I reported you for selling fake medicine. If I stop selling it, why are you crying?

Chapter 1 Are you calling the police to arrest me?Chapter 1 Are you calling the police to arrest me?

In a dark room.

Cheng Ming placed his backpack on the table and opened the zipper. Inside were white medicine bottles without labels, filled with pills.

”Here are the medicines. One bottle for each person. Ten thousand per bottle.”

Cheng Ming said, looking forward.

There were dozens of people standing in the room, some old and some young, of different ages.

But their faces were all equally pale and looked sick.

There was a hint of desire in their eyes, but for some reason, they did not step forward to get the medicine.

Leading the group were two old men in their fifties and sixties, Lao Jin.

He brought these patients here and served as their contact person.

However, Lao Jin had no intention of paying, and none of the dozens of people moved.

”What’s wrong? You have taken this medicine so many times, do you still doubt its effectiveness?” Cheng Ming asked.

Lao Jin shook his head: ”The medicine is too expensive.”

”What do you mean?”

I’ve been taking it for several months, and now you tell me the medicine is too expensive?
Cheng Ming noticed something was wrong.

At this time, the door of the house was kicked open, and several policemen rushed in and controlled Cheng Ming.

Cheng Ming was surrounded, but he was not too panicked.

But the expressions on Lao Jin and those dozens of people’s faces were somewhat surprised.

”You guys. Call the police to arrest me?”

Cheng Ming’s eyes were very deep. Although Lao Jin was in his forties, he was actually a little afraid to look him in the eye.

But he turned around and said the same thing: ”You shouldn’t be too greedy, 10,000 yuan for a bottle of medicine!”

”Ten thousand yuan! It can only feed you for a month, and you need to eat it for the rest of your life. How many families can afford it?”

Someone in the crowd echoed: ”My son has to pay for the mortgage, the car loan, and my medical expenses. We can’t afford it.”

”So you called the police to arrest me?” Cheng Ming repeated.

Lao Jin said: ”Don’t blame us, blame yourself for being too greedy!”

greedy?

Am I greedy?

Cheng Ming smiled. He had not explained in detail to the patients how high the production cost of these drugs was, nor how difficult the production process was.

Moreover, this is a drug that can inhibit the growth and spread of liver cancer cells!
Liver cancer!

Advanced liver cancer has almost a 100% mortality rate and is even known as the leading cause of cancer.

Is there any other medicine in the world that has such an effect?
What’s more, it was these people who begged to sell the medicine to them, but now they are flattering us and saying it’s expensive?
Cheng Ming turned his head and stopped talking to the two.

Among the police officers who came in, the leading police officer spoke.

”Mr. Cheng, someone has called the police to report you for selling fake drugs, which is endangering the health of patients. Please come with us!”

Cheng Ming did not say anything or resist, and let the police take him away.

But before leaving, he took a deep look at the dozens of people in the house, and none of them dared to look up and look at him.

When the police left, they took away all the valuables in the room, including the backpack of medicine.

The room returned to silence.

Dozens of people looked at each other.

A young man hesitated and said, ”Cheng Ming saved us after all. Would it be too much if we called the police to arrest him?”

Lao Jin glanced at him and said, ”The people have been arrested. Is it interesting that you are talking about this now? Didn’t you all agree to call the police?”

The young man fell silent.

Another person said, ”Those medicines have also been taken away by the police. What should we do?” At this time, Lao Jin took out a bottle of medicine from his pocket. This bottle of medicine was the one he took out from the backpack during the chaos just now. In the dim light, a ray of light shone on his face, revealing his disdainful expression.

”You are taking medicine and undergoing chemotherapy at the same time, right? How do you know whether his medicine is really effective or it is the chemotherapy that is working?”

”Also, regarding the medicine, I have contacted Mr. Chen from Huaming Pharmaceutical Group. Mr. Chen assured us that everyone will have cheap medicine soon.”

Hearing this, the tense expressions on dozens of people’s faces relaxed a little.

Lao Jin and Lao Yang took a car to the headquarters of Huaming Pharmaceutical Group.

Huaming Pharmaceutical Group.

The largest pharmaceutical group in Haicheng, with a market value of nearly 10 billion, has several pharmaceutical companies, pharmaceutical factories, and research institute laboratories under its umbrella, and is very powerful.

This is also the reason why Lao Jin and Lao Yang chose to trust Huaming Pharmaceutical.

In the lobby, a beautiful woman wearing the Huaming Group uniform stood at the front desk. She was tall and had a sweet look.

”Who are you looking for?”

”Uh, let’s go find Mr. Chen.”

Faced with two ordinary old men in plain clothes, the beautiful receptionist had a hint of contempt in her eyes, but she still made a routine phone call to confirm.

After confirming it, she said to the two of them:
”Mr. Chen is waiting for you on the 16th floor.”

”Thank you.”

The two took the elevator to the sixteenth floor, where they met a middle-aged man in a suit and a young woman in a reception room.

The middle-aged man in a suit with a big belly and sparse hair was Chen Dongji who had contacted them before.

The young woman standing next to her looked like a secretary.

Chen Dongji leaned on the sofa and did not stand up when he saw the two people come in.

”Did you get the stuff?”

”it’s here.”

As Lao Jin spoke, he took out the white bottle and placed it on the table.

Chen Dongji took the bottle, opened the cap and smelled it, as if to make sure that the medicine was fine.

Then he waved to Lao Jin and Lao Yang and said, ”Okay, you two go back and wait for news.”

Lao Jin and Lao Yang were stunned.

For Hua Ming, the two stabbed Cheng Ming in the back and gave the medicine to Chen Dongji, but when he got here he didn’t even have a glass of water.

That’s fine.

They were driven away directly after getting the medicines, which was like killing the donkey after it had done its work. The two of them felt a little uncomfortable.

”Mr. Chen, um,” Lao Jin hesitated, ”how long will it take you to copy the finished drug?”

”What do you mean by imitation?” Chen Dongji corrected him, ”We at Huaming Group never make imitation drugs. All our drugs are independently developed by our laboratories.”

”Yes, yes, it is research and development.” Lao Jin agreed, ”Then Mr. Chen, when can you develop it? You know that we have dozens of patients waiting to take the medicine.”

Chen Dongji waved his hand impatiently: ”We will develop it as soon as possible, and then you will all have cheap medicine to take. You can go back and wait for news first!”

Lao Jin and Lao Yang looked at each other and finally had no choice but to leave the reception room.

After the two left.

Chen Dongji handed the medicine bottle to the secretary beside him and said expressionlessly: ”Send it to the laboratory and ask them to analyze the ingredients and study how to produce it.”

The secretary asked, ”Mr. Chen, is this not a good idea?”

”What’s wrong with that?” Chen Dongji raised his head, and his sharp eyes froze the female secretary. ”I, I mean, what if Cheng Ming comes to our group and makes trouble, saying that he invented this medicine?”

”If we ruin his reputation and make him a fake drug dealer, do you think people will trust Huaming Pharmaceutical or a fake drug dealer?”

”Go ahead and have someone make this a big deal online.”

The secretary nodded and left with the bottle of medicine.
