idan did not realize that Arabel, like him, remembered those images and their first dance while listening to music. She wanted to invite him to dance while they were waiting for their chosen dishes. But then she restrained herself, remembering that Idan couldn’t dance.

The way he asked her to dance himself surprised Arabel very much, and she immediately agreed with a nod.

Getting up from his seat and approaching Arabel, Idan held out his hand, inviting her to dance.

Surprised and delighted, Arabel gladly accepted the invitation and stood up. They moved away from the table.

Just like before, with every step they took, ripples of waves of light formed under their feet.

As if on cue, the music stopped when Idan and Arabel faced each other.

Idan, who had already had his first experience dancing with Arabel, confidently approached her. He placed his right hand in the middle of her back, and with his left hand he took her right hand and looked into her eyes with a smile.

In response, Arabel put her left hand on his shoulder and, unlike their first dance, clung to him. At that moment, they were alone, without prying eyes, and there was no need to hide their relationship and feelings.

When the music started, Arabel, more experienced than before, started moving, and Idan followed her. Almost immediately, Arabel noticed a significant difference in their dancing compared to their first time, especially in Idan’s movements.

”Did you learn to dance?” she asked Idan in a whisper.

”I’ve been taking small lessons from my sister for the last three days,” Idan confessed.

As the one who planned this evening, Idan not only spent these days hunting animals, but also carefully prepared for this evening.

Arabel’s face lit up with a wide, satisfied smile when she realized that Idan had been preparing for this evening and was even learning how to dance.

With their eyes closed, they were completely immersed in their feelings, not caring how well they danced. Their bloodlines, the Ice Valkyrie and the Alpha of Fire, resonated with each other, strengthening their mutual affection.

Immersed in their emotions, they did not notice how the music came to an end. But even without the music, they continued dancing until they stopped and opened their eyes to look at each other.

And right after that, they kissed. This kiss was more sensual and prolonged than the previous ones.

When they finally broke away from each other and looked into each other’s eyes again, they both heard a familiar ringing.

When they turned to the table, they saw that the dishes were ready, and they returned to their seats with smiles, full of satisfaction.

After taking their seats, Idan and Arabel waited impatiently for the lids of the plates to be opened.

And finally, under a flash of light that blinded them, the lids disappeared, revealing the beautifully served dish they had chosen. Their noses immediately caught the rich and alluring fragrance.

Remembering how amazing the appetizer was, Idan and Arabel also expected something special from the main dish.

They looked at each other, understanding each other’s thoughts without words, and, taking up the dishes, began to eat.

As soon as the first bite of the main course was in their mouths, they felt something similar to what they felt during the appetizer, but brighter and more intense.

And as expected, both saw the images again, but this time they were focused on their partner and started from the moment they were in Limbo.

Throughout their stay in Limbo, Idan and Arabel were almost always by their side. They mostly saw almost identical images, with slight differences in details.

When Idan and Arabel looked at these images, they noticed things that they had not previously paid attention to each other. This time they lived these days with great pleasure, again paying more attention to their partner.

After Limbo, they saw what happened in the Capital. The difference came when they decided to split up.

Arabel saw Idan’s memories, where he went off alone to take control of his bloodline. And Idan saw Arabel’s memories, where she and Esma went to meet Irene at her house.

This, of course, came as a big surprise to both of them, and they stared at each other with their eyes wide open.
