Chapter 430: Disclosure of information about changes in bloodlines

In front of Milica and the others, Idan’s bloodline changed from Alpha of Fire to Alpha of Light, and the bloodline of the Ice Valkyrie Arabel turned into the Dark Valkyrie.

Sierra almost jumped in surprise when she saw Arabel in the form of a Dark Valkyrie.

Lucinda, in turn, stared at Idan in his new guise as the Alpha of Light, as if mesmerized. As with his Lumiar bloodline, Idan’s Alpha of Light bloodline seemed to attract her, making her tremble from proximity to the element of light.

”Have you replaced your second bloodlines with new ones?” asked Milica.

Unlike the Valkyries, the others weren’t as impressed that Idan and Arabel had received new bloodlines to replace the old ones. They were already used to the fact that a couple could have more than one pedigree, and the news of the acquisition of a new one did not surprise them. Especially since the new bloodlines they received were just a variation of the one they already have.

”Well, you could say that, but there are some nuances,” Arabel said with a smile.

”And what exactly is this nuance?” — Sierra quickly regained her composure and asked with some impatience. Now that Arabel has a Dark Valkyrie bloodline like hers, she has become even closer to Sierra. It became especially appropriate to address Arabel as a younger sister.

Not wanting to keep them in the dark any longer, Arabel changed her appearance again, this time becoming a Mad Valkyrie. Her hair and eyes turned purple-pink, symbolizing the energy of madness.

”The energy of madness?” Geminia raised an eyebrow, startled by Arabel’s new appearance.

”What the hell is this?” exclaimed Sierra.

”Huh?” — Arabel, surprised by Sierra’s reaction, was slightly taken aback. Then she spread her four sparkling wings, filled with the energy of madness, and said with a slight hesitation: ”The Mad Valkyrie.”

”The Mad Valkyrie? How is this possible?”—Sierra, being a Valkyrie of the legendary rank, had never heard of the existence of such a sister before.

At that moment, Lucinda, no less stunned, was looking at Arabel, who had taken on the appearance of a completely new kind of Valkyrie for her.

Idan joined the others and admired Arabel’s new, third appearance.

The Ice Valkyrie’s appearance had been beautiful in his eyes before, and her coldness and aloofness gave her a special charm. But now his girlfriend had two more new looks, and each of them, as he could tell at first glance, was different from her true self and from the appearance of the Ice Valkyrie.

At the same time, Idan remembered that he hadn’t used his winnings in the bet yet. According to the terms of the bet, Arabel was supposed to serve him as a maid for a whole day in the guise of an Ice Valkyrie.

Seeing Arabel in a new image, his imagination ran wild, and for a moment he allowed himself to think about more intimate and dirty things.

”The third bloodline?” — Milica was surprised that the couple already had a third pedigree. ”Valkyrie again?”

”As I said before, Master, there is a slight difference from before,” Arabel shook her head. ”At first glance, it might seem like I have a third bloodline and have chosen the Valkyries again, but that’s not the case.”

Seeing the interest and silence of the audience, Arabel continued: ”After losing our second bloodlines, our ability to have multiple bloodlines has two paths of development.”

”The first is to get rid of the remainder of our second bloodline and then replace it with a new one.”

”The second is to try to combine our first bloodline with the remnants of the second, thereby changing our first bloodline,” Arabel explained.

”And you chose the second one?” Milica and the others had already guessed what Arabel was leading up to.

Arabel nodded.

”Yes, we chose the second option. To implement the first one, it would take too much time to get everything back to its previous state. And in the second case, although there were risks of losing all the bloodlines, there was an opportunity to discover something amazing.”

”And as you can see, everything worked out for us,” Arabel concluded. ”In the process, my affinity for the element of Darkness and my ability to control the Energy of Madness allowed me to create two new forms for my first bloodline.”

Everyone was looking at Arabel as if she were a monster. Then they turned to Idan.

”Is that the case with you too?” — Milica asked, and Idan nodded openly, confirming her words.

”Look what you did to them,” Idan said with a laugh, addressing Arabel through a mental link.

”Sooner or later they would have found out anyway. We already keep most of our secrets related to the System a secret. It may seem natural at first, but the longer we interact, the more questions will arise,” Arabel replied to Idan.

”I’m afraid that our excessive secrecy may negatively affect our relationship with all of them. I wouldn’t like to be kept in the dark all the time.”

”I fully share your concerns, Belle,” Idan replied. ”That’s why I decided to tell everyone here about the opportunities we have. In particular, about the functions of ”Trade” and ”Alchemy”, without revealing the existence of the System.”

Arabel’s eyes lit up.

”It’s about time!” she exclaimed, fully approving of Idan’s suggestion.

Arabel was aware of how valuable and promising their ”Trade” function was. It would be unwise to use it just for yourself. In addition, they could become intermediaries by selling products from this function to earn the System Points they need and help those who are close to them and share their views.

The same can be said about their ”Alchemy” function. Although they didn’t have any other recipes at the moment, except for one, this feature had great prospects. What was the cost of being able to create potions that could improve the quality of bloodlines!

Although the only recipe available was intended only for them, Idan and Arabel were sure that there were others that would suit others as well.

In the eyes of the couple, this opportunity might not seem so valuable, but they both understood that many residents of Junonia would give anything to get such potions.

After the initial surprise passed, Idan and Arabel continued to answer everyone’s questions about their bloodline. They did not disclose all the details about what other Alpha and Valkyrie bloodlines might gain as they rose in rank, leaving this information for later.

In itself, the appearance of the Mad Valkyrie and Idan’s confirmation that he had acquired the form of the Alpha of Madness was a great discovery for everyone. Even Geminia was pleasantly surprised when she found out that, in addition to her race of Doppelgangers, there were two more races that had an affinity for the energy of Madness.

”By the way, how is your study of the ”Path of the Beast Tamer” manual progressing? Have you managed to create a second Beast Soul?” Idan asked. ”And, if it’s not a secret, did everyone manage to sign a contract with the Doppelgangers and where are they now?”
