I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s

Chapter 956: Chapter 955: Writing a Letter

Not only Beisitian’s side, but Luo Xudong’s moves are equally significant. He has many covert forces, which only the General Staff Ninth Department knows about. This time, he has mobilized most of his resources to search for Luo Yirui.

The actions of the couple are about to unfold an entire world, perhaps due to Beisitian’s profession. Her search doesn’t harm anyone, but it’s a different case with Luo Xudong.

Every time Luo Xudong finds a clue, it involves bloodshed. This is no secret, causing those who have always looked down on him to feel uneasy.

Beisitian is extremely dazzling, and Luo Xudong’s apparent strength is entirely inadequate to match her. In any case, many people in the Mystic Doctor circle think that Beisitian married such a man in vain.

Only now do people realize that he is not as simple as he seems on the surface. He simply doesn’t care what others think or perceive, wholeheartedly protecting his wife and children.

It’s astonishing when he acts!

Finding a child isn’t so difficult, but every time traces are erased. Coupled with Luo Yirui choosing remote paths, even Luo Xudong hasn’t been able to find his son’s whereabouts immediately.

Luo Yirui and Jing Changle are unaware of the outside world turning upside down; they only appear in larger villages when buying food, roaming mostly in sparsely populated areas.

”We can’t go on like this. We can’t keep hiding forever,” Jing Changle said.

Luo Yirui understands this point, but now every time he sees the police, he is terrified. These police often appear in large villages, so it’s natural for him to hide.

Unless they go to the county town, only large villages have cooperatives but no phone service. How can they contact their parents?

Luo Yirui’s eyes lit up at this thought and said, ”Jing Changle, help me buy stamps, envelopes, and writing paper. I want to thank my dad and mom!”

Presenting their plan to everyone may not be realistic; after all, they are just two children without significant power. However, writing a letter is absolutely possible!

Even not being Luo Yirui, Jing Changle could also write... Thinking of this, Luo Yirui suddenly found it odd as he remembered that Jing Changle’s arithmetic was even better than his.

Jing Changle glanced at him, ”Strange that I study better than you?”

Luo Yirui rolled his eyes, emphasizing, ”Only arithmetic, and that was a year ago!”

Jing Changle remained silent for a moment and said, ”Grandpa secretly spent money for me to study with a teacher from a large village. The teacher was a college graduate who voluntarily returned to the village to teach in order to improve the conditions at home. He’s really impressive!”

Even if the teacher is excellent, if the student isn’t diligent, it won’t work. Jing Changle has a naturally sharp mind; for his age, or even older, many wouldn’t grasp complex arithmetic. He is indeed very smart.

Jing Changle went to the village to buy things. This place is quite a distance away from his village, and no one here knows him, so it naturally doesn’t attract any attention.

Upon arriving at the cooperative, Jing Changle saw two policemen standing at the door, talking about something. His heart skipped a beat; they’re everywhere!

Fortunately, Luo Yirui didn’t come. Otherwise, he would have been caught!

Jing Changle pretended to be calm and walked inside, coincidentally catching the conversation between the two.

”Why is the upper authority obsessed with a child? Why not just find his parents directly!”

”Who knows? It’s an order from above, and we just have to execute it.”
