Chapter 2551: Chapter 2551: Got Taken Away

Of course, Huang Yang and Miao Ceifeng did not have any proof to show the police officer. Then, Miao Ceifeng remembered something.

”We can get this money from our daughter.” Miao Ceifeng stated, shifting the blame to their daughter.

”That’s right.” Huang Yang also supported the statement.

”Then, you should call your daughter. We need to confirm this.” The police officer stated.

”Well... Our daughter is working right now. She might not be able to answer the call.” Miao Ceifeng said.

”You should try it first.” The police officer was not giving up.

Huang Yang and Miao Ceifeng looked at each other.

”Husband, you should call our daughter now.” Miao Ciefeng pushed the task of contacting their daughter to Huang Yang.

Huang Yang was stunned. He was so reluctant to contact Huang Huiling at the moment.

”It seems you are trying to deceive us. Take th...” The police officer spoke up.

”No... No... Wait... Wait... I will contact her right now.” Huang Yang nodded.

He took out his phone and contacted Huang Huiling. However, like Miao Ceifeng stated, Huang Huiling was not picking up the call.

”Officer, your daughter is not picking up the call.” Huang Yang said.

”Let’s go to the police station first. Secure the money.” The police officer ordered their subordinates.

Miao Ceifeng cried as she said to the police officer who took the 3 million. ”Please, don’t take away my money.”

”Madam, don’t worry. If the money is legally yours, we will return it to you.” The police officer said to the crying Miao Ceifeng.

Because of Miao Ceifeng’s cry, some of the people who lived in this rundown apartment heard the commotion and got out of their rooms to see what happened. Everyone saw Huang Yang and Miao Ceifeng being taken away by the police officer. They were whispering to each other, trying to guess what happened to the couple.

Huang Yang and Miao Ceifeng just moved in recently. So, the people around did not know much about them. Not to mention, Miao Ceifeng seemed arrogant. She did not come out to greet their neighbours.

”Why does the police come and take them away?”

”I don’t know.”

”Humph! I just know it. The couple is something else.”

”They must be some criminals. Otherwise, the police officer would not come here to arrest them.”

”Look at that.”

”What is in those bags?”

”That looks heavy.”

”Do the bags contained drug?”

”Why don’t you go and ask the police officer?”

”Of course, the police officer will not tell us.”

The police officer brought Huang Yang and Miao Ceifeng to the police station. They were placed into the separate room. One police officer had been assigned to each of them. The police officers pressed Huang and Miao Ceifeng to tell how they had their hands on the money. They explained the law and what punishment the couple would face if the police officers found something wrong with the money if the couple refused to tell them.

The one who cracked first under the police’s pressure was Huang Yang. He told everything to the police officer. About the stolen goods, and how they sold them to the buyer.

The police officer’s eyes lifted up when he heard about the buyer. They had been investigating this kind of business for months. They had no lead. However, after hearing Huang Yang’s story, they managed to get some information about it.

”So, you know where the location is?” The police officer asked.

”Yes.” Huang Yang nodded.

”Great. If you cooperate with us, we promise that your punishment will be lower.” The police officer stated.

”Yeah.” Yu Qi said.

...

Yu Qi appeared at the store right after Huang Yang and Miao Ceifeng sold the jewellery. She entered the store. She walked to the counter where the man was still watching the videos on his phone. He realised Yu Qi’s presence and looked up. He was mesmerised by Yu Qi’s look.

”Yes, Miss... What are you looking for?” The man asked.

”I want to take back something that the middle-aged couple sold earlier.” Yu Qi said.

The man looked at Yu Qi suspiciously. This woman obviously did not know the password. So, she was not allowed to enter the path.

Yu Qi knew that the man in front of her would never say anything. So, she would find what she wanted on her own. She used her eye power and looked at everything. She found the hidden entrance. She walked behind the counter. The man was shocked when Yu Qi was about to reach the hidden entrance.

”Stop! What do you think you are doing?” The man glared at Yu Qi.

He thought he was enough to intimidate a young woman. But what he got was nothing. No fear, no shock. Just calm.

”I just want to get what’s mine. Step aside.” Yu Qi tilted her head.

”Young girl, you...” The man tried to get closer to Yu Qi but froze for a moment before losing his consciousness.

Yu Qi stepped over and entered the hidden path. She walked the narrow path until she entered the bigger space. Then, she heard sounds. The sound of a gun being aimed at her. She looked around and saw several men pointing guns at her.

”Who are you?” The scarred man appeared.

”You don’t need to know me.” Yu Qi replied.

”Then, what do you want?” The scarred man narrowed his eyes, looking at Yu Qi.
