Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 403: Battle against two Diamond-ranked beings

Idan, having attacked Erza with spears of light, realized that his attacks were not strong enough to destroy a being like Erza.

Due to the unusual situation where the suppression of the world was weakened, Erza’s rank was not suppressed to the fullest extent. Idan was aware that his and Arabel’s attacks, even though they were Platinum-ranked, could not instantly destroy a real Diamond-ranked being.

Idan found out that with each increase in rank, the difference between the ranks becomes more noticeable.

If earlier, being of the silver rank, they could easily defeat creatures of the Golden rank, now, having reached the Platinum rank, Idan was not sure that he could also easily cope with beings of the Diamond rank.

As he was about to attack, Idan, while in the sky, suddenly noticed a bright flash of light that rushed towards Arabel, who was standing on the ground.

”Belle!”, — Idan shouted, trying to warn Arabel.

Idan even tried to use his unique ”swap” skill, but it didn’t work without Arabel’s consent.

Idan froze when he saw that Arabel, having hesitated, could not completely avoid the attack.

A beautiful woman with long blonde hair, dressed like a priestess, appeared from the flash of light. There were obvious fluctuations coming from her, characteristic of a Diamond-ranked being. She was holding a long, shining spear in her hands, which pierced Arabel from behind, in the area of her left shoulder.

Idan, who no longer suffered from uncontrollable rage after gaining full control of his Alpha of Fire bloodline and was almost always clear-minded, could not contain his emotions after seeing Arabel injured.

A huge wave of madness energy burst out of his body. One of the two rings of light behind him was completely dyed in the color of this energy. His eyes and blond hair turned purple-pink.

”Swap”, — Idan spoke to Arabel through a mental link, and she did not resist.

The Guardian of Light, who was preparing to attack Arabel, was surprised to see how the girl she had injured disappeared, and in her place appeared the same guy who had an affinity with the element of light. However, what she saw was a completely different being.

”Die!” exclaimed Idan, launching attacks at the Guardian of Light, suddenly appearing in Arabel’s place.

The Guardian of Light was only slightly surprised, turning into a flash of light with a smile and deftly dodging his wave of blows.

Then, completely ignoring Idan, she shot into the sky, where Arabel appeared, aiming at her again.

Arabel, falling from heaven, enduring the pain, decided to assume her true form of her second bloodline.

”Screeeee!” came the piercing cry of the phoenix, and Arabel transformed into a black bird of prey with huge wings sparkling with shades of flame. Her head was decorated with a crest of black feathers.

In this form, Arabel combined incredible grace and terrifying strength, making her both beautiful and formidable.

The Guardian of Light, who was aiming to attack Arabel, looked at the Dark Phoenix in surprise. Then, an undisguised disgust appeared on her face, and her eyes flashed with a cold gleam.

Boom!

Suddenly, something fast and strong, preventing the Guardian of Light from reaching Arabel, hit her with such force that she collapsed to the ground.

Boom!

An explosion thundered from the impact on the ground, and a huge crater formed at the place where the Guardian of Light fell, which was covered with a cloud of dust.

Idan caught up with the Guardian of Light and with a powerful blow forced her to fall to the ground. However, he wasn’t going to stop there.

Behind him, two rings filled with two different energies were spinning at an incredible speed. They let out a hum, creating a huge force formed from the fusion of the element of Light and the Energy of Madness.

A huge number of sparkling purple-pink spears began to appear around him, aiming at the Guardian of Light. At the same time, Arabel, in the form of a Dark Phoenix, began to gather a huge amount of the element of darkness around her.

After falling to the ground, the Guardian of Light quickly regained consciousness and, seeing the attacks directed at her, created several layers of shields of light around herself.

Then, Idan and Arabel, without hesitation, directed their attacks at the Guardian of Light, completely ignoring their first target. By that time, Erza had already risen and was watching them with a cold gleam in her eyes and a predatory smile.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Blow after blow, the attacks of Idan and Arabel rained down on the Guardian of Light like a hurricane.

The attacks followed one after another, breaking her shields.

With each new breach, the cold gleam in the Guardian of Light’s eyes wavered slightly, and sparks of fear flashed through them.

But before Idan and Arabel could finish their attacks, a mysterious black barrier enveloped the hill where the Stone family’s domain was located and its surroundings. He locked up everyone who didn’t manage to escape, including Esma and the others who were at the very edge of the barrier.

[Hosts, the rules of this world have been rewritten. The space was sealed, and all teleportation-related abilities were banned.]

”Ah-ha-ha-ha!”— when the barrier was finally erected, Erza burst into loud laughter, attracting everyone’s attention to herself. Her appearance was terrible: part of the skin on her face was torn and barely holding on, and numerous wounds could be seen on her body, from which dark blood oozed.

Laughing, Erza noticed that everyone was looking at her and took out a black stone from her spatial storage.

”No way!” — Idan exclaimed when he saw this familiar stone.

”Oh yes!” said Erza with a wide smile, breaking the black stone she had just taken out.

As soon as the stone split, a mysterious wave swept through the area, which engulfed everyone inside the barrier.

”Damn it!” — Idan exclaimed as a wave of energy crashed over him and he completely lost control of his body. A sharp pain shot through his head, and then, like an electric shock, ran through his entire body.

The transformation of his Lumiar bloodline collapsed, and Idan returned to his true form, as did Arabel not far from him. Both of them lost contact with the System and their second bloodline and began to fall from the sky.

The Guardian of Light and Erza watched with interest, their eyes burning with excitement.

However, to their surprise, Idan and Arabel’s falling speed suddenly slowed down, and then they both stopped.

Idan seemed to explode into a bright flame, his black hair turned red, and a huge flaming wing opened behind his back.

Arabel, on the other hand, seemed to be in a world of cold: the temperature around her dropped below zero, her long red hair turned white, and four snow-white wings appeared on her back.

”As I expected,” Idan said, turning into the Alpha of Fire.

”Just as Idan suggested, — Arabel said, turning into an Icy Valkyrie.

Even after losing contact with the System, both of them had full control of their first bloodlines, which, as expected, became part of their own power, independent of the System.

However, their joy and excitement quickly turned to alarm when they realized that their bloodlines, as before, were only gold-ranked, which was two levels lower than their enemies.

”It’s not good, Belle, — Idan said gloomily, turning to Arabel. ”Along with the System, we lost access to all the unique abilities.”

Arabel’s face immediately changed when she realized that Idan was right. They could only use the powers that were related to their first bloodlines.

”Wait, Dan, I feel like I can use the energy of madness,” Arabel said hopefully.

When Idan heard this, he tried to use the energy of madness and was surprised to find that, as Arabel had said, he was actually able to control it.

Without giving the couple time to realize what other powers they had left after losing contact with the System, Erza and the Guardian of Light, first glancing at each other, silently decided not to clash yet. They rushed to the couple.

Idan, releasing the Energy of Madness, strengthened himself and, transforming his wings into ten blades, parried Erza’s attack aimed at him.

Arabel, having also released the Energy of Madness, enhanced her transformation into an Ice Valkyrie and parried the attack of the Guardian of Light with her wings.

But no matter how hard Idan and Arabel tried, the forces were too unequal.

Idan and Arabel were sent flying in opposite directions from each other.

Erza and the Guardian of Light, without giving them a chance to recover, followed them and launched another powerful attack at them, which neither Idan nor Arabel could dodge or parry.

The impacts were so strong that both crashed to the ground with great speed, forming huge craters and raising clouds of dust.

After Erza delivered her final blow, she was sure that Idan would not be able to get up.

Her anger against him was so intense that she was ready to peel off his skin.

However, when she was about to finish what she had started, the Guardian of Light suddenly appeared in front of her, blocking her path with an annoying smile on her face.

”He’s mine,” said the Guardian of Light.

”What did you say?” Erza exploded with rage.

”I said he’s mine, and I won’t let you kill him,” the Guardian of Light replied, emphasizing her position and determination.

”Ha ha ha ha!” Erza burst into hysterical laughter.

”Over my dead body!” she sounded determined not to let Idan and Arabel escape alive. She was ready to confront the Guardian of Light without batting an eye.

The Guardian, seeing Erza’s firmness, also prepared for battle. In the midst of their confrontation, they did not notice how strange phenomena began to occur around them.

The temperature in the place where Idan fell began to rise rapidly, while the temperature in the place where Arabel found herself began to drop rapidly.

At the same time, spatial cracks began to appear on the portal that was still spinning not far from the battle site.
