Chapter 426: The effect of creatures of Darkness and Light on Valkyries.

Everyone was eagerly watching Sierra and her attempt to connect with the creature of Darkness. It hadn’t been long since she enveloped the sphere of light with her power of darkness, and there was already a satisfied smile on her face.

”Success!” she exclaimed, and strange inscriptions appeared on her body, which were already familiar to Idan and Arabel. However, they disappeared as quickly as they appeared.

Sierra closed her eyes, lost in thought.

”By the way, I wanted to ask you, Belle,” Idan addressed Arabel through a mental link, without taking his eyes off Sierra. ”When you’re in your normal form, like now, what happens to a creature of darkness?”

”It’s sleeping,” — Arabel replied. ”It only awakens and becomes active when I use the element of Darkness. The rest of the time it sleeps.”

”Hmm... interesting...” muttered Idan.

At that moment, Sierra’s long black hair began to show signs of life.

Then Sierra abruptly opened her eyes and looked at Arabel with undisguised shock.

”Is something wrong?” — Arabel asked anxiously, looking at Sierra’s shocked face. In all the time she had known Sierra, Arabel had rarely seen her sworn older sister in such a state.

Sierra didn’t immediately respond. She quickly regained her composure, and her mood returned to normal.

”Amazing,” she said, as her hair began to move at will.

Everyone watched her manipulating her hair with undisguised interest.

Sierra, having tested her new ability to control her hair, looked at Arabel again and asked with some doubt:

”Tell me, little sister, do you need this creature of Light yourself?”

Arabel turned to Idan when she heard Sierra’s question. He, in turn, looked at her.

”I thought that since I was able to establish a connection with a creature of Darkness due to my proximity to the element of darkness, Dan would also be able to establish a connection with a creature of Light, because he has an affinity for the element of Light,” Arabel replied, turning to Sierra. And immediately added: ”But Dan himself is not particularly eager to establish a connection with a creature of Light.”

”If that’s the case, can you pass it on to the Blonde?” Sierra asked, surprising both Arabel and Lucinda, who had only been watching what was happening.

”I want to make sure of something,” Sierra added.

Arabel turned back to Idan, waiting for his opinion.

”It’s up to you,” he told her.

Arabel glanced at Lucinda, who, noticing her gaze, smiled awkwardly.

Although Arabel agreed with Idan’s suggestion that she be able to transfer the being of Light to Lucinda, deep down she felt some resistance.

She didn’t like Lucinda very much, especially after what she had said to Idan last time: ”Idan, if things don’t work out with our younger sister or she leaves you, you can always come to me.”

Arabel closed her eyes. She understood that this was just a manifestation of her obsessions and jealousy.

With a deep sigh of reluctance, Arabel took out a sphere of darkness from her magic bag, inside which a bright ball of light pulsed. With some reluctance, she held it out to Lucinda.

”Are you sure about this?” asked Lucinda, staring intently at Arabel. She knew that she didn’t endear herself to her younger sister, and she understood why she was so reluctant to give her this creature of Light.

”To be honest, I don’t really like you, big sister,” Arabel said bluntly. ”Especially after the words you said to Dan last time.”

”Ahahaha, — Lucinda burst out laughing after hearing Arabel’s words.

Arabel frowned. She didn’t like Lucinda’s laugh.

”Ah, little sister,” Lucinda said with a smile. ”I will not go back on my words from earlier.”

”Understand, little sister, I have expressed my position directly, without hiding anything from you,” she added. ”I also made it clear to you that until you destroy your relationship with Idan and leave him, I will not take any action against him, either openly or covertly.”

”You can forget about this possibility, don’t even hope, big sister,” Arabel said with a serious expression on her face. ”I won’t give you even a hint of such a prospect.”

”Hehe, I hope so, little sister,” Lucinda replied with a smile, accepting the sphere of darkness and casting a glance at Idan, who was also smiling awkwardly after hearing their conversation.

Taking the sphere of darkness in her hands, Lucinda studied it with special attention. Then, like Sierra, under the gaze of the others, she enveloped the sphere with her power of light.

The sphere of darkness instantly cracked, releasing the imprisoned creature of Light.

Like Sierra, Lucinda quickly established a connection with this creature and closed her eyes.

Faint multiple lines of light appeared on her body, which soon disappeared, similar to the inscriptions on Sierra’s body.

Lucinda’s blond hair shone, and she seemed to be wrapped in a mysterious halo. Everyone who looked at her felt as if there was a majestic and pure being standing in front of them.

Then she, like Sierra, suddenly opened her eyes with an expression of deep shock on her face.

”This... this...” she said, unable to find the words. She quickly looked from Arabel to Sierra, seeking support.

Seeing her surprise, Sierra nodded with a smile.

”Did you feel it too?” asked Sierra, addressing her.

Lucinda slowed her pace slightly and nodded.

”What’s going on?” Arabel finally asked, expressing the general desire of everyone present.

”Little sister, you have no idea what a priceless gift you have given us,” Sierra said with undisguised joy.

Lucinda nodded again, agreeing with Sierra’s words.

”These creatures of Darkness and Light are not only useful to us, but also have the ability to suppress our flaws,” Sierra shared her discoveries.

”It’s hard to say yet whether they completely eliminate our flaw or if it’s just a temporary effect, but right now I don’t feel its effect at all,” she added.

”Me too,” Lucinda agreed.

Everyone inside the Temple was aware of the flaws of the Valkyries. And, of course, the news that creatures brought from another world could suppress this flaw shocked them.

As it was known, the Valkyries’ development was slowed down the most by attempts to overcome their flaw after each rank increase. And the time they spent on it directly depended on the abilities of each Valkyrie.

Now that these creatures could suppress this flaw, Lucinda and Sierra no longer had to worry about it. They could fully focus on their advancement and strive to break through to the next rank.

Although this news made the two Valkyries happy, they were well aware that in order to take advantage of this opportunity, they had to leave Limbo first.

And they both understood that this chance to leave Limbo depended on this couple: Idan and Arabel, and Nemo as well.
