Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 158 The real battlefield!Chapter 158 The real battlefield!
With one spectacular blow, the void was shattered and matter from tens of thousands of light years away was annihilated, causing a space storm to rage.

Michelle and the others stared at a chaotic projection of the void with dull eyes, their brains seemed to have frozen at this moment. A weapon of this power could completely destroy a galaxy in one blow, and there would be no power to resist unless it was at the conceptual level!
”After the void is healed, you must hurry up and build a new territory, turning this star field into a factory to provide enough manpower for the territory!”

Liu Wen’s voice came from the projection, waking everyone up.

”Yes, Lord!” Michelle, Luo Shaohua and others quickly responded.

Xinghai Territory’s Chief Governor Zhao Nina, Deputy Governor Li Bingzhen, Anna and others all received Laura’s message to mobilize all manpower and material resources to speed up the military construction of the new territory.

A large number of transport ships and engineering ships gathered together, led by dozens of planetary engineering megastructures, and advanced towards the enclave star region. This construction was not for immigration, but only to expand the industrial system structure and increase the production speed of the fleet.

All suitable star systems and wandering stars will be turned into biological warship incubators or covered by energy extraction and conversion equipment to provide energy for production.

The war with the intelligent machines has developed to this point, and it is impossible for both sides to give up.

For intelligent life sequence number 03, eliminating the threat is a necessary measure, but now the threat is no longer a threat, but there is a real possibility of destroying it, so all resources of the territory will be exhausted to fight with the Star Sea Territory.

As for Liu Wen, he is happy to fight with the intelligent machines, as long as the crew casualties do not exceed the limit. After building several star systems, his military strength will no longer be a shortcoming, and he can completely engage in a evenly matched war of attrition with the intelligent machines!

With the wonder in his hand, he will have no problem defending his territory from invasion. The next battlefield choice will be in the middle of the territories of both sides. No matter how fierce the war is, it will not affect the homeland.

He also hoped that through this protracted war, he could accumulate some conceptual scientific and technological information, allowing the territory to break through the limitations of the ninth-level technology tree and officially enter the god-level civilization of the universe!

”Wen Fei, contact Zhu Jianqiao. I want to know the current scientific research progress of the territory.” Liu Wen said to his secretary.

”Okay, Lord.” Wen Fei, the chief secretary general, has a very low presence in the territory. Most of what he does is to inspect and attend meetings in various places in the territory on behalf of Liu Wen. Most of the secretarial work is instead given to Shirley.

The reason for being here this time is to develop the 106th galaxy. He brought the governing personnel here to investigate the environment of the 106th galaxy and prepare to plan the next work tasks.

Soon after receiving the notification, the projection of Zhu Jianqiao, the director of the Xinghai Territory Research Institute, appeared in front of Liu Wen: ”Greetings, Lord.”

”Old Zhu, you have been the director of the research institute for more than 30 years. You have been in charge of the research institute since the Xinghai Group.” Liu Wen was helpless with this subordinate. Zhu Jianqiao’s scientific research ability was very ordinary among a group of scientific researchers, but his desire for power was very strong. He always held the position of director of the research institute and took care of everything himself. He could be called a new generation of model worker.

But he doesn’t need this kind of model worker. You take care of everything. The huge scientific research institute has a mountain of affairs every day. The things that need to be handled by a scientific research department with more than 100 million people are not something that can be run by one person even with the help of an intelligent center.

Therefore, in the past few years, according to Laura’s calculations, the research efficiency of the research institute has decreased by more than 20%, which he cannot tolerate. Even if you are the backbone of the territory’s development, it is absolutely unacceptable if it affects the territory’s development progress.

Zhu Jianqiao looked at Liu Wen with a slightly haggard face. He was frightened for a moment when he heard his question, and he obviously sensed that there was a question in his words.

He answered cautiously, ”Yes, sir. When Xinghai Group was recruiting researchers, I was the first third-level researcher to apply for the position and was responsible for heading the group’s research department.”

”Old Zhu, I heard that the operation of the scientific research institute is not very flexible nowadays, and many scientific research projects need to queue up to wait for scientific research materials and equipment. Is this true?” Liu Wen shook his head secretly. He was smart, but if he didn’t want to respond, then I would just point it out directly.

Zhu Jianqiao immediately knew what he wanted to say. The scientific research progress in recent years has indeed slowed down, and he knew the reason very well, which was that he was too slow in signing approvals. After all, all approvals of scientific research materials required his signature, and in order to sign and stamp, he had to know what the project was researching and whether certain materials and equipment were needed. Even with an intelligent center to assist in calculations, it would still take time. As time went by, the delayed time gradually accumulated and eventually it became what it is now.

”My Lord, the review of scientific research projects is indeed a bit slow, but this is a necessary process. Otherwise, it is easy to waste resources. Although the territory is not short of resources now, it cannot be wasted like this!” Zhu Jianqiao explained immediately.

Liu Wen nodded. The approval of scientific research projects is a necessary thing and it absolutely cannot be missed.

”There is no problem with the approval of scientific research projects, but you are the only one who approves them. How can this be? Does the research institute have no other staff besides you?”

”Old Zhu, you have been following me from the beginning, so you should be very clear about my attitude. I have always emphasized the progress of scientific research projects. On the basis of existing scientific and technological theoretical knowledge, we must master and improve it as quickly as possible, push the territory’s technological level to the highest level, and cultivate more technological leaders and pioneers.”

”But now, the delayed approval of scientific research projects, chaotic management, and slow progress are things I cannot tolerate. Do you understand?”

Zhu Jianqiao lowered his head and said nothing for a while before he said, ”My Lord, I understand.”

”Laura has drawn up a list of management changes for the research institute. When you go back, make the changes according to the list and get the research projects up and running as soon as possible.”

”Yes! My Lord.” Zhu Jianqiao was very worried that he would be removed from his post at this moment, but his thoughts could not interfere with Liu Wen’s orders.

”Old Zhu, what progress has the research institute made in terms of the technology tree?” Liu Wen asked the main question.

Zhu Jianqiao quickly replied: ”We have just completed the research of the seventh-level technology tree. The main branches of the eighth-level technology have been completed, and we are moving towards branch technology. In addition, some ninth-level technology theories are in the process of public relations. The relevant departments have applied for the experimental report, and I believe it will be completed soon.”

”That is to say, at present, the eighth-level technology has only solved the main scientific and technological theories. What about the application? Can the eighth-level rule technology enter industrial production? Or can it only be prepared on a small scale in the laboratory?”

”My Lord, the eighth-level rule-level technological warships can already be mass-produced, but the current level of development of applied technology is not high. It can only be considered ordinary among technological civilizations of the same level and has no advantages.”

”In addition, the existing industrial system structure cannot complete assembly line production and needs to be fully upgraded. It is estimated that it will take a year to complete the full upgrade.”

Hearing Zhu Jianqiao’s words, Liu Wen frowned. It would take a year, which was not feasible. Now was the war period, and a large number of rule-class battleships were urgently needed to escort the conventional fleet. Spending a year to upgrade the relevant industrial system meant that level 7 rule-class battleships could not be produced in this year, and they could only rely on the existing mechanical legion and some biological battleships to serve as the backbone.

”Is it possible to build a new industrial system and separate it from the seven-level rule system? Will it interfere with existing industrial production?” ”Uh!” Zhu Jianqiao didn’t know how to answer for a moment. After thinking for a while, he spoke cautiously.

”My Lord, the technological barrier between level 7 and level 8, upgrading the level 7 industrial system to the level 8 industrial system, is not much different from a complete reconstruction. Basically, all important equipment needs to be updated before it can operate.”

”Then simply rebuild an industrial system and establish an eighth-level industrial system in the microcosm. I will allocate one hundred stars to you, and these one hundred star systems will be converted into industrial star systems. Contact the engineering department and speed up the progress. Wars are becoming more and more frequent, and there is a great demand for high-end military forces!”

”Yes, Lord!” Zhu Jianqiao felt relieved when he heard that he was to be responsible for the construction of the industrial system. This meant that the lord had no intention of completely removing him and was just giving him a warning.

”By the way, what is the manufacturing progress of the Imperial System? And what about the production progress of those newly upgraded special warships?” Liu Wen asked again.

Zhu Jianqiao retrieved the relevant information: ”After the adjustment of the imperial power system, some energy consumption has been reduced. The corresponding production plan has also been formulated and has entered the approval stage.”

”According to calculations, the combat capability of the first-generation Imperial Power System will be about 5% higher than that of the test aircraft, energy consumption will be reduced by 15%, the strike distance will be increased by 40%, and the volume will be reduced by 20%. The estimated construction time is half a month.”

”Due to time constraints, the optimization has only been completed to this stage. The relevant team is currently conducting intensive research and development. It is expected that within a year, the Imperial Power system will be fully upgraded to complete the research and development of shipborne equipment.”

Liu Wen nodded. It would only take half a month. This refers to the time required for the first ship to be produced on the assembly line. Once production starts, naturally more than one ship will be produced. The assembly time interval in the same factory is about three hours. That means that after half a month, when the factory is fully operational, he will be able to obtain eight sets of the first-generation imperial power system within one day.

This speed is not slow, but for a large number of intelligent fleets, eight sets a day, how many warships can be destroyed if all are deployed? It is just a drop in the bucket, and the threat is almost non-existent. What’s more, the next step is the real tough battle. The real main force of intelligent machines will join the battle. It is very likely that high-level regular warships and even conceptual-level weapons from Sequence 01 and even the intelligent mother body will join the battlefield.

The pressure is huge, but now that he has a wonder in his hand, he is not afraid of the opponent’s conceptual-level weapons. After using them once, neither side will use them easily again. Next, it will be time for the rule-level battleships to dominate the battlefield.

After understanding the progress of scientific research, Liu Wen also knew that it was not easy to develop to this stage. Even with a ready-made technology tree, it would not be possible for everyone to reach level eight in twenty or thirty years and touch level nine technology.

The reason why the research institute was able to accomplish this feat was entirely because Laura was responsible for the calculations behind the scenes, which solved most of the verification time. In addition, the continuously expanding number of scientific researchers and one billion scientific researchers working day and night have achieved the current scientific research results.

It is basically impossible to increase the speed further, unless we have a few technological pioneers to lead the team.

Thinking of this, Liu Wen was suddenly stunned. It seemed that he had not thought of ways to strengthen scientific researchers for a long time. The golden finger had a hundred-fold increase in power, but he was so busy fighting and getting scientific information that he forgot about it because the progress was so fast.

After thinking about it for a while, he looked at the four options that were still on the golden finger reward interface, and then dialed Jack’s number.

”Boss, what do you want from me?” Jack’s projection soon appeared in front of Liu Wen. Looking at the background, Jack seemed to be still in a star system, and a huge red giant star behind him was erupting a solar storm.

”Jack, I have an idea and I need you to lead a team on a trip.”

Jack asked curiously, ”Isn’t the most important thing now to build the biological battleship incubator? Is there anything more urgent than this?”

”It’s like this. The current scientific research progress is a bit slow. I hope you can take the fleet to explore various galaxies in the star field and bring back all the scientific researchers from alien civilizations to me alive.” Liu Wen said meaningfully.

Jack was stunned. It was easy to ask for scientific researchers from alien civilizations. He just needed to take the fleet on a trip. But it was also really difficult. After all, what was needed was not just one civilization, but all the alien civilizations in many galaxies. Even if the fleet was divided into one ship, it would not be enough. A large number of fleets were needed for defense on the front line. After the withdrawal, what if the intelligent machines raided the territory?
”You go directly with your fleet, starting from the star systems near the territory. The faster the better.”

”What about the front line?” Jack asked.

”There’s no problem at the front line. The Omnics can’t defeat us for now. I’ll handle it. All you have to do is bring those researchers back as soon as possible.”

”Okay, I understand. I’ll go now.”

”Take away all the mechanical legions, biological legions, and star fleets. Disperse and attack. Tell those alien civilizations that they can either take away the scientific researchers or destroy the civilization and then take away the scientific researchers. They will make a wise choice.” Liu Wen reminded.

”Then boss, why don’t we just send a notice to the alien civilizations within our sphere of influence? It doesn’t have to be all that matters, we just want half of their scientific researchers to prevent them from doing anything desperate and wasting time.” Jack suggested.

”Okay, it’s up to you. Just make sure you bring back all the scientific researchers from most of the civilizations in the developed star field.” Liu Wen thought about it and agreed. It was indeed best not to take action. Although these ordinary level six civilizations could be crushed, it would ultimately be a waste of time and energy. At most, they could do it again in ten or twenty years. With each successive harvest, the scientific research strength of the territory would surely skyrocket, and the popularization and application of level nine technology would no longer be a matter of decades or even hundreds of years.

Jack took the order and set off, and the relevant mobilization authority was also issued.

Immediately afterwards, Liu Wen turned his attention to the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy. Now that the fleet has been withdrawn, he has to be careful with the intelligent civilization and not let the other side show up too quickly.

”Sequence 03, I challenge you to a fight. Three months from now, we will have a decisive battle in Star Field 502. During this time, neither you nor I can use super-rule power. Please assemble your fleet.”

The message of clear invitation to war was sent to the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy through hyperspace communication. The intelligent life 03 who received the message was very confused about what the Star Sea Territory wanted to do.
