Chapter 2518: Chapter 2518: Pretend To Be The Ghosts

”Let’s not waste the time and dig up the grave.”

So, they were really targeting the grave.

”That’s right. Let’s speed up. I feel weird spending time here.”

Yu Qi looked at Long Hui.

”What are we going to do now?” Yu Qi asked.

”It is disrespectful to dig someone’s grave. These people are not his family or relatives.” Long Hui said.

”I am also thinking the same.” Yu Qi said. ”Let’s try to scare them first. If that is not working, we will beat them up.”

”Scare them?” Long Hui raised his eyebrow.

Yu Qi grinned at Long Hui. She called Xiaohua and Xiaoliu over. She whispered to them about what they needed to do.

”Just scare them?” Xiaohua asked.

”Yes.” Yu Qi nodded.

”No eating?” Xiaoliu asked.

”Nope!” Yu Qi shook her head.

”Okay, Master.” Xiaohua nodded. She pulled Xiaoliu’s hand. ”Let’s go, husband.”

Yu Qi was dumbfounded. She turned to Long Hui.

”Can evil trees get married to each other?” Yu Qi asked.

Long Hui flicked Yu Qi’s forehead.

”Stupid... They are just being influenced.” Long Hui said.

”Influenced by who?” Yu Qi asked again.

”Your cat.” Long Hui said.

”Neko-chan must be watching some family drama with them.” Yu Qi sighed.

Xiaohua and Xiaoliu walked approaching the group of people. One of them finally heard something moving through the bunches and alerted their friends. Everyone stopped moving and waited for whatever was moving through the bunches to appear.

When Xiaohua and Xiaoliu appeared in their sight, they seemed to be relaxed for a moment. Then, someone trembled as he noticed something weird about the kids. Others had not realised the horror yet and came closer to the kids.

”Sweety, why are you here? Where is your parent?” One of the men asked.

”Why are you here?” Xiaohua asked the man back.

”Well...” The man stumbled to answer.

”Why do you bother to ask? Just chase them away.” One of them said.

”Boss, wait!” The trembling man pulled the one who wanted to chase the kids.

”What?” He was displeased.

The trembling man whispered something to him, causing him to turn and look at the kids. When he finally saw what the trembling man whispered to him, he also trembled.

The legs of the kids did not touch the ground. They were floating.

”Why are you here?” Xiaoliu asked.

”Why are you trying to dig our graves?” Xiaohua asked.

The second question made everyone freeze. They finally looked closer at the kids. Everyone finally noticed the weird stuff about the kids.

”You... You...”

”Well, if you want to dig our grave, it is fine. But you need to feed us.” Xiaoliu said.

”Hmm... That’s right. We are hungry. You seem delicious.” Xiaohua licked her lips as her gaze moved from one person to another.

Then, they flew up, while looking down at the men. The men were frozen. These kids were really ghosts. A normal kid could not fly like that. One of them took out the Buddha bead and showed it to the kids, trying to scare them with the bead.

Xiaohua grinned. Then, something like a branch came out of her back and rushed over to grab one of the men. It scared them to scare as they scrambled to run away. The one who was being grabbed by Xiaohua peed himself.

Xiaohua felt disgusted by him, immediately threw him away. The man crawled on his four to run away. They even forgot their belongings.

Yu Qi and Long Hui finally burst into laughter after the men ran away. Both Xiaohua and Xiaoliu really knew how to act like ghosts.

”Good job, you two. You manage to chase them.” Yu Qi patted both of their heads.

”It is really funny. They are really scared of ghosts.” Aoi also laughed.

Long Hui looked at the bag left by those people. He grabbed and took out everything inside the bag. There was an identification card. It stated Liang Shan. Liang Shan was from a neighbouring city. Then, he found something else that made sense why he wanted to dig the grave.

”Shiyuan Antique Shop.” Long Hui said.

”So, they are aiming for the antiques inside the grave. Well, the cultivator did bury many things with him.” Yu Qi stated.

”What do you want to do?” Long Hui asked. He looked around. ”I think they might not give up. We can not leave Xiaohua and Xiaoliu here to scare them each time.”

”Hmm... You are right.” Yu Qi nodded.

She was thinking about the solution. Then, something clicked in her mind.

”We don’t have to let Xiaohua and Xiaoliu guard this grave. We just need to create a maze so that they can not reach the grave.” Yu Qi said.

”Are you sure about that?” Long Hui asked. Then, he spoke out. ”We don’t have any relationship with him. It is not our job to block these people from the grave.”

”Indeed, it is really not our job. But when I saw this grave, it made me remember my Master’s grave. Yes, I know that this grave was indeed not like my Master’s grave. But still, I am thinking if the 4 keepers are not there to guard my Master and Senior Brothers’ grave, someone might come over and dig the grave. So, I am hoping to help this grave by creating the maze array to protect his grave.” Yu Qi looked at the grave in front of her.
