Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 152: 3 Mechanical LegionsChapter 152 Thirty Thousand Mechanical Legions
”Laura, you must immediately start to build a batch of Imperial Power System equipment. The sooner the better. You can mobilize all industrial equipment. Before the biological army of the 106 star systems is fully formed, you must build as many as you can!”

The current battlefield situation is unclear, but with the support of the territory, the expedition fleet led by Luo Shaohua and others will not be completely wiped out. As long as they can delay until the biological fleet is formed and joins the battlefield, then everything will still be in time!

”As you command, my lord.” Laura summoned a dozen projection screens, and rows of data analysis models flowed and switched rapidly. In less than two minutes, she had integrated the industrial production lines needed to manufacture the imperial system.

”Dear Lord, according to your order, the manufacturing line of the Imperial System has been integrated.”

”This involves a total of more than 587,000 factories and 300 transport fleets. It is expected that the production of the first Imperial System will be completed in one and a half months. After three hours of verification, more than 12,000 Imperial Systems will be built within three months. The accompanying composite energy reactor power supply system will be manufactured simultaneously.”

”In order to better improve the energy supply system structure, a large-scale energy absorption, conversion and compression equipment will be built in Galaxy 106 and the five nearby star systems within the radiation range of the near territory to provide energy guarantee for the large-scale deployment of the Imperial System.”

”The plan will be completed within nine months after mobilizing the engineering ships of the territories and affiliated races. It is expected that the conventional combat capability of 71,000 Imperial Power systems will be achieved within a year.”

Liu Wen frowned and shook his head helplessly. The territory’s industrial construction capabilities were still a little lacking. Even if there was no shortage of resources, it would still take a full year to complete the upgrade of the territory’s defense system and the deployment of the imperial system of the conventional fleet.

”The energy problem is getting more and more serious. Even though there are many production equipment and the energy gathering speed has exceeded the daily derived energy scale of several star systems, it is still not enough for the territory. A large number of high-end equipment are stranded due to limited energy supply. They only stay on the test machine and cannot be assigned to the combat fleet. This is like having a treasure mountain but not being able to use it. It’s really maddening!”

Liu Wen, looking a little tired, didn’t care how Laura was doing. As long as he gave the order and granted Laura the corresponding authority, everything would be carried out according to the optimal solution. Laura controlled all industries, networks, intelligence, etc. in the territory. It could be said that the territory could do without Liu Wen, but it could not do without her.

”Try to speed up the process. The unimportant conventional warships that affect production should be stopped. Without the protection of high-end military forces, these conventional warships can only bully ordinary interstellar civilizations. A few less won’t be a problem.”

”Laura understands.” Laura pulled out another data projection, showing a part of the special equipment that had frozen the territory.

”My Lord, the Sera Industrial Zone, Bonucci Industrial Zone, and Microcosm Industrial Zone will gradually reduce the production of conventional warships by 40% to expand the production capacity of supporting equipment.”

”According to the calculation of the central matrix, with the current combat power of the biological warships in the territory and the subsequent production efficiency, compared with the explosive speed of the intelligent machine civilization, there is still a 70% chance of defeat. I suggest activating planetary-level mechanical megastructures to produce mechanical warships to expand conventional forces. According to the current production efficiency of planetary-level mechanical megastructures, the victory rate can be increased to 43%.”

”What else? If we put magnetic battle stars, strong and weak force decomposition light effects and other special equipment into the battlefield, without seeking a winning rate but just delaying, how long can we resist the intelligent machine civilization?” Liu Wen asked.

”My Lord, according to the report submitted by the Research Institute, the stability of special weapons such as the new magnetic storm battle stars and strong and weak force decomposition rays has not yet been resolved. Their effects on the battlefield are more likely to affect friendly forces than the damage they cause to the enemy. Therefore, it is not recommended to put them into use now.” Laura persuaded.

”After such a long time, there is no improvement at all?” Liu Wen was puzzled. These special warship models have existed for a long time, but with the updating and iteration of technology, they gradually failed to keep up with the enemy’s strength, and their effectiveness decreased too much, making the cost-effectiveness too low, so their upgrades were frozen.

But it has been so many years now, and with a complete set of scientific and technological information available, haven’t we found the technology to upgrade it?

”My Lord, according to the design plan, these special weapons are now able to threaten the level 7 technological battleships to a certain extent in theory. However, the integration between the various systems is not complete, which makes it impossible to put them into actual combat. According to the report updated last month, it is expected that they will be fully operational within the next one to three years. As far as the current situation is concerned, it is best not to use them in actual combat to avoid causing damage to our side.” Laura persuaded as if it was for your own good.

Well, half of these special weapons have special effects on intelligent warships. Now they cannot be used, so we can only give them up temporarily.

”Let the relevant scientific research teams speed up. So much scientific research funds are consumed every year, but this is not a waste. The ready-made scientific and technological information cannot be improved for a long time. I even suspect that they are using the scientific research funds to do other things.” Although Liu Wen was complaining, there are really many such things. Scientific researchers also have their own ideas. When the conditions are right, they will easily spend the scientific research funds to do their own research. When the funds are not large, an experimental error can be covered up.

”Show me the battlefield projection, let me see what the battle looks like!”

On the void battlefield, Luo Shaohua’s First Army, Bai Haitang’s Second Army, and Chen Wen’s Third Army supported each other, forming a rolling triangular defense formation to resist the attack of the intelligent fleet.

In addition to conventional intelligent warships, the intelligent army that appeared this time also had several additional advanced warships. Their combat effectiveness far exceeded that of conventional warships, and they were not afraid of life and death. They made the Star Sea Fleet very uncomfortable. The lord fleets and vassal race fleets that followed the army suffered heavy losses. If Luo Shaohua and others had not rescued them in time and rotated them down, they would have been defeated in no time.

On the battlefield, groups of people charged forward with human wave tactics to consume the mechanical clearing corps, which were equipped with killing systems. They were mainly centered on fortress-class motherships, carrying hundreds of millions of armed robots.

These armed robots are very flexible in space and small in size, but their combat power is not low. Their long-range weapons are two antimatter energy cannons, and their unit damage can reach three hundred degrees. The most important thing is that this thing relies on self-detonation after approaching the target to hurt the enemy, and its power can reach two thousand degrees of damage.

After adding the killing system, in conjunction with the mothership’s particle transmission equipment, it can be powerfully transmitted to the interior of the battleship from time to time. Often a few armed robots can take away a battleship. The cost-effectiveness can be said to be off the charts!
The second is the doomsday mecha combat group, equipped with an annihilation system.

This is a combat cluster unit composed mainly of advanced mechanical armor, supplemented by logistical ships. They are huge in size, like standing warships. Their long-range strike capability is not strong, or even non-existent. Their main weapon is a space-time wave blade in their hands. With the bound and broken space-time as the blade, combined with powerful energy supply output, a single cut can cut the composite shield and armor of the battleship in half, making it impossible to defend.

Only ships above the Dreadnought class can withstand a few more attacks because of their large size, but once an enemy gets close, they will be doomed.

It is precisely because of the emergence of these two combat clusters that their frantic attack on the defensive formation is faced with internal harassment from time to time. Even if the space anchor has locked time and space, it still cannot stop the opponent’s particle transmission.

After the two combat groups blocked the Star Fleet, a large number of fleets poured out of the wormhole channel at the rear and surrounded the Star Fleet again. Because the Star Fleet was entangled, it could not escape at all and could only watch as the intelligent fleet surrounded them.

Tens of thousands of intelligent machine armies formed a huge encirclement. Because of the previous breakout, they even specially built three encirclements. The warships equipped with numerous naval guns pressed them firmly in the central area.

After completing the encirclement, the intelligent army began to slowly close the pocket. The fleet advanced in a staggered and orderly manner. The energy beams shot out from the naval guns interspersed and bloomed with each other, causing the Star Sea Fleet to suffer more attacks every moment, and there were almost no blind spots. Even from within the fleet formation, a large number of naval guns would still fire.

The Star Fleet’s casualty rate rose rapidly. Conventional defensive formations could no longer withstand such fierce firepower projection. Even a powerful Titan super flagship could not withstand a round of enemy salvos. The energy columns of the twisting void were able to break through the thick composite shields, and then melt large holes with a diameter of hundreds of meters in the battleship’s armor, eventually penetrating layers of isolation chambers, destroying the reactor and causing it to self-destruct and disintegrate.

”We can’t go on like this. According to the current losses, we won’t be able to hold out for even three hours before we are completely wiped out here. Can we still use that set of imperial equipment to destroy those special armed robots and mecha troops?”

Chen Wen’s forehead was covered with sweat. His mind was connected to the command center, and the highly-functioning brain nerves had already pushed his workload to the limit.

Bai Haitang also seemed a little anxious. As a commander, he should have remained calm even in the face of disaster, but the current situation was too bad. It was comparable to the previous total war when the human fleet was surrounded by hostile ships.

But at that time there were still various conceptual-level weapons to save the situation. Now they don’t even have level nine rule-level weapons. Those who have reached level eight can only protect the fleet from being taken away by a wave of rule-level weapons from the intelligent mechanical fleet. They cannot cause more damage to the enemy, let alone lead them to break through.

Luo Shaohua is also feeling very uncomfortable now. Although there are commanders of branch fleets to relieve the pressure, the thousands of legions of the entire army group need to be adjusted at any time. The huge computing requirements make his brain work at high speed. His own energy is no longer able to sustain the needs of his body. He can only lie in the safety cabin and rely on the high-energy nutrient solution provided by the safety cabin to sustain his own needs.

”They haven’t repaired it yet. Many parts are damaged and unusable. They are being manufactured manually in the engineering ship with the help of its instruments and equipment. The efficiency is very low and the yield rate is too low. There is not enough energy to supply the equipment to start up. We can only hope that the reinforcements from the territory will come quickly and provide us with some firepower to reduce the pressure on the fleet.”

”Damned omnics, why do they have to keep chasing us? We haven’t even dug up their ancestors’ graves!” Bai Haitang was obviously a little furious. He had survived a total war without any harm, but now there was a high possibility that he would die at the hands of the omnics. It was really embarrassing!
She was not the only one who felt unbalanced. Most of the senior officers in the fleet were promoted after a total war, so their combat qualities were very high. They were still able to command operations effectively in the face of such difficulties. This was why the Star Sea Fleet still maintained a high level of combat effectiveness and did not completely collapse.

After one hour of fighting, the Star Fleet had suffered more than 3,000 casualties out of more than 10,000 legions, and the fleet’s energy was severely depleted. After several wars without effective replenishment, it was now on the verge of running out of energy.

If this continues, the fleet can only hold out for one more day at most before its energy reserves are completely exhausted. By then, even if the fleet still exists, it will be just a lamb to be slaughtered.

After more than an hour’s sailing, the rescue fleet led by Michelle has now reached the vicinity of the battlefield. However, there is a space anchor on the battlefield, and the fleet cannot directly jump into the battlefield. It can only reach the periphery and move forward by conventional navigation. This way, the speed is naturally not fast. The distance of dozens of light hours is too far for sub-light speed navigation, and there is no way to rescue the Star Fleet in time.

Therefore, Michelle did not choose to lead the fleet to meet with the Star Fleet to help the other side break through the siege, but chose the strategy of besieging Wei to save Zhao and attack the wormhole channel of the intelligent machine.

Because of the instability of space in the wormhole area, one can only jump to a void beyond light time, but this distance is much more convenient than joining the battlefield.

The wormhole channel is still seeping out mechanical armies continuously, causing the number of intelligent mechanical armies on the battlefield to increase and their firepower to become more and more fierce.

After leading the fleet to the vicinity of the wormhole channel, Michelle decisively chose to start a war, attracting the army of intelligent machines pouring out of the wormhole channel and slowing down the troops supporting the front line.

Just after Michelle led the fleet to the wormhole channel and started a war with the intelligent fleet, the mechanical legion led by Liu Wen was also led back by his subordinates. There were more than 30,000 legions, with the lowest level of combat power being seven. Rule-level battleships had become the standard configuration of the legion. The core of the legion was a legion composed of nine-level rule-level battleships.

After this huge fleet was brought back and it was determined that physical control was needed, Liu Wen arranged for the Queen Mother to produce the corresponding controlled Zerg.

This is easy. The queen has already built her own nest. Although it is still very weak and needs more substances and materials to upgrade, the basic breeding ability of the swarm has not weakened.

What’s more, what Liu Wen wanted was not some high-level combat bug, but just a bug of the corresponding size that was convenient for controlling the mechanical battleship.
