I reported you for selling fake medicine. If I stop selling it, why are you crying?

Chapter 19 Angry Old YangChapter 19 Angry Old Yang
Lao Yang came to the conference room of Huaming Pharmaceutical.

There weren’t many people here at that time. After everyone took the medicine for a month, it seemed that many people had dropped out.

I don’t know if it’s because he was no longer around, or because he felt the medicine wasn’t effective, so he simply didn’t come to take it.

Most of the people who have persisted until now are because of poor financial conditions.

Dozens of patients sat down.

Soon, a man who looked like a researcher in a lab coat walked in.

”Everyone has been taking medicine for a while. Next, the researchers will check everyone’s physical condition.”

As they spoke, two people in white coats came over and started taking the patient to the next room for examination.

It took a lot of time to examine each patient.

I was examining the patients from morning till afternoon.

I thought I was just here to take some medicine, but ended up wasting almost a whole day just to do it.

Old Yang imagined what an angry expression his daughter-in-law had on her face when she returned home in the afternoon.

It was not easy.

All patients were examined.

Just when Lao Yang thought he could finally take the medicine, Chen Dongji came here and spoke Mandarin.

Old Yang was a little surprised.

He has always disliked Mr. Chen, who loves to speak official language. So far, every time he comes here, he does nothing but talk a bunch of empty words without any real benefits.

”Everyone!”

”Thank you all for your hard work. If it weren’t for you, our experiment wouldn’t have been completed so quickly!”

”Now let’s applaud and congratulate, our liver cancer drug has been successfully developed!”

”We at Huaming Pharmaceutical will remember every patient’s contribution to this project!”

After saying this, Chen Dongji led the applause.

The patients didn’t respond much at first, but Lao Jin took the lead in applauding, and then the others followed suit.

But Lao Yang felt nothing inside and even wanted to curse.

Experiment successful?

Become your mother?
Now there are several people who have cancelled their accounts in the patient group. How can you tell me that the experiment is successful?

They also said something about remembering our contributions, but all that is empty talk. If I really want to thank you, please just give me money.

But it is impossible to give out money.

Chen Dongji said a few more words, which were nothing more than how difficult the research and development was and how grateful he was.

Finally, he said: ”The experiment has ended today. Thank you again for your dedication!”

There was another burst of applause.

Then, Chen Dongji left with the people around him.

Leaving now?

All the patients were stunned.

What do you mean?
gone?

ended?
It was not until the staff began to pack up the audio equipment in the conference room that the patients were sure it was true.

Huaming Pharmaceutical’s human experiments have ended.

This means they will have no medicine to take in the future!
The patients went from being confused to being shocked.

They originally thought that they were here to get medicine today. Even if the effect of Huaming Pharmaceutical’s medicine was not very obvious, it could always provide some psychological comfort.

And then you told me that the experiment was over!

You won’t be distributing medicine anymore in the future, right?

Do I have to buy medicine with my own money?

”Damn it!”

This is the only word in the minds of all patients.

Now they feel like they have been used and then kicked away!

Especially Lao Yang.

Only he and Lao Jin knew where Huaming Pharmaceutical’s drug samples came from. They ”stole” them from Cheng Ming!
They took such a big risk and finally stole the medicine and gave it to them.

The hope is that they can develop the same drug and then use their scale to reduce the cost of the drug.

The results of it?
Not only did Huaming Pharmaceutical fail to reduce costs, it couldn’t even produce medicines.

And they abandoned their fellow patients!

Old Yang gnashed his teeth and cursed Huaming Pharmaceutical ten thousand times in his heart! Dozens of fellow patients were also very emotional.

”Lao Jin, are you just going to ignore us now?” asked a fellow patient.

Everyone then realized that, yes, it was Lao Jin who had always been in charge of all matters relating to Huaming Pharmaceutical.

Now that something went wrong, everyone subconsciously focused their attention on Lao Jin.

Lao Jin looked heavy.

But there was no trace of surprise on his face, as if he had known about this for a long time.

”Yes, Lao Jin, haven’t you always been the one in contact with Huaming Pharmaceutical?”

”Tell me what’s going on.”

”Does Huaming Pharmaceutical just ignore us now?”

”We took such a big risk and gave them the drug to try, and they just don’t care about it?”

”We must make them give an explanation today!”

The patients were a little excited and their tone was a little serious.

Lao Jin didn’t know what to do.

I can only keep reassuring everyone: ”Don’t worry.”

Then he was interrupted by the patient.

”How can you not be in a hurry!”

”Is this the end of it?”

”No! Let’s go find that Chen Dongji! Ask him to give us the medicine!”

”Yes! If he doesn’t give it to me, I will just destroy Huaming Pharmaceutical!”

”Post it online and expose them!”

Lao Jin was silent.

He couldn’t control the situation.

The main reason was that he himself felt aggrieved, so he called the police to arrest Cheng Ming and stole the drugs and gave them to Huaming Pharmaceutical, and he was the main perpetrator.

Just like the ancient people who followed the dragon, they should have been blessed with wealth and glory.

Is this the result?

Nothing at all?

Lao Jin comforted all the patients.

”Everyone, please stop arguing. Huaming Pharmaceutical is the only company in the world that has a special medicine. It won’t do us any good if we make a big fuss.”

”Why don’t we discuss this together first?”

After these words were spoken, most of the patients calmed down.

They finally remembered a fact - Huaming is the only one in the world that has a specific medicine for liver cancer!
To put it bluntly, their lives are now in the hands of Huaming Pharmaceutical.

If they want to survive, they cannot do without Huaming Pharmaceutical.

If they were to fight to the death with them, they would really not be able to survive.

Realizing this problem, the patients’ faces were filled with bitterness.

After all, who would want to let their life be in the hands of others?

But now they are unwilling, and there is nothing they can do.

In the end, all the patients could only calm down.

”Old Jin, tell me, what should we do?”

Lao Jin thought for a moment and said, ”How about this, I will talk to Mr. Chen and ask them to continue giving us the medicine. If Mr. Chen doesn’t agree, we can expose them.”

The patients have always trusted Lao Jin. His suggestions were very pertinent and everyone nodded silently.

Old Yang was originally furious.

But since Lao Jin said so, he had no choice but to do this.

So, Lao Jin went upstairs to talk, and the other patients left.

Old Yang returned home one by one in silence.

Sure enough, as soon as he returned home, he saw his daughter-in-law scolding his grandson. When the daughter-in-law saw Lao Yang coming back, her face was as cold as ice, and the temperature in the room dropped several degrees.

”Going out to take medicine, does it take a whole day?”

”Is she going to the park to watch the old lady square dancing again?”

Lao Yang’s breathing stagnated, and he tried to force out a smile: ”No, no, I was just delayed by something. Are you hungry? I’ll go cook now.”
