Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 139 Territorial Diplomacy, Expeditionary Fleet DepartureChapter 139 Territorial Diplomacy, Expeditionary Fleet Departure

The Thorn Birds gazed at the star system in front of them through an optical lens. A series of space fortresses surrounded the Kuiper Belt objects in the star system, forming a well-defended blockade.

Every ten minutes, a patrol fleet passes by, and various detection radar stations stand openly in the void. Between the flashing indicators, a scanning radar passes across their fleet, performing identity verification, warship coding, friend-or-foe identification code, energy intensity detection, fire control radar detection, etc. They have experienced this five times since entering this star system fifteen light years ago.

If there is any mistake at any time, their fleet will be greeted by long-range fire coverage from the defense system.

The Thornbirds were not surprised at the Star Sea Territory’s caution. This was the defensive system structure that every new territory would establish. It was just that the Star Sea Territory did it more thoroughly. At the same time, it also had enough strength to suppress outsiders and make them act according to their rules.

The fleet passed the border checkpoint, then docked in the designated area and transferred to a small cruise ship to the third planet.

After finally arriving on the ground of Planet No. 3 via the shuttle, Emperor Huang Territory’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Qiu Chuyun adjusted his official hat and said to the Thornbirds, who were dressed in casual clothes, ”You’re going down in this?”

”What else?” The Thornbird asked without even turning his head and looking at the welcoming procession outside.

”You are too casual. After all, you are an envoy of a territory, a diplomatic envoy between countries. How can you be so rude? If you don’t have an official uniform, at least change into a decent casual clothes. What’s the matter with wearing tight clothes? You are not going to fight.” Qiu Chuyun persuaded while tying the knot of his official uniform.

The Thorn Birds only looked at him at this time as if he were an idiot: ”Etiquette?”

He pointed to the more than 20 territorial envoys huddled together and said, ”What kind of etiquette is this?”

Qiu Chuyun turned his head and looked behind him. A shuttle was rated to carry 25 people, but now it was crammed with more than 80 people, more than three times the capacity.

No one would believe that the Xinghai Territory didn’t even have enough shuttles to welcome the envoys, but the other party did it anyway. It was obvious that they intended to give them a warning, so that they would wake up and understand whose territory this was and why they were here.

Thinking of this, Qiu Chuyun also touched his chin and thought for a while. He came here to ask for favors. His territory was already inferior to others. Now he needed help from others. It seemed that it would not be a problem to be lowered to a lower level. Was the current treatment too bad? That didn’t matter. He was already two levels lower than others. What kind of treatment did he want? He just wanted to get favors and make money. What did a bad attitude mean? At least the other party was willing to talk. There was hope. It was about making money. He was not afraid!

After figuring it out, he said to the Thornbirds with an experienced look on his face: ”As a senior, I have to remind you that we are here to ask others to take us with us, not the other way around, do you understand?”

The thornbird turned his head away speechlessly. The other party’s attitude was so bad. Even if the deal was reached, the price to pay would be very high. So how much benefit would be left in the end?
Thinking back to the first time I met that man, he was standing in front of a modified gunboat with who knows how many hands it had, and he didn’t care about the invitation from the three companies. When I investigated at that time, I felt that their rise was very strange. They earned millions of credit points just a few days after leaving the Infant and Child Care Center.

At that time, because the team encountered problems in exploring the ruins, they planned to deal with that for a while before bringing the other party into the team.

As a result, it wasn’t long before Paradise Island was destroyed by the Butcher and his guards. Pirate groups of all sizes were wiped out, and only some pirates who were well prepared and already out there survived.

More than ten years later, when they met each other again, he had become a lord who had expanded his territory and owned a small star field consisting of several star systems.

Although she was shocked at that time, she thought about what her team had obtained from exploring the ruins, and felt that they would soon surpass the other party.

However, what was unexpected was that the other side was out of control and inexplicably formed a joint fleet. After the establishment of the commercial zone, a huge amount of resources were sent back to the territory. Hundreds of civilizations and the manpower and material resources of the territory drove the Star Sea Territory to take off.

It was not until then that she realized that the Rose Team would probably never catch up with the other team, let alone surpass it.

In the subsequent dimensional wars, total wars, Zerg invasions, etc., the Star Sea Territory will become stronger after each war, with various weapons emerging in an endless stream, and technology being even more advanced each time. Now the other side has even mass-produced level 7 rule-level battleships, which means that the Star Sea Territory has officially become an advanced interstellar civilization.

If the Star Sea Territory was not too small, with a population of just over 100 billion, limited territory and limited resources, the Star Sea Territory would have a place if thrown into the interstellar universe alone. It would have initially escaped the stage of being on the verge of collapse and become a new predator.

The Thornbirds came to their senses and walked out of the shuttle with the crowd. The staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stood beside the welcoming convoy and waited for a long time.

Zhou Siyu from the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stepped forward and said, ”On behalf of Xinghai Territory, I welcome all the envoys. Please get in the car.”

With just a few polite words, the envoys were sent onto the hovercraft and headed to the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before they even had the chance to introduce themselves.

In the territory’s administrative building, Liu Wen was also discussing the issues regarding these envoys with Mo Yan.

Mo Yan asked: ”Lord, how do we set the standards for the requirements of these human territories?”

Liu Wen smiled and shook his head: ”It’s enough to teach them a lesson. They are really anxious this time. It’s understandable that the wording is a bit messy. You just need to adjust it appropriately, and the rest can be handled normally.”

”I see.” Did Mo Yan not know what to do? He knew it very well, otherwise he would not be able to sit in the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs. But knowing is one thing, but if the leader does not know about the achievements, what is the difference between doing nothing?
”By the way, you can mention our star-grabbing plan appropriately to see if anyone is willing to be a vanguard. You can also give them more opportunities. They are all human lords and have come through the war together. If you can help, then give them a hand.” Liu Wen said again.

Mo Yan nodded thoughtfully: ”I understand.”

After saying goodbye, Mo Yan just returned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs when the Secretary-General handed him a bunch of interview requests: ”They are very anxious now. They have submitted the applications twice!”

Mo Yan smiled and said, ”Let’s put the meeting on tomorrow. We have to meet eventually.”

The Secretary General nodded in understanding and left with the documents.

The next day, dozens of territorial envoys gathered in the meeting room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, quietly waiting for Mo Yan’s arrival. They had already discussed everything that needed to be discussed along the way, so everyone was relatively restrained, and each of them closed their eyes and rested, waiting for the final discussion results.

Mo Yan walked into the conference room and stepped onto the podium amid everyone’s slightly anxious gazes: ”Welcome all envoys, I am Mo Yan.”

”The Lord has already known the purpose of your visit, and has specifically instructed me to satisfy your requests.”

”But the territory’s star-grabbing plan has been deployed, and the number of places available to you is very limited, and the risk is very high. This made me hesitate for a while. For the Star Sea Territory, it is a dangerous combat target, and it may cost a lot to your territory. Therefore, I have been unable to make up my mind.”

When everyone heard that Xinghai Territory was willing to take them to play, they all breathed a sigh of relief. What does it matter if the places are limited? As long as people are willing, it is not impossible to squeeze in the limited places. The places are like women’s trenches. If you squeeze, there will always be some. If it really doesn’t work, can’t you just exclude some people?

The Thornbird was the first to stand up and said, ”Minister Mo, our Rose Territory has been fighting with your territory for more than a decade. We have been your staunch supporter since we first came to explore the star field. Over the past few decades, we have never missed dozens of wars, big and small, and this war will be no exception!”

Qiu Chuyun was stunned by what he said. Didn’t you look indignant yesterday? Why are you acting like a loyal brother today? Where is your pride? Where is your face?

After coming to his senses, Qiu Chuyun quickly stood up and shouted in the midst of everyone’s self-recommendations: ”Minister Mo, my Dihuang Territory is your territory’s military ally. Since the signing of the alliance agreement, my territory has never backed down. In every war, we have fully supported your territory. This time, my Dihuang Territory will also unconditionally support your territory’s expedition plan. The twenty legions of the territory are at your disposal.”

”Bah! Shameless!” The messenger from the other side became unhappy when he heard the two playing the emotional card and acting like loyal brothers. It was as if everyone had accompanied the Star Sea Territory all the way here, and who didn’t have some qualifications to be able to come here today?
Everyone started flipping through their merit books, bringing out their past achievements as qualifications to curry favor with others, hoping to gain extra points and get a spot.

As everyone began to recount their deeds, it slowly turned into a quarrel. The cause was that when one territory was recounting its achievements, it accidentally stepped on another territory, which immediately angered the other territory and started to dig up old grudges. Then it inadvertently provoked other territories, and the war quickly spread to all territories.

”How dare you say that? When the combined fleet was first established, you were the third group to join. After joining, you only cared about getting benefits. The fleets that were assigned to service were all inferior, with warships that were who knows how many years old being used. The best warships were used to escort the trade fleet.”

”Bullshit! Do you think I don’t know? Those space pirates who robbed the trade fleet had a share of your territory. Do you really think that no one will recognize it without the code?”

”During the Dimensional War, our territory was the last to be immigrated. All the factories were providing logistical support for the frontline fleet even after the evacuation.”

”Were you the last ones to evacuate? I don’t even want to tell you the truth, but that’s because all your transport ships were used to transport mineral resources. There were too many immigrants and assets in the territory, so there weren’t enough spaceships. You waited until the front-line transport fleet returned before evacuating with your belongings. You looked like misers!”

……

Mo Yan blinked his eyes and watched everyone quarreling quietly. Among the things they revealed, there were many things that the territory intelligence department didn’t know about. Now was the time to fill in the information, and it would be bad to interrupt them.

Throughout the whole day, everyone argued endlessly, and until the meeting was adjourned, no quota had been allocated.

When the meeting started the next day, everyone started arguing again, but this time they seemed to be more restrained and kept the scope of the argument suppressed.

On the third day of the meeting, everyone finally calmed down and submitted combat applications one after another, expressing their willingness to unconditionally join the Star Sea Territory’s combat sequence to repay the Star Sea Territory for leading them out of the shadow of war.

After communicating with the headquarters, Mo Yan assigned the quotas according to the plan. He wanted all of them, and added the fleets of all the territories to the three expedition fleets to cooperate with the biological fleet as the vanguard.

Part of the information about the Star-Grabbing Plan was also opened to them, and the territory’s arms trade also liberalized many weapons that were subject to trade restrictions.

The Star Sea Territory expedition plan was thus leaked. Some alien civilizations obtained some intelligence from somewhere and leaked the information that the Star Sea Territory was about to set out on an expedition, causing all alien civilizations within the territory’s radiation range to feel insecure and military expenditures to increase several times.

Three years passed in a flash, and the Star Sea Territory Star-Grabbing Plan, which had been prepared for three years, officially began.

The planned fleet built a folding space to hide in it, and a large number of transport ships went in and out of it to deliver supplies to each warship.

The three expedition fleets hid in the folded space and headed straight for their target with Liu Wen’s blessing.

“No matter how the ages change, the flame of humanity will last forever!”

”I wish you all good luck in fighting!”

In the expeditionary fleet, in addition to the thousands of joint legions of the vassal races of the territories, there are also nearly a thousand legions of human territories. In order to get a little more profit, these territories really fought hard and basically withdrew all the main fleets of the territories, leaving only some patrol fleets to be responsible for the security of the territory.

Inside the expedition fleet, Luo Shaohua happily drank wine and celebrated with Bai Haitang and others through the projection.

”Among the targets of this operation, none of them have civilizations that can threaten the fleet. The strongest one only has a level 6 special warship. The damage they inflict is difficult to destroy our ordinary warships in one go under the rule-level protection. Therefore, I think we can be bold and take advantage of our firepower and range to catch them off guard, so as to force them to give up their territory and go to other star regions to survive.”

Bai Haitang had a different view on this: ”The Lord’s meaning is very clear. Although occupying the territory is the top priority, we need to occupy it completely, not a territory where stars explode and planets overturn. Pushing too hard is not a good thing. It is hard to say whether there will be alien civilizations that want to perish together with us.”

Luo Shaohua’s IQ was online at this time. After realizing that he was a little anxious, he decisively admitted his mistake and chose to accept Bai Haitang’s suggestion.
