Chapter 2540: Chapter 2540: Confess His Crime To The Police

The scarred man was furious when he found out that Winter Lee had killed her. She should pay him first; only then could she kill herself. Now, he just did the work without getting paid. Even though she had paid the deposit, it was still not worth it.

He thought the Lee Family would take note and call him to pay up, but they came out and announced that they had nothing to do with Winter Lee’s actions. ’Tsk, I should demand a high amount of deposit when someone wants to use my service.’

”Luckily, no one knows that I am the broker.” The scarred man mumbled.

”Are you sure about that?”

The scarred man was startled when he suddenly heard a woman’s voice. He stood up and looked around.

”Who’s there?” The scarred man shouted.

”The one that you killed.” A voice stated.

”Huh?” The scarred man frowned.

Then, he saw a woman appear out of nowhere in front of him and disappear. The woman was smiling, giving him an unsettling feeling. It was the woman that he arranged to kill, the one that Winter Lee wanted to kill. Then, he saw she appeared in a different place.

”So, you like to kill people, do you?” This time, Yu Qi appeared behind the scarred man.

The scarred man jumped from that place and faced Yu Qi. He saw her disappear again.

”If you want to take revenge, you should go and see Winter Lee.” The scarred man said.

Yu Qi was sitting on the table, swinging her legs as she appeared again in front of the scarred man.

”Winter Lee is dead.” Yu Qi stated. She slowly smiled. ”But you are still alive.”

The scarred man felt horrified when he saw the smile on the woman’s face.

”The one who kills you is Winter Lee. Not me. Both of you are dead. You can go and see her.” The scarred man still tried to convince Yu Qi.

Yu Qi swung her hands. Then, the scarred man felt a twinge of pain in his cheek. When he checked, there was blood on his hand.

”You...” This time, the scarred man really felt terrified.

This ghost could hurt him. Meaning she could kill him. But he probably could not do anything to her.

”Wait!!! Don’t hurt me!” The scarred man shouted as he saw Yu Qi lift her hand again.

”You are scared of dying?” Yu Qi mocked the scarred man.

”Please... Please... I will do what you want. Just don’t kill me.” The scarred man begged for mercy.

”You will do what I want?” Yu Qi asked.

”Yes... Yes...” The scarred man nodded.

”Then, you need to go and hand yourself over to the police. You should also confess to every crime that you have committed all these times.” Yu Qi said.

”What?” The scarred man was shocked. It was the same as killing him.

”You don’t want?” Yu Qi asked.

”Well...” The scarred man wanted to say something, but he felt the second pain on his other cheek.

When he checked it, there was another new cut on his face, but he did not see the ghost raise her hand at all.

”I am giving you until this night at 8 p.m. If I don’t hear about that, I am going to come after your head.” Yu Qi said.

She disappeared from the scarred man’s sight. Then, he felt the pain in his neck. His neck was bleeding. If he did not go and report himself, he would never know when he died. That ghost was not a normal ghost but a vengeful ghost.

He only had 3 hours to think about that. What should he do? What should he do?

”Have you done yet?” Long Hui asked.

”Hmm... Done.” Yu Qi smiled.

”Do you think he will go to the police station?” Long Hui asked.

”I threatened him. Well, if he still doesn’t go, we can play with him again.” Yu Qi stated.

...

Captain Thomas was shocked when the hitman came over and confessed to every crime that he had committed. He was confused about why the hitman suddenly arrested himself and surrendered to the police station.

The scarred man did not want to say that he was afraid of the ghost, but he lied, telling the police that he wanted to turn over a new leaf.

Captain Thomas contacted Long Hui and Yu Qi, telling them that the hitman had reported him to the police station voluntarily. They acted surprised. Yu Qi asked if it was possible; she wanted to meet the hitman. Captain Thomas said it was possible.

So, the next day, Yu Qi and Long Hui went to the police station and met with the hitman.

The scarred man was confused and surprised when the police officer told him that some people wanted to see him. He went to see them. As soon as he saw them, he stepped off in horror. It was the same woman.

”Why are you here? I already confessed my crime.” The scarred man broke down.

Everyone was confused except for Yu Qi and Long Hui.

”What is going on?” Captain Thomas asked.

”There is a ghost. She cornered me and asked me to come forward, confessing my crime. I am already here. Why do you need to come again?” The scarred man spoke.

”What are you talking about? They are not dead. The ones in the explosion were not them. Someone else stole the car.” Captain Thomas explained.
