Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 102 The mantis stalks the cicada and the oriole follows behindChapter 102 The mantis stalks the cicada and the oriole follows behind
The base camp of the galaxy where the intelligent civilization branch sequence with intelligent life sequence number 03-308 is located was actually invaded by the Void Zerg, and the two sides started a full-scale war in the galaxy.

After this information was transmitted back to the Combined Fleet Headquarters, everyone was stunned, and it took a while before someone started shouting excitedly.

“Hahaha! The intelligent machine civilization has also come to this day! Those who used human wave tactics were beaten by the insects who used human wave tactics! Hahaha…”

”No wonder the Omnic Fleet is trying so hard to open up the wormhole. They are preparing a retreat and want to escape here after being defeated!”

”We can’t let them get what they want. I propose that we mobilize the entire fleet to block the wormhole at all costs!”

”I second the motion!”

”Seconded!”

”Agree!”

”In addition, I propose that, when necessary, the combined fleet can reverse the wormhole channel and open up new resource areas for the combined fleet!”

”That’s not necessary. After the defeat of the intelligent machine civilization, the Void Zerg occupying the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy will be equally difficult to deal with. Besides, it will be very difficult for us to defend the wormhole passage by then.”

”Don’t rush this proposal. Wait for the war to progress and consider it based on the situation.”

”As a precaution, the combined fleet enters a state of full mobilization, all affiliated civilizations enter a level one combat readiness state, and the priority of logistical support is raised to level one!”

”Seconded…”

……

Liu Wen smiled as he watched the hundreds of representatives of the civilizations who had been delegated to the site put forward suggestions one after another and attacked each other for their own proposals. It looked exactly like a Blue Star Federation. The only difference was that there were five big men who mastered nuclear weapons there, but there was only him here!
One proposal after another was passed, and the speed was still terribly high even without Liu Wen’s interference. The entire joint fleet was like a dormant machine. After having sufficient energy supply, it ran at full power, with each gear turning non-stop, truly demonstrating the power that this machine should have.

The combined fleet’s combat sequence has been fully assembled, and the logistics fleets of various civilizations have also been urgently called in to provide logistics services to their respective fleets, replenish consumed energy, and perform maintenance and replacement of combat weapons to put the warships into optimal combat condition.

As the second batch of support fleets of one hundred legions arrived at the wormhole battlefield and joined the battle sequence, the attack of the intelligent civilization was forcefully suppressed back to the wormhole entrance. The wreckage of warships in the sky was quickly salvaged and towed away by the subsequent logistics fleet. The wreckage of millions of warships was sent to the space smelting furnace in the rear for remelting and reconstruction, and the wormhole range was once again in full view.

More than 200 legions of troops set up three layers of defense around the wormhole. Under the intensive suppression of naval guns, no matter how the intelligent civilization attacked, they failed to break through the defense line again even after deploying special warships several times.

After the arrival of the third support fleet, the subsequent transport fleet and engineering fleet joined forces to deploy a large number of void artillery jammers and other devices. The defense line became more and more solid, sealing the intelligent machines firmly in the wormhole. There were also salvage ships operating on both sides to quickly tow away the wreckage of the exploded intelligent warships to avoid affecting the battle.

In the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy, biological warships broke in and a large number of detectors were deployed. The intelligence inside the galaxy became more detailed. The war throughout the galaxy slowed down the power of the intelligent civilization. They no longer had much power to blockade the galaxy and could only rely on the pre-set blockade network.

After understanding this, Luo Shaohua and Michelle discussed it and wrote a report to Liu Wen, requesting the mobilization of fifty secondary biological legions to clear the blockade at the edge of the galaxy, deploy more detectors, and comprehensively explore the entire galaxy map to find out where the Void Zerg came from, their military strength, their combat effectiveness, the current status of the intelligent civilization, how many wormholes have been built, where they lead to, and so on.

”What exactly do you want to do? Do you want to stage a mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind?” Liu Wen asked the two with interest.

Michelle and Luo Shaohua’s projections smiled at each other and replied with certainty: ”Lord, we do have this idea. I remember that the Space Technology Research and Development Department of the Research Institute has mastered the wormhole opening technology in the study of wormhole effects. We don’t plan to enter the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy, but we can take over some of the other star regions conquered by the intelligent machine civilization.”

Liu Wen shook his head. ”It’s too far. Even if there is a wormhole, it’s still not worth it for us to control the territory tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of light years away. We don’t have enough population and troops to occupy those places. Moreover, the mineral resources in the star fields occupied by the intelligent civilization have been basically mined out. They are not valuable to us. If we just use them to settle the people, the existing territory is still a long way from being fully developed. There is no need to expand for at least a hundred years.”

Michelle explained: ”My Lord, we really don’t need it, but the alien civilizations in the United Fleet do. We don’t need to pay for these enclaves ourselves. There must be many people in the United Fleet who are willing to pay for it.”

Tapping his fingers on the table, Liu Wen had to admit that Michelle was right. The alien civilizations within the combined fleet all possessed level six technology. Even though some of the fleets were weak in combat, their technological level had indeed passed the level six threshold.

These alien civilizations basically appeared in this star field for various reasons and settled down, which formed the current extremely prosperous ethnic gathering area.

As the number of civilized races increased, an unavoidable problem arose: civilization needed to develop, and development required territory in order to obtain space and resources.

Under normal circumstances, these civilizations fight each other to seize territory for development. Now, after the establishment of the joint fleet, the resources and technologies between them are shared, resulting in rapid development of each civilization. This has to a certain extent covered up the embarrassing situation of insufficient resources in each civilization. However, as time goes by, the resources that each civilization can sell are also limited, and they must also keep enough resources as war reserves just in case. Therefore, the trading volume will gradually decrease over time, although this time may still take several decades.

However, with the increase in resource prices in the current trading market, trade deficits are converging rapidly, and the profit margin is far less than when it was first opened.

This is also one of the reasons why many alien civilizations became excited after learning that the Omnics were invaded by the Void Zerg. It is better to take advantage of the situation to kill them. Now the Combined Fleet does not have the same combat power as the Omnics, but it is no problem to capture a few resource points for destructive excavation. In this way, with the ability of the Combined Fleet to join civilizations, after mobilizing enough manpower and equipment, even a star system can be emptied within a few months.

At the level six civilization, all matter is useful. The materials collected from a star system are enough for a level six civilization to use for dozens or even hundreds of years. As for the losses from the expedition, they can be fully tolerated after being shared out.

The survival of the combined fleet is now an issue that Liu Wen has to consider. If he wants to continue to control this force to develop himself, he must let them see the benefits of being obedient.

Originally, Liu Wen was considering going to war with foreign powers and continuously eroding the civilizations outside the sphere of influence of the Combined Fleet, but now that the war between the Omnic Civilization and the Void Zerg has begun, he has been given a new option. You can always eat grass near your home, but you don’t always have the chance to cause trouble for the Omnic Civilization, not to mention that you can bite off a few pieces of meat from it.

”I can authorize you to use the wormhole opening equipment, but don’t have too high expectations on it. The technology is not mature yet. It is more like a large space bomb. If you are not careful, it can cause the surrounding void to collapse for more than ten light hours and trigger a space storm.”

Liu Wen suggested: ”I suggest you make a few more plans first. You can try to open a wormhole, but it can only be used as a backup option. First, find a way to take control of the wormhole. This way, we can attack or defend, which is the most advantageous for us.”

”As for taking over a few star systems, don’t be in a hurry. It’s not time to expand yet. Just do a good job of gathering intelligence first.”

Although Michelle and Luo Shaohua were somewhat disappointed, Liu Wen did not completely reject their proposal and gave them the authority to mobilize the secondary biological army. The station deployed by the Intelligence Department in the void outside the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy can now be used with confidence.

After the two men disconnected their communication, they got together again to discuss where to start, and finally decided to do it simultaneously, with intelligence given priority. Each person would be responsible for one aspect, summoning alien civilizations that were willing to open up to the outside world, gathering troops and being ready to eat meat at any time. Even the transport fleet and mining engineering fleet began to gather in large numbers.

Outside the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy, in the only seven remaining stations of the intelligence department, the stored biological battleship embryos began to develop and grow. The intelligence personnel who stayed at the stations arranged everything and evacuated urgently. Regardless of whether the intelligent civilization had the ability to strike or not, it was no longer safe to stay here. The Void Zerg that attacked the intelligent civilization were also a deadly threat.

A few hours later, the biological warships of the three legions grew to the point where they had the initial ability to jump through space, but the cost was that the reserve energy within the station was exhausted.

The number of legions is far from the ten that Michelle and his team need, but the distance between galaxies is more than 200,000 light years, so it is too late to send a fleet to deliver energy at this time.

Therefore, in order to cultivate biological warships faster, the existing biological warships gathered together after collecting the biological embryos stored in the station and advanced into the galaxy, advancing against the firepower of the blockade network of the intelligent civilization all the way. After crossing the space blockade area, they turned around and jumped towards the detected target star.

They avoided the battle areas between the two sides and came to a star system on the edge of the galaxy. This star system had only two gas planets. Due to the lack of mineral resources, there were no intelligent factory facilities and it was in an undefended state.

The biological battleship carrying the biological embryo approaches the star, and after absorbing stellar energy to grow to its complete form, it infuses the embryo with a portion of biological energy to allow it to grow to the point where it can absorb stellar energy on its own. It then expels it and places it under the stellar light to absorb energy and grow on its own.

This method is an emergency troop explosion mode. Biological battleships can be quickly cultivated near any star and then put into battle, but biological battleships do not have the ability to produce embryos on their own. This is a limitation and also leaves more room for biological battleships to improve their own combat effectiveness.

Soon, the biological warships of the ten legions had been cultivated, and the biological detection spores in the warships had also been matured in large quantities. Although they could only be used for a few months, it was enough under the current circumstances. The follow-up intelligence departments were on the way and could completely fill the gap in vision.

A legion of biological warships received all the detection spores and a small number of detectors, adjusted their direction, and dispersed toward the interior of the galaxy, leaving detectors in each galaxy along the way.

The remaining nine legions turned around and headed towards the edge of the galaxy. When they encountered the blockade network of the intelligent civilization, they opened fire with all their might, relying on their numerical advantage to quickly destroy the blockade firepower of the intelligent civilization.

Under normal circumstances, the patrol fleet of the intelligent machines would have arrived to intercept by this time, but now that most of the forces are tied up by the Void Zerg, the biological fleet can clear these blockade fire points at will and create a passage for the next joint fleet.

After a large number of detectors were deployed, more information was transmitted back to the joint fleet, providing a deeper understanding of the scale of the war and changes in the situation between the two sides.

The origin of the Void Zerg is still unknown, but after statistics based on the information transmitted back by the detector, nearly a thousand Void Zerg queen nests have been discovered, and level seven combat forces can be seen everywhere, but no queen mother-level nest has ever been found. The existence of thousands of queens can only be the queen mother, but it has not been found or cannot be found in the area where the detector is located.

Hundreds of billions of Void Zerg are shuttling through the void, launching attacks on all star systems with intelligent machines. Both sides are in a state of total war. In the void, the intelligent machine fleets are fighting to the death with the Zerg. Not only is the void fighting in the star system, but large-scale ground wars are also taking place on various planets.

The metal wreckage of the battleship mixed with the biological wreckage of the Void Zerg floated freely in the void. Countless engineer bugs shuttled through the wreckage, gnawing on the corpses of the bugs that died in the battle, and then sent the stored materials and energy back to the mother nest for the queen bug to produce.

The battle between the two sides was a fight to the death. Neither side showed any sign of retreat, and all battles would not end until one side was completely destroyed.

After the biological battleship went deep into the core area of the galaxy, it even detected several damaged queen insect nests floating among the debris. The green corrosive blood of the insects reflected a faint light under the light of the stars.

”Why did they start the war? When did they start the war? The strongest fighter on the battlefield right now is only level seven. According to the performance of the previous intelligent machines, there shouldn’t be only this many ordinary high-level fighters. So where are the rest of its core fighters? Where are the high-level fighters of both sides fighting?”

Liu Wen’s head was full of question marks. Whether it was the intelligent machine civilization or the void Zerg, they were all enemies of mankind. They were species that had to be destroyed when encountered. There was no possibility of peaceful coexistence.

Therefore, no matter who occupies the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy, it is the same for Liu Wen. After the Zerg occupies it, the scale of the war may expand.

The waiting time is always very difficult. After a few days, the intelligence department’s reconnaissance fleet, under the escort of twenty legions of the joint fleet, finally arrived at the gap opened by the biological fleet. Without any hesitation, the reconnaissance fleet broke straight in.

The escort fleet stopped outside the galaxy and began to build a defense system on the spot. Space fortresses were built one after another, forming a series of firepower arrays with the void artillery.

After several days of investigation, the biological warship finally found the location of the wormhole of the joint fleet. Unfortunately, there were a large number of intelligent machine legions there. As soon as the biological warship approached, it was destroyed by firepower from nowhere and was unable to transmit back more information.

After the intelligence department’s reconnaissance ship arrived, it focused on investigating that area and discovered that the wormhole was located in the middle of three star systems. The Void Zerg were blocked far outside the star field by the intelligent machines and could not move forward. The intelligent machine civilization in the star field has gathered a large number of engineering ships and transport ships, carrying countless production equipment. This is an important basis for it to quickly recover its strength, but it is not yet known whether it is its only arrangement.
