I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s

Chapter 1173: Chapter 1172: Unequal Agreement

Although You Hong’an’s special qualities are not clear, since mom trusts him, Luo Yirui naturally trusts him too. This trust stems from his strong faith in his mom. If these are the only two points, the second point is completely fine for him. The first point, he has no trust foundation with Hou Baiyu, and there’s no trust to speak of, being trained by his parents, naturally he won’t believe them.

Luo Yirui himself is not someone who’s easily controlled or blindly follows instructions, so even without mom’s advice, he wouldn’t listen to Hou Baiyu. Since it’s about being an assistant, he’ll assist within his capability using his own methods, otherwise he shouldn’t be used, as he’s not there to be someone’s henchman.

Luo Yirui nodded and said, ”Mom, the second point is fine, I will be careful about the first point and won’t be used as a pawn!”

Upon hearing her child’s response, Beisitian smiled, reached out to touch his head, and softly said, ”This will be a great training experience for you, moreover, this is something that adults can’t accomplish because there are areas only children can access. This information is something we’ve found out ourselves, so Little Rui must be careful in all matters, what’s most important is safety over anything else.”

Luo Yirui nodded, understanding mom’s meaning that it’s best to succeed, but seeing little hope of success, he should retreat!

Even though this conflicts with father’s intentions, every time mom says this, dad remains silent.

Once Luo Yirui’s side was settled, Beisitian then scheduled a meeting with Mrs. Hou Yue.

Mrs. Hou Yue still took the initiative to visit, Beisitian knows there must be many watching people from ancient families and modern families, Qingyu and the Hou family are major focus subjects, she’s unsure how Mrs. Hou Yue manages to avoid drawing attention.

For matters like this, the fewer people know, the better.

However, this is the land of the Nie Family, Beisitian thinks unless Mrs. Hou Yue finds an excellent excuse, otherwise no matter how she hides, she won’t go unnoticed.

Mrs. Hou Yue seemed pleased upon meeting Beisitian.

”Doctor Bei, have you made a decision?” Mrs. Hou Yue asked with a smile.

Beisitian nodded, ”Yes, I’ve discussed with Little Rui, we can help with this matter.”

Mrs. Hou Yue’s smile deepened, ”Wonderful, Doctor Bei has made a wise decision!” After speaking, someone from the Hou family placed a document from a briefcase onto the table.

Mrs. Hou Yue smiled and said, ”Why don’t we sign an agreement? It’ll enhance trust between both parties. How does Doctor Bei feel about this?” As she spoke, she pushed the document towards Beisitian.

Beisitian picked up the document to read, the more she read, the less smiling she was, finally she placed the document back on the table, her lips still curved but the smile had lost its warmth.

”I will not sign this agreement.” Beisitian said.

This agreement mostly outlines actions if Luo Yirui doesn’t comply with Hou Baiyu’s leadership or violates Hou Baiyu’s orders, however, all punishment falls on Qingyu.

Many punishments are even symbolic, but the meaning is entirely different for Qingyu.

This agreement is akin to one targeting subordinate families!

Although the punishment is mild, obviously the other party has considered this.

”Doctor Bei, please don’t misunderstand, this agreement is merely to foster mutual trust.” Mrs. Hou Yue said.
