CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 175: Chapter 183: Highly Rated

”She’s the perfect combination of beauty and brains!” Sasha patted Jane Sampson on the shoulder, ”Next time we play a game, we definitely shouldn’t include this kind of person! Ever since I was little, my mom reminded me that as a pretty vase like me, I must never play games with someone like Jane who has both looks and smarts, otherwise, I’m bound to lose.”

”No, no, we have to bring Jane. Playing a game, it’s only with people like her that you feel that sense of surprise and wonder when the game ends.” Mr. Humming finally stopped laughing and caught his breath, ”Let me give a game summary. In this round, the undercover was solely supported by Jane Sampson, with Big Brother Edwards leading the charge and creating a smokescreen for Jane. William Chip muddled through to the end, so after the program ends, you two need to find time to treat Jane to some chrysanthemum tea.”

”Jane, let’s add each other on WhatsApp after we head down. If we play this kind of game again, I want to bring you along,” William Chip said with a grin that couldn’t be happier.

”I dare not claim all credit; it wasn’t just me alone. I had a charge in the front and a guard in the back. We were a gang committing the crime, surviving till the end,” Jane Sampson quickly demurred.

”A gang committing a crime! Jane Sampson, are you trying to laugh me to death so you can inherit the single dog food my mom has prepared for me?” Sasha asked.

”She probably wants to laugh you to death so she can inherit your title as the ’beautiful vase,’” Mr. Humming jumped in, then unveiled the punishment for the losing side of the game.

Backstage, a large curtain was slowly drawn open, revealing seven rocking cars behind it. The punishment hadn’t even been announced, and the audience back stage was already laughing themselves faint.

”The punishment is, all seven of you take a coin, choose a rocking car to sit on, and then strike what you think are the twenty most beautiful and prettiest poses for photographs. The slowest three will face the ultimate punishment,” Mr. Humming explained, as personnel brought up seven one buck coins to the stage.

The seven members of Team William Rivers each grabbed a coin and sprinted towards the rocking cars, and then a variety of children’s songs began playing on stage.

One song went, ”Over the mountain, across the sea, there sits a Smurf,” while on a rocking car, a beautiful girl in a dress struck poses.

Another went, ”Ah ah ha, ha ha, Black Cat Sheriff,” with Matthew O’Reilly standing on a rocking car, wobbling as if he would fall and saluting to the music.

Or ”Under the bridge in front of the gate, a group of ducks swam by...”

This show made the audience laugh till they held their stomachs and left a particularly deep impression on Jane Sampson, who was taking part in a program recording for the first time in her life.

During the program, both Mr. Humming and Sister Sasha were discreetly taking great care of her. After the show was over, Jane Sampson didn’t find an opportunity to thank them in person, but she kept their kindness in her heart.

Jane Sampson didn’t have an assistant, so Rock Bell came to pick her up in person after the program ended. Seeing the fans waving goodbye frantically at Jane Sampson, Rock Bell glanced over at Jane next to him and asked, ”How do you feel about going on stage for the first time to participate in such a recording? Seems like you’ve gained quite a number of fans?”

”Today’s show was so much fun,” Jane Sampson giggled stupidly, ”If there’s another show next time that involves playing games, will you let me participate again?”

”I heard about it. You’re quite fierce when it comes to playing games,” Rock Bell had received an evaluation of Jane Sampson from Min Humming, the teacher. She handed a text message on her mobile phone to Jane, saying, ”Take a look at Mr. Humming’s opinion of you. He rarely gives such a high review at first sight of a newcomer. Although I wasn’t at the scene, I guess your performance must have been really good.”
