I reported you for selling fake medicine. If I stop selling it, why are you crying?

Chapter 10 There is no use regrettingChapter 10 There is no use regretting
Inside the dim house.

Lao Jin, Lao Yang and a dozen or so patients sat in a circle, and everyone looked bad.

There were a few old smokers still smoking, and the house was filled with smoke.

”The pain has been getting worse over the past few days. My limbs feel weak all the time and I can hardly walk.” Someone spoke first in a low voice.

Then a few more people echoed in a low voice.

”I still vomit bitter bile all the time.”

”It’s really hard to bear having a fever every day.”

”You are all relatively good, my legs and feet are sore from diarrhea every day”

Then came another silence.

Then someone whispered, ”If I had known this, I would have continued to buy medicine from Cheng Ming. I didn’t have so many symptoms when I took his medicine before.”

”Yes, it’s expensive, so it’s fine. I accept that cancer treatment drugs are more expensive.”

at this time.

Old Jin, who was sitting in the middle, looked unhappy.

He called everyone around, and no one dared to look at him and lowered their heads.

He looked at the middle-aged man who spoke first.

”Regret it?”

”It’s no use regretting. You don’t think if you go back to Cheng Ming now, he will still sell you medicine, right?”

Hearing this, the dozen or so people present fell silent.

Yes, these people have called the police to arrest the person before, so do they still expect him to sell drugs to them?

”Who knows? A bottle of medicine costs more than 10,000 yuan. Who knows how much he earns. Would he not make so much money?” someone else spoke.

Lao Jin glared at the man and said, ”You can try.”

But in my heart I was already calling this person an idiot.

You are treating Cheng Ming as an idiot. He sells medicine to you. What if you report him again?
Cheng Ming was sentenced to probation, so he wouldn’t have to go to jail. But if he committed another crime during the probation period, he would really have to go to jail.

Cheng Ming is not stupid!
The man was given a look by Lao Jin and didn’t dare to say anything else.

At this time.

Lao Jin’s phone rang.

He answered the phone and started chatting with the person. Suddenly he showed an expression of surprise, followed by surprise.

”Really, Mr. Chen?”

”Okay, I’ll bring people over right away!”

After hanging up the phone, Lao Jin was very excited and said to everyone:
”Everyone, don’t think too much. Huaming Pharmaceutical’s liver cancer drug has been developed. You can go get the drug now! It’s free!”

Hearing this, more than a dozen patients were all surprised and happy.

Lao Jin and Lao Yang had visited Huaming Pharmaceutical many times before, and each time they returned disappointed. They almost gave up hope on this company.

Who would have thought that it had actually developed a medicine at this time!
How could fellow patients not be surprised?

What’s even more surprising is that the medicine is free!

Isn’t this a living Bodhisattva?

”Really, Lao Jin? You’re not trying to trick us, are you?”

”Of course it’s true! Why would they, such a big pharmaceutical company, lie to you?”

When everyone thought about it, it seemed to be true.

”Okay, notify the others and go to Huaming Pharmaceutical together.”

The patients took action and, under the leadership of Lao Jin, came to Huaming one after another.

Hua Ming arranged dozens of patients in a conference room.

The people haven’t arrived yet, and the patients in the meeting room seem a little reserved.

Some people also find it a bit strange.

Aren’t they here to get medicine from Huaming Pharmaceutical? Why are they brought to the conference room? Is it necessary to go through so much trouble just to get medicine?

Wouldn’t it be better to just give them the medicine?

Everyone looked at Lao Jin, but Lao Jin didn’t know what was going on. Chen Dongji only asked him to bring all the patients over and said that there was medicine, but didn’t say anything else.

Soon.

The door of the conference room opened and Chen Dongji walked in with a smile.

“Thank you all for coming!”

”We, Huaming Pharmaceutical, are a large enterprise in Haicheng, and we have the responsibilities and obligations of a large enterprise. I know the difficulties faced by everyone here, so this time I have specially applied to the higher authorities to give you a chance to take medicine for free.”

While Chen Dongji was speaking, a staff member handed them several sheets of A4 paper with a few big words on it - Disclaimer on Drug Human Experiments.

Although most of the patients here are older and less knowledgeable, they all understand the word ”experiment” on the paper.

”Why is it an experiment?”

”Didn’t they say that it has been successfully developed?”

“Is there any risk in eating this?”

All the patients looked at Lao Jin in unison, wanting him to give an explanation.

Lao Jin was also a little panicked.

He didn’t know about this either. Chen Dongji told him that the drug had been successfully developed, but he only found out after coming here that it was just an experiment?
Isn’t this treating these patients as guinea pigs?
Even though everyone here is suffering from a terminal illness, I still feel uncomfortable at this moment.

Chen Dongji on the stage smiled and said, ”Everyone, I know you all have some doubts in your hearts, why do you have to sign this agreement.”

”In fact, this is a necessary process. People may not be aware that a drug must go through three stages from research and development to its actual launch on the market.”

”The first stage is laboratory experiments, the second stage is animal experiments, and the third stage is human experiments.”

“The emergence of every drug requires the efforts of many people. In addition to scientific researchers, the most important ones are experimenters, or pioneers!”

As he said this, Chen Dongji looked at the dozens of patients present.

”Think about it, how many patients die from cancer every year? If you have the opportunity to change this situation, don’t you want to contribute to it?”

It has to be said that Chen Dongji has good eloquence. In just a few words, he connected human experiments with ”righteousness”.

For a moment, the patients all felt some empathy.

Of course, the people who understand the patients’ suffering best are the patients themselves.

At this time Chen Dongji continued.

”I know everyone is still worried about whether human experiments are safe. I think everyone does not need to worry, because our medicine is made from pure Chinese medicine.”

”Even if it has no effect, it will basically not cause any harm to the body. This agreement and statement is just a formality.”

”If anyone doesn’t want to, feel free to leave.”

Chen Dongji looked at dozens of patients. They looked at each other, but no one stood up.

He smiled.

Because he knew these patients would not leave.

Currently, there is only one drug on the market that can inhibit cancer, and that is Huaming Pharmaceutical, not to mention that it is free!
really.

The patients looked at each other, and then a few of them signed the statement indifferently.

Someone took the lead, and others followed suit and signed the statement.

No one went out.

After signing.

The staff collected the statements and placed a pill and a bottle of water in front of each patient.

The patients picked up the pills curiously and looked at them. Some of them smelled them and found that the pills were indeed very similar to the pills sold by Cheng Ming. As to whether the efficacy was the same, it was unknown.

”Everyone, take the pills now and you can go back.” Chen Dongji said.

The patients were surprised.

Do we have to eat it on the spot and can’t take it home?
Afraid they’ll leak the secret?
However, with the previous agreement, this was not an excessive request, and the patients took the medicine one after another.
