CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 986: Chapter 994 What Should I Do?

”Your twitter and the company’s official twitter, as well as our company’s phone and my phone, are about to explode. You hurry up and post a message on twitter, telling your crazy fans that you’re alright.” Rock Bell was in a frantic rush, ”Stay home more in these next two days. Surely, a bunch of reporters are keeping a death-watch on you.”

”What should I do if James Black comes to the hotel to find me that evening?” Jane Sampson blurted out.

”If he’s caught by reporters, then just tell him to get lost. If he can’t even dodge reporters, he’s dreaming of getting into his wife’s bed!” Rock Bell snapped back.

!!!!

Jane Sampson was dumbfounded. When had her Sister Tin become so crude?

But, rough as the words were, the reasoning was solid. If James Black lacked that ability, he wouldn’t be James Black.

After hanging up the phone, Jane Sampson hurriedly went on twitter to post a message.

Thank you everyone for your concern, there was a scare but no harm done. I am unharmed and can eat, drink, and sleep well. I’m fine. [Flying kiss][A lovey-dovey kiss]

——Jane Sampson.

After sending it out, Jane Sampson scrolled through twitter and suddenly discovered a hot topic ranking was rapidly climbing.

#TheVillainBehindJaneSampson#

#ThePersonWhoFramedJaneSampson#

Clicking on the topic, Jane saw Amber Edwards’ name at first glance.

Or rather, this topic, every single post was related to Amber Edwards’ name. Within it, Amber Edwards was cursed to no end, and netizens with lower standards even descended into profanity to censure her thoroughly.

Many people specifically tagged Amber Edwards in the topic and then berated her.

A few minutes later, Jane saw people saying that Amber Edwards had closed the comment section on her twitter, then everyone said that Amber indicated guilt.

Then, very quickly, several new hot topics appeared.

#AmberEdwardsOutOfTheFilmCrew#

#AmberEdwardsOutOfTheEntertainmentCircle#

#AmberEdwardsOutOfTwitter#

In this topic, someone collated all the recent matters between Jane Sampson and Amber Edwards, definitively stating that the only person in the film crew and at odds with Jane Sampson was Amber Edwards, so, the person who framed Jane Sampson could only be Amber Edwards, because only Amber had the motive in the entire crew.

These topics were inciting netizens to boycott Amber Edwards, and in the end, it escalated into boycotting Amber Edwards and boycotting the Francis Group.

Looking at the handwriting, Jane surmised that it was likely the work of the Francis Group’s competitors behind the scenes, hence these topics were almost unanimously led by an unauthorized crowd.

Many netizens, when they see messages on the internet realm, don’t really think independently and are easily swayed by the paid posters.

There are also some who are keyboard warriors by nature. Seeing an opportunity, they vented their real-life frustrations on these events. And with Amber Edwards’ sensitive identity as a real estate heiress, those who harbored envy towards the wealthy jumped out too, speaking lots of unpleasant words. Jane, as an onlooker, felt very depressed after reading those messages.

She laid the mobile phone on the tabletop, laying on the bed, taking a moment to zone out.

She was trying to recall in this way, to see if she could figure out who had been behind her at that time.

But after trying hard to remember for ten minutes, Jane Sampson could not come up with a reason and had to give up.

It seems that at that time, she truly hadn’t paid attention to the people by her side, after all, she didn’t expect to be backstabbed like this.

After sitting up again, Jane Sampson picked up her phone and started to draft a new tweet.
