I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s

Chapter 1289: Chapter 1288: Introducing You to a Friend

Jing Changle felt quite helpless about this. He wished he could apprentice at the small courtyard, having someone to guide him would be much better than studying on his own, but Aunt Bei said he didn’t belong there.

”My mom wouldn’t make things up, but it seems the Pengge Sect is quite complicated now. According to what my mom and Uncle Xun found out, the Gong Family siblings hold a very high position in the Pengge Sect and have always been protecting Yuanxi,” Luo Yirui said.

Jing Changle nodded. He had no face to ask Aunt Bei to inquire about matters of the Pengge Sect, but contact with the Gong Family siblings was necessary. Only through contact could he learn many things.

Besides, no matter what, Jing Yuansi was his biological sister.

”Have you done a blood test?” Luo Yirui asked.

”Yes, I’ve done it. Jing Yuansi and I are blood siblings.” When he said this, he had a strange feeling in his heart. Ever since his grandfather passed away, he felt that he was the only one in the world, with no one else sharing the same blood as him.

Now, suddenly having an elder sister made him feel strange, but he didn’t reject this feeling. In fact, he seemed to be looking forward to it.

”Take it slow. Luckily, we’re still young, and we have excuses. My mom’s idea is, before you’re fully capable, try to stay out of overly complicated matters.”

Beisitian’s idea was to let him stay in the small courtyard to study until he found someone able to protect him sufficiently. She had long predicted that his background was unusual and surely very complex. Being so young and so talented, whether being used by others or envied, both posed a great risk to him.

Every time Beisitian thought of Jing Changle carrying Luo Yirui out of the forest and then saw this child’s sensible and intelligent nature, she couldn’t bear to see him get hurt.

Moreover, this child had great potential, and Beisitian hoped he could grow up safely and smoothly.

Jing Changle nodded. Apart from refusing to accept him into Qingyu, Aunt Bei was indeed very, very good to him. Although he was young, he noticed many things. Knowing someone is willing to consider everything for you shows that she truly likes you, cares for you, and wants to protect you.

For this reason, though he hadn’t been here long, he’d already developed a deep attachment.

”I need to find a way to check into the Pengge Sect’s affairs. If what the Gong Family siblings said is true, then he can indeed count on them. Whether or not to return to the Pengge Sect, he hasn’t decided, but he must find out his mom’s matter and take the necessary revenge.”

Luo Yirui patted his shoulder, ”I’ll go with you. After all, Yuanxi is also considered my friend. If you can reunite, it would be a blessing, and I heard that Yuanxi isn’t doing well in the Pengge Sect.”

Jing Changle was startled by these words, ”Aren’t the Gong Family siblings protecting her?”

Luo Yirui scratched his head. This was something he heard from Little Fatty, ”I heard it too. The Gong Family siblings have been looking for you and your mother’s whereabouts, so sometimes they can’t take care of Yuanxi.”

Jing Changle’s fist clenched. In fact, he didn’t have any feelings for Jing Yuansi, but he knew she was his real sister. If she wasn’t doing well, she must be bullied, and if what the Gong Family siblings said was not wrong, the reason for her bullying was perhaps still him and his mother...

”Little Rui, I want to meet Jing Yuansi alone,” Jing Changle said.

Luo Yirui immediately nodded, ”Alright, I also want to introduce you to a friend, so let’s get together.”
