Chapter 177: Chapter 185: If You Don’t Go, You’re a Dog

However, Bright Sampton truly never mentioned this matter to Jane Sampson because he knew all too well that Jane wouldn’t accept it.

”I won’t take back the shares, but I won’t lie to dad saying I’ve already received them either. And Julie Sampton, are you an idiot?” Jane couldn’t help but mock Julie, ”You and mother’s shares added together are not insubstantial. With such a major shift in shareholding, do you think dad won’t be aware? Do you really think this can be easily deceived?”

If Father Sampton hadn’t been attentive to whether there had been any further changes in shareholding, the Sampton Family company wouldn’t have made it to today. At least in Jane’s eyes, Father Sampton really wasn’t such a foolish person.

”As for you saying you’re going to expose me, just go ahead. Whether you do it in front of Elder Black or James Black, just go ahead. If you don’t go, you’re a dog!” After cursing, Jane hung up the phone.

”Is it tiring to talk to an imbecile?” Rock Bell offered a bottle of mineral water to Jane and asked with a sneer.

Tired? How could it not be?

Not to mention that Jane was certain that neither James Black nor Old Master Black would trouble her over the denial of having a boyfriend alone, just from the Sampton Family’s side, if Father Sampton knew about the divisive words Julie had said to the Black Family, Father Sampton would be the first to not let this foolish daughter off the hook.

Besides, even if Jane really was worried, today Julie didn’t say anything, but in two days’ time when the show is broadcast, wouldn’t James Black and Old Master Black see it all the same?

What’s the point of having Julie hide it for two days?

Since the program was recorded, there was still some time before the broadcast. After recording the show, Jane returned to City C and entered the filming set that day.

Jane Sampson had seen countless movies and TV series since she was young, and indeed it was her first time being personally involved in a TV series. On her first day entering the film crew, the whole set was filled with novelty for Jane.

Daniel Taylor was very busy. Seeing Jane running all over the set as soon as she arrived, he didn’t bother with her. It wasn’t until the third day that he grabbed Jane directly to his side, moved a chair for her to sit next to him, and told her to watch and learn.

Jane’s script was still some time away, and Daniel let her enter the filming set early for the purpose of learning more.

”Jane Sampson.”

Matthew Chip didn’t have much of the drama to do today; he saw Jane sitting and watching after he was down, and before even changing out of his costumes, he went straight to talk to Jane.

”Did Director Taylor drag you to study again?” Although it was a rhetorical question, starting with a question was always a good conversation starter.

Jane looked up at Matthew Chip, nodded her head, and hummed a response, then her gaze lingered a bit longer on the costumes he was wearing. In this drama, Matthew played the villain, so his costumes were mostly in dark colors. Matthew was a good-looking guy, and with the dark costumes plus a quality makeup artist, his tough side was indeed brought out impressively.

”Very handsome.” Even though she remembered Rock Bell and Daniel Taylor had told her that Matthew Chip was quite self-interested, Jane didn’t skimp on complimenting Matthew.

”I was already handsome, but with this costume, I’m startled awake every day by my own handsomeness.”

Matthew Chip was definitely someone who knew how to socialize and chat. With a remark tinged with a bit of self-love, he instantly amused Jane to laughter.
