Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 420: Okay, System, I agree

[The System informs you that it has received an offer from the ”Supreme Bloodline System”, which, after learning about your problems, invited you to participate in its experiments on merging bloodlines].

Idan and Arabel were already aware that the Supreme Systems had their own way of communicating.

Previously, they had already received a task from the ”Supreme Blacksmith System” to collect a collection of Sacred Weapons and Dark Weapons.

Idan was puzzled, ”How the hell did the Supreme Bloodline System find out about the problems of our bloodlines? System, did you notify it?”

[This System has only turned to the ”Supreme Bloodline System” for advice on solving the problems the Hosts are facing. After all, this function was derived from it, and as the one who provided this opportunity, it knows the solution to your problem better than this System].

Idan nodded, agreeing with the System. As the System said, their ”Bloodlines” function was obtained specifically from the ”Supreme Bloodline System”.

”So, then the ”Supreme Bloodline System” offered two options?” - he asked.

[Yes], came the reply.

”Hmm... System, which of these two options would you recommend to us?” Idan said thoughtfully.

[Both options], the System replied.

[The first option is a safe way to return everything to its original state. However, it requires a lot of time and System Points to remove the remnants of the old Bloodline and restore the slot.]

[The second option is experimental and risky. There is a possibility of complete loss of the bloodline slot and damage to the first bloodline. There is also a risk of losing the ”Bloodline” function itself. But there are also some chances for unexpected benefits.]

”Judging by your words, the second option seems to be completely unprofitable, there are only disadvantages,” Idan remarked. ”And also: is it paid or free? Do we need to pay with System Points or not?”

[Considering the risks, Supreme Bloodline System offers its services for free. It’s not interested in System points; it’s satisfied with the results it gets.]

Idan thought about it.

”There is very little time left before the third Disaster, and Arabel and I need to be prepared for it. Besides, the problems with outsiders are still unresolved,” he said in his mind.

”The disappearance of the Queen will not solve this problem. Perhaps this will only make the situation worse.”

”Also, don’t forget about the power behind Kraus.”

”System, could you find out exactly what we should do and what advantage we would gain if we accepted Supreme Bloodline System’s offer?”

[Wait a minute]

Before finally deciding whether to accept the Supreme Bloodline System’s offer or not, Idan decided to find out the details.

[Host...]

The system, as requested by Idan, provided him with some additional information. After some consideration, Idan finally decided to choose the second option.

”Those who don’t take risks don’t drink champagne,” he said, remembering an old saying.

”Okay, System, I agree to the Supreme Bloodline System’s suggestion,” Idan stated decisively.

[OK] — the System replied.

[Host, your partner has also agreed to the Supreme Bloodline System’s proposal], the System added.

”Did Arabel choose this option too?” wondered Idan. ”Did she make that decision on her own?”

[Like you, your partner independently came to this decision after the System shared with her the details received from the Supreme Bloodline System]

”Hmm... fine then, — Idan nodded.

Idan, turning to Lucinda, noticed her gaze. He understood that she probably had a lot of questions for him.

”I know you have a lot of questions, but let’s put them aside for later. I’ll explain everything as soon as we get back to the Temple,” Idan said bluntly.

Lucinda, surprised, froze at first, but then, smiling, nodded in agreement.

Lucinda really wanted to ask a lot of questions. She was particularly interested in where Idan got the potion he had just drunk from.

After hearing that he would explain everything after returning to the Temple, she not only stopped her questions, but also felt some relief. Lucinda realized that Idan was probably ready to share some of the secrets he shared with Arabel, since he decided to get everyone together first.

After solving the issue with Lucinda, Idan, standing waist-deep in lava, closed his eyes and began to transform into the Alpha of Fire. Despite the fact that his second bloodline was lost, the process took place without any difficulties, and Idan immediately felt the surge of the tremendous power of the fire element emanating from the lava surrounding him.

Idan opened his arms, enjoying the power, and took a deep breath. He then proceeded to assume his Spirit Form. His body began to change again, and the rate of absorption of the fire element increased many times.

Soon, his body completely transformed, taking on a form composed solely of fire.

As soon as Idan fully entered his Spirit Form, he felt the gaze of a powerful being upon him.

Lucinda, who was looking at his Spirit Form with some envy, also noticed this look and shuddered at the power emanating from it.

Idan also turned his attention to this look, but then realized that there was no evil intent in it. Idan caught only curiosity in that look. No longer paying attention to that gaze, Idan focused on gathering the dark clumps of energy that were scattered all over his body.

In his Spirit Form, Idan easily detected the remnants of a rank six creature’s energy, which was draining his strength.

Before starting to solve the problems related to his second bloodline, Idan decided to deal with this problem.

Slowly, he began to gather the clumps of energy into one big clot. This process required a lot of time and concentration from him. But as soon as he managed to put all the pieces together, the System took over.

A mysterious force enveloped the dark clot, and then, right in front of Idan and Lucinda’s eyes, the dark clot disappeared.

Idan was a little surprised, but Lucinda almost fell off the rock she was sitting on.

Slowly, he began to gather the clumps of energy into one big blob. This process required a lot of time and concentration from him. Once he managed to put all the pieces together, the System took matters into its own hands.

A mysterious force enveloped the dark clot, and right in front of Idan’s eyes, the black clot of energy of a Rank 6 creature disappeared. It was as if she had been taken and erased from existence.

Then a notification came from the System.

[The energy of a Rank 6 creature is sealed for possible future use]

When this energy disappeared from his body, Idan felt an invisible but heavy weight fall from his shoulders. He felt such freedom that he could not describe in words.

After standing for a while, Idan pulled himself together and, without hesitation, told the System:

”System, I’m ready for the Supreme Bloodline System’s offer.”
