Chapter 2536: Chapter 2536: It Was Not The First Time

”Grandpa, you need to investigate my mother’s death. There is no way that my mother would kill herself. Someone must instigate her.” Cindy Lee said.

Cindy Lee was crying, asking her grandfather to investigate her mother’s death.

”Grandpa, someone posted about Auntie Winter hiring a hitman.” Angelica Lee stated.

Angelica Lee showed the post to Patriarch Lee. Patriarch Lee frowned as he read the post. He clicked his tongue. The sadness that he held for his daughter vanished. He was angry that his daughter threw mud on the family’s name. He was not angry that she hired a hitman. But he was angry because she did not handle it properly.

”Grandpa... Mom never does it.” Cindy Lee shouted.

Angelica Lee glanced at Cindy Lee. She snorted before she moved her eyes, looking in another direction.

Patriarch Lee knew her daughter. She probably had done it. She had done it before. Three times. The first one was a girl from the school. That girl seemed to talk to a boy that Winter Lee liked. So, she hired some thugs to play with that girl to death.

The second one was a man from the university. He was handsome and exceptional. Winter Lee liked him. She offered him money in exchange for the man being with her. However, the man rejected her, saying that he was disgusted by Winter Lee’s action.

Winter Lee became smart. She did not strike directly. She made him kill himself. She made everyone ignore the man. Everyone was afraid to be targeted by the Lee Family. So, everyone did what she wanted.

The man was brilliant became broken after the long and hard work of research that he had done, to be stolen by his best friend. That research would bring him a fortune. He needed that fortune for his mother’s surgery.

However, he lost everything. Her mother’s condition became critical and needed immediate surgery. He needed money. Then he remembered Winter Lee’s offer. He rushed to beg her.

Winter Lee met him. The man asked for the money. He was willing to be with her at that moment. He thought Winter Lee would accept him, but Winter Lee just laughed at his face.

She humiliated the man’s pride. She told him that the offer had expired a long time ago. She did not want to waste her time. Before she left, she stopped for a moment and turned back, facing the man. She said the cruellest thing at that moment.

She told the man that there was no need for him to gather the man because his mother would not undergo the surgery. Because she would prevent it no matter what. The man looked shocked and ran away, leaving the smirking Winter Lee.

The man arrived at the hospital and got the news that his mother had passed away. He fainted right away. After he regained his conscious, he paid to cremate his mother’s body and returned home. Not long after that, the man took his own life. He had no reason to live anymore.

The third person who lost his life to Winter Lee was her own husband. They met at the company. The man was one of the employees. Because of his good looks, Winter Lee liked him.

The man knew that Winter Lee was from the Lee Family. He felt honoured to be liked by Winter Lee. They got married. The man married into the family, becoming the son-in-law of the Lee Family. Everyone got what they wanted. Life felt normal until Winter Lee got pregnant.

That was where things went south. The man became comfortable with his position and began to keep a mistress. Winter Lee found out, and of course, she was so angry. She was 8 months pregnant at that time. Because of that, she went into labour early. She had a difficult birth.

The man came and apologised to Winter Lee several times until Winter Lee accepted it. The man thought Winter Lee totally forgave him.

He did not know that Winter Lee already planned for his death. Winter Lee smiled at her husband and took care of the child. Three months after the child’s birth, Winter Lee began her plan.

Winter Lee hired the hitman again. It was the same group that she hired to kill Long Hui and Yu Qi. So, it was not the first time she hired the group. She chose the accident car method to kill her husband.

Coincidentally, the man brought his mistress along. They were planning to go to the hot spring, spending time together. The wire brake was cut. On the way to the hot spring, they lost control and plummeted into the trees.

The man and the woman did not lose their lives there. They were so hard to kill. However, Winter Lee did not give up. So, she bribed the doctor to inject something into both of them. Finally, both husband and mistress died.

Winter Lee never got married again. She did not believe in man anymore.

So, Patriarch Lee knew that his daughter was not a good person. Well, he did not care much about her hiring the hitman. She became stupid to leave the evidence of hiring the hitman.

The hospital called the family, telling them that they could come over and bring Winter Lee’s body for the funeral. The autopsy was done. There was nothing wrong with Winter Lee. No drug or anything. She really killed herself with the gun.
