CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 960: Chapter 968: I Like Thomas Lancaster

Julie Sampton said, ”Mom, even if James Black no longer helps our family, you still have me, and you have Bright Sampton. The two of us, young siblings, will support the company. We will definitely work hard to expand and strengthen it. Didn’t Dad already agree to go to work at the company this morning? It shows that Dad still approves of me.”

”Don’t mention Bright Sampton. I get upset just talking about him.” Mother Sampton continuously shook her head, ”It’s all Jane Sampson’s fault for instigating him. Otherwise, Bright wouldn’t have argued with your dad like that that day or even cut off relations with the family. His mobile phone is broken, and it’s been so many days since we last contacted him. We don’t even know where he is recently, whether he’s living well. He has no money on him. I don’t know if he is eating well or not.”

But Julie was indifferent.

Bright Sampton has a great sister like Jane Sampson. Why worry about Bright Sampton not having enough to eat or wear?

Given how good Jane Sampson is to Bright Sampton, she probably bought him a new phone that very day. Bright simply doesn’t want to contact the family, which is why he didn’t get a replacement card. He likely changed to a new one, but in this family, only Jane Sampson knows the phone number.

However, Julie didn’t plan to share these thoughts with Mother Sampton. She wanted Mother Sampton to worry about Bright Sampton. That way, Mother Sampton would grow increasingly resentful toward Jane Sampson for not being able to stop Bright on that day.

Slowly, slowly, Mother Sampton would naturally come to believe that all of this was Jane Sampson’s fault.

”Mom, don’t worry. Once Bright cools down, I will definitely bring him back,” Julie patted Mother Sampton’s shoulder. ”After all, Bright is my own younger brother, blood is thicker than water. I won’t just stand by and watch him go astray.”

”Then you must not forget,” Mother Sampton sighed continuously. ”Go and persuade your younger brother to come back soon. Each day without news of him concerns me more. I haven’t been sleeping well these past few days.”

”Mom, don’t worry so much. Bright is old enough; there won’t be any other issues.” Julie was actually extremely jealous. Despite claiming that she was the favorite, when compared to her younger brother Bright Sampton, the son, Mother Sampton actually loved him most.

But Julie would definitely not express these inner thoughts.

However, she also really lacked the patience to continue talking to Mother Sampton about Bright Sampton.

”Mom, Thomas Lancaster is back.” Julie tugged at Mother Sampton’s arm, ”I told you the other day that Thomas is back.”

”Mom, I like Thomas Lancaster, and I want to marry him.” Julie looked like a girl smitten by love. ”I remember Thomas treated me so well when we were little. He even tutored me, but unfortunately, later on, Yvette Quick went crazy and wouldn’t let him near me. Mom, Thomas’s family background isn’t bad either. Marrying him could also help our family out a little.”

Mother Sampton was startled; she hadn’t expected Julie to suddenly tell her she liked Thomas Lancaster.

”But, Mom, I need your help.” Julie wasn’t in a hurry to go out shopping anymore, but instead directly pulled Mother Sampton to sit on the bed and continued. ”Mom, these last few days, I went to the great courtyard several times but didn’t see Thomas anywhere, so he must not be living in the great courtyard now but moved elsewhere. Unfortunately, I don’t have his current phone number. Mom, I need your help.”

”How can I help? I don’t even have Thomas Lancaster’s phone number, and besides, I’m not familiar with his parents either. It wouldn’t be good to just ask out of the blue,” Mother Sampton loved her daughter dearly, but she still cared about saving face.
