I reported you for selling fake medicine. If I stop selling it, why are you crying?

Chapter 20 You are just experimental subjectsChapter 20 You are just experimental subjects
Lao Jin came to the 16th floor, Chen Dongji’s office.

He was filled with rage.

Hua Ming had stolen the medicine from Cheng Ming in the first place. Why did Hua Ming treat him like this?
As if they had expected his coming, Chen Dongji’s secretary brought Lao Jin in directly.

As soon as he came in, Lao Jin pointed at Chen Dongji angrily and asked, ”Boss Chen, what do you mean by this? Why did you suddenly stop giving us our medicine?”

Chen Dongji was very calm.

”Hasn’t it been made clear in the conference room? The human trial phase has ended, so there’s no need to continue testing the drug.”

”What about the dozens of us? We spent a lot of effort to get the medicine for you. Now that you have developed the formula, you are going to cross the river and destroy the bridge?”

”But!”

Lao Jin was very angry, but his words were interrupted slowly by Chen Dongji.

”There’s nothing to worry about. The end is the end.”

”You have no idea how valuable those herbs are. Even though we have replaced wild herbs with artificially cultivated ones, you are still taking diluted medicines. But we are supplying medicines to so many people for free every day, and our experimental funds are also very tight.”

Chen Dongji revealed a secret.

Lao Jin was still furious: ”Hua Ming Pharmaceutical is such a big company with a market value of 10 billion, how could it be short of this little money?”

”Real assets are not the same as funds.” Chen Dongji said, ”Besides, the purpose of the experiment is just to prove that this medicine is effective. Do you still need Hua Ming to help you cure your disease?”

Chen Dongji’s words were like a bolt from the blue to Lao Jin!
According to Chen Dongji, Huaming Pharmaceutical has never taken these patients seriously. To Huaming, the value of these dozens of patients is just to verify the efficacy of the drugs!
Everything they said before the experiment started was so nice, it turned out to be just a trick to trick them into coming here to do the experiment. As for the life and death of the patients, they didn’t care at all!
My fellow patients are just being treated as experimental subjects!

Hearing this, Lao Jin was so angry that he was shaking all over.

He held the phone tightly, which contained the recorded evidence of his conspiracy with Chen Dongji to give Cheng Ming’s medicine to Hua Ming.

Suddenly, Lao Jin relaxed his whole body and sat down, but his expression remained grim.

”Give us the medicine.”

”And it has to be undiluted!”

Facing Lao Jin who suddenly became tough, Chen Dongji raised his head and looked at Lao Jin, as if he wanted to see from Lao Jin’s face where he got the confidence from.

Then a recording was played in the office.

[As long as you bring the medicine from Cheng Ming to me, I will provide you with free medicine.]

[As long as you provide the sample, isn’t it easy for us to manufacture it? ]

[Watching him closely? Then why don’t you just call the police and have him arrested? ]

【Have you received the medicine? 】

【Okay, good job.】

Chen Dongji’s pupils shrank and his face became gloomy.

Obviously he didn’t expect that Lao Jin had a trick up his sleeve!
If this recording were to be exposed, it would be very detrimental to Huaming Pharmaceutical.

but.
”If you think you can threaten me with this recording, you’re thinking too much.” Chen Dongji was calmer than Lao Jin had imagined.

”You don’t quite understand the situation.”

”You are now dying patients. Only we, Hua Ming, can save you. If you expose this recording, isn’t that digging your own grave?”

Upon hearing this, Lao Jin was startled.

He knew that what Chen Dongji said was true.

Once this recording is exposed, it will be a lose-lose situation, which means that both sides will be in a complete hostile relationship with Huaming Pharmaceutical. They will then use the excuse that the drugs have not passed the drug approval number and will not have to provide them with drugs.

Moreover, they are just a group of powerless patients. They may not be able to truly influence Huaming Pharmaceutical with just a recording. The only one who can deal with them may be Chen Dongji.

At this time, Chen Dongji said again: ”How about this, you give me the recording and I will give you the medicine, undiluted medicine.”

Chen Dongji’s move was quite clever. He first clarified the positions of both parties, then retreated to advance and put forward his own conditions. But Lao Jin was not a fool.

”It’s impossible to give you the recording. Who knows if you, Mr. Chen, will go back on your word?”

For Lao Jin, the recording is his trump card. How could he possibly hand it over to others?

Moreover, he also saw through Chen Dongji’s character.

If he really handed over the recording, Chen Dongji would definitely kick him out of Huaming Building.

Chen Dongji’s eyes flickered, but he could only nod in the end. He picked up the phone and made a call.

Soon.

His secretary came in with a bottle and placed it in front of Lao Jin.

”This is the medicine developed by our Huaming Pharmaceutical, and it is an undiluted version. The efficacy is at least twice as strong as the version you are taking now.”

Lao Jin looked at the bottle of medicine on the table and didn’t move at first.

”What do you mean? A bottle of medicine? There are more than 40 of us!”

”I can only promise to give the medicine to you, but not to other patients.” Chen Dongji said.

His words were extremely cold, as if the lives of those dozens of patients had nothing to do with him.

Lao Jin’s face darkened.

”We are in this together! We must have enough medicine for all our patients!”

”There is only one person, love or not, if you don’t want it, you can choose to expose it!”

Chen Dongji’s attitude was unexpectedly firm, as if he was sure that Lao Jin would not dare to expose the recording.

The atmosphere became deadlocked again.

Lao Jin was silent for a long time.

After Chen Dongji calmed down, he patiently persuaded Lao Jin: ”Lao Jin, don’t you think about it? You did this all by yourself from beginning to end. It was you who called the police and gave me the medicine. What did those patients do?”

”did nothing!”

“How can they get the medicine?”

”Do you know how much this bottle of medicine costs? Eight thousand dollars! I paid for this medicine for you out of my own pocket.”

”I have no relationship with them, why should I give them so much money for nothing?”

Listening to Chen Dongji’s words, Lao Jin felt uncertain.

He knew that what Chen Dongji said was true. He was the only one who carried out the whole thing from beginning to end, and his fellow patients actually did nothing at all.

He began to persuade himself.

This medicine is what I deserve, why should others get it!

There is another point that Lao Jin is a little concerned about.

That is, the cost of this bottle of medicine is as high as 8,000 yuan! ?
He thought that Cheng Ming should have made most of the profit by selling a bottle for 10,000 yuan, but he didn’t expect the cost to be so high!

It seems that Cheng Ming is not that bad-hearted after all?
What Lao Jin didn’t know was that Huaming Pharmaceutical had arbitrarily replaced some wild medicinal herbs with cultivated ones, so the cost was lower, and Cheng Ming’s cost was actually higher.

He was depressed for a while.

Lao Jin picked up the bottle of medicine on the table and turned to leave.

Behind him, Chen Dongji’s mouth corners slightly raised.
