I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s

Chapter 1255: Chapter 1254: There’s Someone Here!

Luo Yirui brought back quite a few dead leaves, but Little Fatty and the other two couldn’t find dry branches. It’s impossible to start a fire with just leaves; they’d need dry branches!

”I’ll go out and look again,” said Luo Yirui.

Little Fatty and the others went out to look together as well.

Although the rain hadn’t lasted long earlier, it was intense, and pretty much everything got soaked. After searching around, the three of them saw the dark clouds gathering again and had no choice but to head back.

The three of them hurried back, and the rain started falling quickly. Little Fatty cursed under his breath, but he wasn’t as frustrated as before—his clothes were already wet anyway.

Just as he finished cursing, he suddenly exclaimed and fell flat on the ground.

Luo Yirui and Fu Xuan Ge turned around and looked at him silently.

”You can trip on flat ground? Are you brain-shrunk?” Fu Xuan Ge mocked.

Little Fatty shot him an angry glare, ”I was tripped! Damn it, what the hell!”

He got up and looked back, spotting a corner of a blue garment. He was initially surprised and then quickly stepped back in shock, ”There’s a person there!”

It was precisely this person who had tripped him. Because the ground was covered in leaves and the rain was pouring, he hadn’t seen them. But upon closer inspection, there indeed was someone lying there!

”Are they dead...” Little Fatty swallowed his spit. Seeing a dead person was quite terrifying, especially when it was unexpected.

Luo Yirui also saw the corner of the blue garment. Together with Fu Xuan Ge, they cleared the leaves off the person, revealing a child about their age.

”Damn, it might be one of our brothers who escaped with us!” Little Fatty hurried forward to check.

Fu Xuan Ge looked at him as if he were an idiot, almost making Little Fatty lose his temper, ”What’s the problem!”

Fu Xuan Ge pointed at the person on the ground and said, ”Are you blind? Can’t you see they’re wearing clothes, and their hair is so long—definitely a girl!”

His words left Little Fatty dumbfounded. He scratched his head. Besides them, there were actually other kids here. Speaking of which...

”Indeed, they’re wearing clothes!” Little Fatty purposely emphasized the words ’wearing clothes,’ successfully darkening Fu Xuan Ge’s face because his clothes still had to be the ones they picked up back then, and they fit him poorly.

Little Fatty, feeling victorious, approached and lifted the person up. But upon seeing clearly, he was shocked, ”Brother Xiao Rui, come quickly!”

Luo Yirui also saw the child’s face and was taken aback. Isn’t this Jing Yuansi!

Why is she here!

”Damn, it’s Yuanxi! Yuanxi, wake up!” Little Fatty shook Jing Yuansi, but her head and hands hung limply, life or death unknown.

Luo Yirui frowned and said, ”She’s still alive. Let’s take her with us and get back to the cave!” With that, he and Little Fatty supported Jing Yuansi and started walking back together.

Fu Xuan Ge’s gaze fell to the place where Jing Yuansi had been lying, and there, surprisingly, lay quite a few dry branches. He immediately realized that Jing Yuansi must have come to find dry branches and then passed out there.

He quickly gathered up the dry branches and covered them with his clothes, hugging them as he jogged back to the cave.

Back at the cave, Luo Yirui and Little Fatty were checking on Jing Yuansi’s condition. At this moment, Jing Yuansi was in a high fever and unconscious. If they had found her any later, she might have remained asleep there forever.
