I reported you for selling fake medicine. If I stop selling it, why are you crying?

Chapter 37 Are You a Bunch of Trash?Chapter 37 Are You a Bunch of Trash?
The top floor of Huaming Pharmaceutical Building.

Unlike the ordinary office area below, the first impression here is luxury.

A dark sandalwood desk, a mahogany bookshelf, a high-end Persian carpet, and a painting of Chen Hongshou playing the zither from the Ming Dynasty on the wall.

Every corner of the office reveals the identity and taste of its owner.

Luxurious yet not ostentatious, exquisite yet solemn.

In front of the desk, a middle-aged man wearing glasses and a suit was writing.

This person is Hua Zhengyuan, the chairman and CEO of Huaming Pharmaceutical.

There was a knock on the door.

Hua Zhengyuan put down the pen in his hand, and there was a hint of majesty in his voice.

”Come in.”

At this time, Chen Dongji walked in. His steps were small and cautious, completely different from his calmness in front of other people in the company.

”Director Hua.”

”How’s the progress on the liver cancer drug?”

“It has completed all phases of testing and will soon be on the market.”

”You did a good job on this one.”

A slight smile appeared on Hua Zhengyuan’s face.

Chen Dongji, who was exaggerated, acted flattered and his acting was very exaggerated.

”But there is one more thing”

”what’s up?”

”Recently, the story of the drug dealer Cheng Ming has been very popular on the Internet. Cheng Ming also founded a pharmaceutical factory called Yinhai Pharmaceuticals.”

”Oh?”

Hua Zhengyuan knew that Cheng Ming was the source of the special medicine sample that Chen Dongji mentioned.

In other words, Hua Ming’s special liver cancer medicine came from this drug dealer named Cheng Ming.

Is the real boss preparing to take action and compete with Hua Ming?
”Is he also going to make this drug? What stage has he reached so far?” Hua Zhengyuan asked.

Actually, this sentence is nonsense.

Now that we have developed a specific drug for liver cancer, how can we not sell it?

Chen Dongji hesitated for a moment and said, ”I found out through a channel that their laboratory recently received a batch of liver cancer experimental animals.”

That is, to the stage of animal experiments.

The next stage is human trials, and if all goes well, it could be on the market within a few months.

In terms of listing time, Huaming Pharmaceutical has an advantage.

”What about the efficacy of the medicine?” Hua Zhengyuan asked.

”Uh” Chen Dongji was a little unable to say it.

”explain.”

”Well, if their finished product is no different from the samples we got from the patients before, their drug is about ten times more potent than ours.”

Speaking of this, Chen Dongji saw Hua Zhengyuan’s face become visibly gloomy.

”A bunch of trash!”

It’s been such a long time since I got the sample, but in the end I only produced one tenth of the efficacy of others. It’s nothing but waste.

Chen Dongji lowered his head and dared not speak.

He is the general manager of the R&D department. He is to blame for the failure of the R&D department to produce good drugs.

After a moment of silence, Chen Dongji said cautiously: ”Director Hua, I found out one more thing...”

”what?”

”It seems that Yinhai Pharmaceutical has not applied for a patent for this drug.”

”Sure?”

”Yes, I checked, and they don’t have a patent.”

Hua Zhengyuan’s eyes lit up.

Since Yinhai has not applied for a patent, they can apply for a patent for this formula, and the formula of this special medicine will belong to them.

Although we cannot restrict others from producing this kind of medicine.

But it also plays a very important role.

Chinese medicine formulas are somewhat different from Western medicine.

Patents for Western medicines are single substances or compounds, so if someone else wants to produce the drug, they have to pay the patent owner. But Chinese medicine formulas are different and the ingredients are very complex.

Just by slightly changing the recipe, or even just changing some of the production methods, you can get a different medicine.

The effects are often similar.

Just like Liuwei Dihuang Pills, any manufacturer can produce it without paying patent fees.

But this does not mean that patent registration is useless.

Registering the patent first is equivalent to announcing to the world that the liver cancer specific drug was first developed by Huaming Pharmaceutical, and everyone else’s products are imitations.

If you were faced with an original and a replica, which one would you choose?
”Very good, we must apply for a patent for this formula.” The gloom on Hua Zhengyuan’s face dissipated.

[Hello, Ms. Bai, we have already filled this position and have no plans to recruit more people for the time being. ]

[Our position is not suitable for girls]

【We only recruit fresh graduates】

Within one day, Bai Ruolan received rejection notices from several companies.

Yes.

She resigned from Hayes Luxury Cars and is currently looking for another job.

Because of Cheng Ming’s incident, everyone in the Hayes headquarters now looks down on her. She can no longer stay there and has no choice but to resign.

However, she found that it is really difficult to find a job nowadays.

Besides, she is now 26 and almost 27 years old. This age is a bit awkward. She is not as cheap and obedient as new graduates, but she does not have the ability of older employees.

In short, the price/performance ratio is not high.

Recently Bai Ruolan interviewed with more than a dozen companies, and either the employers were not satisfied with her, or she was not satisfied with the employers.

After much deliberation, she finally chose her old profession - selling cars.

Recently, a newly opened luxury car dealership offered very good salary and commission in its recruitment advertisement, so she decided to give it a try.

She took a taxi to Xicheng District, to the entrance of a place called Dihao Auto City.

Through the glass you can see the interior of the auto city, a row of luxury cars shining brightly, luxury cars of various brands competing with each other, their streamlined body design looks particularly charming under the lights.

These vehicles are not just means of transportation, but more like exquisite works of art.

The number of luxury cars parked here shows that this newly opened auto mall is incredibly powerful. It has more cars than the Hayes headquarters store and it’s even bigger!
Bai Ruolan walked in.

A tall and beautiful woman came in front of her.

”Beauty, do you want to see the car?”

The beautiful woman’s aura made Bai Ruolan feel a little ashamed of herself.

What an excellent condition!
If any salesperson has such a good image, will she be hired?
”No, I’m here for an interview.”

The beauty was not disappointed after hearing this. She pointed behind her with a smile and said, ”The second room is the general manager’s office.”

After thanking the beauty, Bai Ruolan followed the direction she pointed, went to the general manager’s office and knocked on the door.

”Please come in.”

A very pleasant voice sounded.

female?

Bai Ruolan was startled, then opened the door and went in.

The layout of the office was very ordinary. The most eye-catching thing was a professional woman wearing a well-tailored black business suit. She sat in a dignified posture with her hands flying on the keyboard, and it was unknown what she was busy with.

Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders. Even though only her upper body was visible, Bai Ruolan still gave herself a score in her heart - 100 points.

A capable and beautiful woman.

He is two levels better than the salesperson I just met.

”Are you here for an interview?”

”Yes.”

Bai Ruolan took out her resume and handed it over.

Then the beautiful general manager asked a lot of questions, all about the performance data of high-end vehicles and questions about etiquette.

If Bai Ruolan hadn’t memorized all these skills, she would have been so nervous that she almost couldn’t answer, but in the end she still completed the interview smoothly.

”Very good, Miss Bai, you passed the interview.” said the beautiful general manager.

”Thank you, thank you!”

Bai Ruolan said excitedly.
