Chapter 2507: Chapter 2507: Spend The Night In Jail

Su Peizhi asked what Fang Lifen had done to be caught by the police. She twisted the truth, saying that the taxi driver hurt them, and Su Jinhai fought back. Su Peizhi told her that he would go to the police station tomorrow because he was in the middle of work and could not leave work.

Fang Lifen protested, telling him that they did not want to stay overnight at the jail. Hearing that, Su Peizhi became angry and told her that there was nothing he could do at the moment and hung up. Fang Lifen was speechless.

”Mum, will Dad come?” Su Jinhai asked.

”He tells me that he will come tomorrow.” Fang Lifen said.

”Mom... I don’t want to sleep in jail. Can you do something about this?” Su Jinhai whined.

The police officer was annoyed with Su Jinhai’s whining. ”Stop whining!”

They opened their mouths. Su Jinhai pulled his mother’s sleeve.

”I will call that wretched girl to help.” Fang Lifen said.

She contacted Su Ke Ke again. No answer. She tried again and again. The more she tried, the more flustered she became.

”That wretched girl does not answer her phone.” Fang Lifen gritted her teeth.

”Mom, why can’t you call the Tang Family? Ask them to tell her about us.” Su Jinhai suggested.

So, Fang Lifen contacted Tang Residence. One ringing and someone had answered the call.

”Tang Residence, who is this?” A voice asked.

”I am Fang Lifen, Su Ke Ke’s mother. Get her for me. I have an important thing to talk to her.” Fang Lifen used an authoritative tone, thinking that the people there would listen to her.

However, she would be disappointed.

”I am sorry, Mrs Su. I have been informed that we will not listen to your demand. So, stop calling this number.” The voice said.

Ming Yue told the servant that if Fang Lifen called them again, they could hang up immediately.

”How dare you...” Fang Lifen was still talking when she noticed the call had been hung up.

Fang Lifen stared at her phone. ”That bastard. How dare he hang up when I am still speaking?”

”Mum, how is that?” Su Jinhai asked.

”They hung up on me after telling me to stop calling.” Fang Lifen said.

”Then, are we going to stay overnight in jail?” Su Jinhai asked.

Fang Lifen did not answer that. She turned to Su Jinxiu, who was silent from the start.

”What is going on with you?” Fang Lifen asked.

Su Jinxiu just shook her head. She was still thinking about the things inside that room. Her hands were still shaking from that.

”Since no one comes for you guys, you will have to stay in jail first.” The police officer stated.

”No...” Su Jinhai protested.

”You want to refuse?” The police officer glared at Su Jinhai.

”No... No... He will follow your order.” Fang Lifen protected Su Jinhai.

The police officer escorted the three of them to the cell where they would be spending the night. Su Jinhai was being separated from his mother and sister. He was placed in a separate cell with other men. He wanted to protest and wanted to stay with his mother and sister, but the police officer refused to listen to him.

The police officer just pulled him away. Fang Lifen told her son that they would meet again tomorrow. The police officer rolled his eyes. They acted like they would be separated for many days.

....

Su Peizhi arrived at the police station around 3 p.m. He told the police officer that he was here for his wife and children. Before the police officer went to call the three of them, Su Peizhi asked what kind of crime his wife and children had committed that required the bailout.

The police officer immediately told Su Peizhi that his son had punched a taxi driver after the taxi driver requested them to pay the fees. It was the opposite of what his wife told him yesterday. The taxi driver wanted compensation. Otherwise, he would press a charge on his son for assaulting him.

Su Peizhi kept calm even though he was fuming inside. He asked the police officer to give him the taxi driver’s contact information. He wanted to pay the compensation to the taxi driver. The police officer nodded. He was happy that Su Peizhi seemed to be a decent person.

After that, the police officer brought Fang Lifen, Su Jinhai and Su Jinxiu out. When Su Jinhai saw his father, he immediately complained to his father about the night. He was flustered when his father did not come to the police station right away, causing him to spend the night in jail.

”Dad, I ended up sleeping in jail because you did not come right away. My body is aching right now.” That was what came out of Su Jinhai’s mouth when he saw his father.

Su Peizhi kicked Su Jinhai’s legs. Su Jinhai fell on the ground, looking at Su Peizhi in shock. Fang Lifen immediately stepped in front of Su Peizhi, blocking his way from kicking Su Jinhai again.

”Husband, what are you doing, kicking our son like this?” Fang Lifen asked.

”You tell me that the taxi driver hurt you guys first, making him punch the taxi driver? Why is the police officer telling me a different thing?” Su Peizhi turned his attention to Fang Lifen.

”That... That...” Fang Lifen stumbled with her words.
