Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 573: Tender Embrace Under The Rising Sun

The bed creaked as their movements ended. The once cool room now steamed like a sauna, with Selene’s wet eyes glancing up at Nikolai, her expression charming and seductive, but her little lips pouted.

”You... do you have to be so strong?!”

”Hey, is it my fault you are so seductive and hungry?”

”Who is hungry!?”

Selene threw a pillow at his face, but then winced in pain; her little sister ached after such a rough and wonderful time. She might be a monster, but this kind of intensity was too much, even though she complained about her husband’s strength in bed.

”What, since you’re so feisty, do you want more?”

”!!!”

Her eyes widened in shock at his words, and she bit her lip while turning away. Then spoke in a soft voice.

”I won’t fight... no more, let’s rest... okay?”

”Why is my wife so cute?”

”Nn...”

Their lips pressed together as she hugged his back, Selene’s eyes narrowed into crescent moons as she clung to him. ”Hehe.” Her body ached, and yet just some pleasant words and a hug made everything vanish.

Ten minutes passed as they kissed before she pulled away with a soft yawn.

”Sleepy?”

Selene shook her head with a pout.

Nikolai gently stroked her cheek, watching Selene’s tired eyes struggling to remain open as she nodded off for a few seconds before waking up and looking shocked. This repeated several times until finally...

”Snore....”

A cute snore slipped from her lips as she curled up and finally succumbed to her exhaustion.

He spent a long time just stroking her silky blonde hair in silence. When she shivered, he covered her naked body with the duvet, then slipped out of bed; his muscles felt a little heavy after dealing with both women.

But... he couldn’t just leave it at that.

”I knew it.”

Nikolai opened his phone and found a message from Anya. The timestamp said she sent it an hour ago, and so with one last glance at both Selene and Luna, he wore a simple pair of clothes, some jeans and a light t-shirt.

He checked the time and let out a sigh.

The clock said 6:45 am.

Two women were the limit for an ideal evening together.

If he needed to deal with more, then the quality and time spent would be too little. Nikolai opened the door and slipped into the silent hallway.

Under his bare feet, the carpet felt quite comfortable, soft and squishy.

He glanced down the stairs, and when focusing his senses, the sound of people cooking and preparing breakfast resonated from the lowest floors.

’It might be too late to do anything with Anya.’

But he still wanted to try. He opened the door and stepped inside, with a bated breath. The sweet and fruity scent of Anya’s body spread through the room.

Nikolai noticed the low bubble of water with the hiss of a tap. ”Is she taking a bath?”

He worried because Anya wasn’t well after drinking too much blood. What if she tried to bathe and fell asleep or fainted?

”Anya?”

His voice echoed in the darkness as he turned on the lights.

Inside the room looked neat.

He could hardly believe someone stayed here the night before. When he came to the small door at the end of the hallway, he tapped it gently.

The bamboo door slid to the side, almost scaring Nikolai as a fluffy pair of ears appeared, along with Anya’s chromatic eyes. ”Brother?”

Her voice sounded rough, as if she’d been sick.

”Are you alright?”

Before he could continue, she jumped out of the bathroom, letting the boiling steam follow. A delicious scent of cream and strawberries followed, as the bath bomb sizzled in the growing water.

Anya hugged him tight, clinging to his back while pressing her lush brown mounds against his chest. The poke of her erect nipples brushed against his half-opened shirt, almost as if she planned to seduce him.

”I’m a little tired and sick.” She rubbed her face against his chest, unable to reach his face without tiptoeing.

”You look really pale, look at your crack lips.” He cupped her cheeks, stroking them while checking her body with his aura.

”Baby, will you take a bath with me?”

Her pleading eyes curled into little arcs as she peeked up at his face. There wasn’t a reason to deny, and after two long bouts with her sisters... he needed a good clean.

”You have to behave, don’t be naughty.” Nikolai didn’t want to rush things and would prioritise Anya during the date with Clara... that would be less unfair to her.

”Hmmm~~” Anya rolled her eyes before tilting her head with a smile. ”Okay~ then let’s have a nice hot bath.”

The little fairy then removed his shirt and pants in record time, clasping his hand and guiding him towards the huge, round bath.

It was a special seated bath, which made Nikolai curious...

”Is this kind of thing nice?”

”Mm... I don’t know.”

The seated bath was huge, but deceptive.

Once the pair sat on the bench, the hot water slowly covered their bodies, and with a soft, cushioned backrest, the two leaned back while cuddling.

”Oooh~~ it has a jet spa setting, hehe.”

The water bubbled underneath them, creating a relaxing hot current, while the door locked in place. It was quite the experience for Nikolai as Anya slipped onto his lap and looked back with a cute glance. ”Can you wash my back, hehe?”

”Of course, my princess.”

Like this, the two enjoyed a comfortable bath.

The scented bomb spread and soaked into their skin as both of them hugged each other while sitting under the warm air fan, a strange invention created by the eastern branch of a famous company.

Similar to Air conditioning, this fan rapidly dries a person’s body and hair after the bath, helping to avoid the cold and also removing all moisture from the bathroom to avoid mould and other issues.

”Thank you for coming, I was worried that I ruined the night.”

Anya lay against his chest while they sat on the sofa near the bay window facing the ocean, its high waves crashed on the beach, while the villagers started their daily lives.

”Don’t thank me, you’re my little wife too.” He pulled on her soft cheeks, teasing her while they cuddled.

”You’re going to be doing something dangerous soon, right?”

”Eh? What makes you say that?”

Nikolai looked down at the beautiful girl on his lap, with soft cheeks, big eyes and an oval-shaped face. Her caramel skin looked glossy and seductive after the bath, and he couldn’t help but admire her beauty.

”I know, we’ve all been talking about it in the group.”

”Your girl’s group, huh?”

”Mm~ I remember that you came to Londis to relax... but ended up with so much trouble, so when I think that you’re going to that place to fight.” Anya’s hands fiddled with his, stroking his knuckles as she glanced up.

He found her moist lips rather attractive and couldn’t help but lean closer.

When they kissed, her little tongue slipped into his mouth. Unable to stop himself, he enjoyed the taste and punished the seductive little fairy.

Five minutes later, she panted slightly while still watching his face.

”Will everything be okay?”

Her question was honest, a sort of honesty that the other women might struggle to ask him, not because of trust or lack of caring.

It was just Anya’s charm.

To speak her mind and cross boundaries without trying.

”It’ll be dangerous.”

He didn’t lie, gently lifting her chin with his finger.

Nikolai adored his women, but most of all, he swore not to lie to them anymore or hide things just to avoid them worrying.

”...” Anya swallowed and paused before continuing.

”How bad, are you sure we can’t join you?”

He leaned back, his fingers stroking her soft, blonde hair.

”I think that it’ll be too difficult for me to protect you all, and keeping myself safe would be the limit... that’s without anyone else interfering.”

”Even with your current strength?” Anya’s eyes widened as she asked.

To her, his current strength was almost equal to her dad and father-in-law. So, it shocked her when he admitted the danger.

”Well, I have a lot to learn, and unlike here, I cannot take all the maids and weapons to that world. The Nexus regulates these things...”

To his admission, Anya’s eyes became wet. She clung tightly to his arm, staring with eyes full of concern. ”Do you have to...?” There was a sort of desperation in her whimpering voice, unlike her sisters. Anya couldn’t hold back or hide her feelings well.

”Are you that worried about me?”

Suddenly, her cheeks puffed up, and she hammered his chest with both fists.

”Of course I am! Idiot.... stupid....”

The girls knew his plan; they’d spoken with Madam Zara, the princess of the Djinn clan. But because it felt different to their relationship with Nikolai, they struggled to accept him entering that world and facing such danger.

”Can’t you sta... no, I know...” Her words stopped, because she saw his expression, and remembered what Zara did to help him... and why he accepted.

”Sorry, I won’t be willful anymore...”

”No, it’s okay, Anya.”

Nikolai hugged her body, the warmth and sweet scent of her skin filling his nose as she pecked her cheek. ”I don’t want to make you worry, I will get stronger.... I promise.”

She glanced into his eyes with a faint smile. ”Fool.”

”I’m a fool for you.”

”Kyaaa~ So corny! But.... I love it!”

Despite her worries, she kissed him as the sun started to rise, creating a beautiful golden light that enveloped their bodies.

Whatever the future might bring, Anya just wanted Nikolai to be safe.

That’s why she also decided...

To become strong enough to stand at his side... with the others that loved him.
