Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 113 Pension, for eternity of mankind!Chapter 113 Pension, for eternity of mankind!

The main universe, the Shuzhong star field of the Shangxia Republic, and the independent living city cluster in the star sea.

Dozens of space stations and living cities are scattered around the central Star Sea Fortress, where live nearly one billion main universe people who have joined the Star Sea territory.

The two medical space stations with a diameter of eight kilometers are now brightly lit, and urgently recruited medical personnel are working around the clock.

In the urban cluster, small medical rescue ships and shuttles are constantly coming and going among the various space stations.

The little fox and the cat each sit in charge of a medical space station, supervising the stable operation of the medical system, and all affairs give way to the medical system.

”Report, there are not enough mind stabilization warehouses. The shortage is as high as 30,000 units.”

”If it’s not enough, go buy some or make some! Order it immediately from Wo’s Life, triple the speed, and have them deliver it as quickly as possible!”

”Report, an emergency has occurred in the No. 3 military space station. There is an outbreak of corrosive mental fluctuations. The rescue team has set out. Please dispatch mental shielding equipment to provide support.”

”Order the Star Marines’ elite special forces team to provide support immediately.”

”Report, a special situation has occurred at Medical Space Station No. 105. The commander of Star Fleet Sequence No. has been invaded by a dimension. His mental state has suddenly changed and he is transforming into a dimensional creature. The security personnel are unable to control him. We are requesting reinforcements from the Marines!”

”Order the Second Special Service Team to handle it.”

……

The little fox forced himself to suppress his nervousness and handled the complicated matters calmly, becoming a signing and stamping robot.

This sudden war caused a large number of casualties in the main universe. Among the hundreds of millions of military crew members, nearly one-fifth are now lying in the medical space stations alone, and millions have died directly from mental extinction. There is no time to rescue them.

Under the dimensional erosion, many personnel have mutated and are wantonly destroying and killing in the space station. With the blessing of high-dimensional energy characteristics, ordinary security personnel can’t even stop them, and several of them are sacrificed from time to time, resulting in the dispatch of marines to use high-powered weapons and equipment to kill them, causing the battle to destroy a large area and affect more crew members.

On the projection screen, countless data flowed rapidly. Several space stations were in a red state indicating serious danger. Most of the space stations were in a relatively dangerous orange state. The rest were in a generally dangerous yellow state. Only the core fortress area of the star sea was in a low-risk blue state.

After the Tianhe Division intercepted the high-level evil god and resisted the rule attacks and dimensional erosion launched by the evil god, the crew’s casualty rate suddenly stopped. Then, the crew members who were killed in the second world and returned to the main universe only suffered mental damage, and no longer suffered from dimensional erosion and mind assimilation.

After discovering this, the little fox and the cat both breathed a sigh of relief. This meant that the war in the second world had passed the fatal crisis. Although they didn’t know what the future would be like, at least it had stabilized now.

Mentally damaged crew members only need to recuperate for a period of time before they can return to the battle sequence, but those with spiritual damage may need to live under a spiritual detector for the rest of their lives. They may not even be able to practice spiritual power without protective detection, because this may very likely induce spiritual disease.

”Fox, has the boss’s situation stabilized? The information here shows that the number of pathological changes caused by the psychic shock has stopped. Only a small number of mental clones have been killed in battle, causing the mentally damaged crew members to exit the second world.” The cat had a bun on his head, and his two cat ears were flapping non-stop, and his tail was shaking like a windmill behind him.

The little fox is in a similar situation now, his mood is changing with the data, and the regional alert level is gradually decreasing, proving that the situation on the battlefield has indeed improved.

But when he saw the casualty statistics, he boasted again: ”Cat, our losses this time are too great. There are 350 million combat crew members in the main universe, and we have lost more than 60 million in such a short time. Among them, 40 million will never come back, and more than 10 million souls have been corroded and assimilated by the dimensional power and will never be able to return to their posts. The rest have also suffered some mental shock and need a long time to recover before they can return to their posts.”

”Nearly 120 million people have suffered normal combat casualties and mental damage. Nearly half of our crew members have been killed, which means that half of the Star Fleet must have been destroyed.”

”A lot of the Galaxy Fleet’s battle sequence has been offline, but Jack sent back information that all they encountered were conventional battles, and there were no super-specification enemies.” Maomao looked at the Galaxy Fleet’s statistical list and thought to himself that it was a good thing that at least one of the two fleets retained its complete structure, and subsequent reconstruction would be much easier.

With the casualties of crew members in the main universe reaching hundreds of millions, the casualties of the local crew members in the second world will only be more exaggerated. They do not have the filter of the main universe, and once they are affected, they will inevitably die.

”I hope the boss and the others are all right.” Maomao clasped his hands together and prayed to the gods and Buddhas that Liu Wen had once told them about.

The little fox asked, ”How is the boss’s landing capsule? Are there any problems affecting it?”

”No, Reina from the Marine Corps is personally leading people to guard it.” Maomao replied.

After confirming that everything was fine, the two discussed the arrangements for the casualties: ”Those who cannot return to the battle sequence, those with minor injuries will be transferred to logistics personnel, or engaged in civilian or management positions. Those who cannot work will continue to be treated by the medical department until they are safe and transferred to a sanatorium.”

”If someone does not want to continue serving and approves their retirement application, we must urge the Ministry of Finance to pay out the rewards they deserve. We will never allow anyone to tamper with this.”

”For soldiers who died in battle, it is most important to pay them pensions according to their contributions and positions. We must personally monitor this and pay it to their families truthfully. We cannot bring shame to the boss. Anyone who dares to mess around will be sent to a military court!”

It was rare for the little fox to be tough, and Maomao had no objection to this. After a brief discussion, Maomao went to arrange the relevant matters, first coming up with a suitable pension standard, and then adding various territory benefits to ensure that the relatives of the soldiers who died in battle would not have any problems.

”By the way, we have to contact the Logistics Support Department of the Human Rights Alliance. This battle was started by the emergency state initiated by the Human Rights Alliance. They also have the identity of soldiers of the 1002nd Non-staff Army under the command of the th Operations Department of the Human Rights Alliance. They should not receive less compensation!” Maomao suddenly remembered that these soldiers who died in the battle did not only have the status of active soldiers of the Star Sea Territory. They were still soldiers of the Human Rights Alliance when they died in battle. Although they were a non-staff army urgently recruited, they still received pensions.

Soon, the regulations for soldiers’ pensions were formulated, and when they were handed to the little foxes, there were three compensations.

Death Pension for People’s United Army Soldiers: This is a one-time financial compensation given to the families of fallen soldiers. The specific amount depends on factors such as the soldier’s position, rank, length of service, meritorious service, etc. The death pension for ordinary soldiers is usually around 3 million credit points, while the pension for officers is relatively higher.

Funeral expenses: used to subsidize the families of fallen soldiers to deal with funeral expenses, approximately 50,000 credit points.

Alimony: This is long-term financial compensation to ensure the living and education needs of the family members of the fallen soldier. The amount is calculated based on the soldier’s income and family situation, and generally ranges from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of credit points.

Other compensation: may include living allowances and education subsidies for minor children. Families of soldiers who died in the line of duty can also enjoy relevant preferential policies of the state.

One-time pension: For martyrs or soldiers who died in the line of duty, the pension standard is 20 times the average per capita disposable income of citizens of the Human Kingdom under the Human Rights Union in the previous year plus the basic salary or basic retirement allowance for the last 40 months of the soldier’s life. If a soldier receives an honorary title or makes meritorious service, an additional pension will be issued in proportion. If a soldier or his family members have received an honorary title or made meritorious service, a certain proportion of the one-time pension will be issued according to different levels of honor or meritorious service.

The specific increase ratios include: those who are awarded honorary titles by the Supreme Command of the People’s Federation will receive an increase of 35%; those who are awarded honorary titles by military district-level units will receive an increase of 30%; those who have made first-class merit will receive an increase of 25%; those who have made second-class merit will receive an increase of 15%; and those who have made third-class merit will receive an increase of 5%.12

If a soldier receives multiple honorary titles or makes meritorious contributions, his or her family can receive a one-time additional pension in proportion to the highest level of the award.”

The little fox looked at the pension payment plan and said, ”We inherited the system of the Human Union. We can adjust the amount of payment appropriately according to the situation of the territory.”

”The plan now proposed by the People’s Federation is to pay all relevant pensions and family welfare benefits to non-staff soldiers. In addition, since many crew members’ families are still in the Shangxia Republic, although the Shangxia Republic does not provide pensions, it also provides welfare benefits to the families of the deceased crew members, including employment, schooling, immigration, etc.”

”The calculation method of Renlian is that the monthly income is 10,000 credit points, which means the basic payment is 2.8 million credit points, plus maintenance, funeral expenses, children’s schooling, living expenses, etc., a total of 4.5 million credit points.”

“I won’t talk about the welfare benefits of the Shangxia Republic. They are just benefits, and there is no clear financial compensation.”

Maomao asked: ”What about our pension standard?”

The little fox replied: ”We inherited the Renlian standard, but I asked them to raise it a bit, and also exchanged half of the amount for contribution points according to the official exchange rate of the Renlian.”

”The basic salary of ordinary soldiers in our territory is 40 contribution points per month, which can be converted into 18,000 credit points. I have increased the conversion rate to 450 credit points according to the boss’ instructions before.”

”The total amount is 11,200 contribution points, plus maintenance fees, military merit bonuses, children’s schooling fees, etc., a total of 15,500 contribution points, half of which is settled in credit points, which means the basic pension is 7,750 contribution points plus 3,487,500 credit points.”

”The current death toll exceeds 160 million, and the total expenditure exceeds 3 trillion contribution points. We are almost bankrupt, cat!”

Maomao’s heart trembled when he heard the last number. Three trillion contribution points! This was the cash flow of expenditure. Even though a level six technological battleship could be sold for hundreds of millions of contribution points, apart from the cost, it would take the sale of battleships from more than a dozen legions to earn back this money. If the Human Union did not give compensation, the territory would probably have to live on debt for a long time.

And this only includes the current pension payments that need to be made, as well as other expenses such as compensation for the wounded, medical treatment, and convalescence.

The reconstruction of the fleet is the biggest expense, including the recruitment and training of new crew members, and the unknown possibility that the territory will be affected and destroyed by the war. The expenses are dozens of times the pension.

Thinking of this, the little fox and the other two quickly pulled up the financial report of the territory and started to read it. When they saw the cash flow of the territory, they really wanted to cry: ”Should we borrow from Renlian or from Shangxia Republic?”

Although the Xinghai Territory has been making money since its establishment, its arms trade is booming and it also exports various daily necessities. After the establishment of the United Fleet and the emergence of the trade zone, it has made even more money.

However, a large part of the funds were converted by Liu Wen into resources and hoarded for use in the two industrial zones. The cash flow was not abundant. In addition, the long-term immigration work also cost a lot of cash, resulting in only less than 10 trillion contribution points on the books of the Xinghai Territory. Various high-value resources were worth hundreds of trillions of contribution points, but you can’t give high-energy alloys as pensions to the families of soldiers who died in battle, right?
”Don’t be in a hurry. Wait until this stage of the battle is over and then ask the boss for his opinion.” Maomao still felt that it would be better to ask. Maybe the boss would have a better solution.

The two of them temporarily put aside the loan application and continued to deal with the affairs of the main universe, waiting for the end of the stage battle.

In the second world, the number of dimensional evil gods rushing to the battlefield continued to increase, and the entire pioneering star field was beaten almost without any chance to fight back. Liu Wen still had the Tianhe unit to resist the dimensional evil gods, but the non-staff group armies in other areas were not so lucky.

The massive influx of rule-level forces caused serious damage to the troops, and the 12th Operations Department had to send the extra-staff army group in the rear as a reserve to the front line for reinforcement.

At the same time, the regular forces of the Human Alliance also joined the battle one after another, offsetting the evil god’s rule-level attacks through equipment, and tried their best to delay the offensive of the dimensional evil god against the Human Alliance’s defense line, dragging them into the open star field.

The advance battalion of the 12th Operations Department, the Special Service Department and other high-level combat forces were dispatched to various star regions to cooperate with the local non-staff army to resist the dimensional evil god.

Through a series of military mobilizations, the front line was gradually stabilized. However, except for Area B, the front lines in other areas were retreated tens of thousands of light years. A large amount of developed territory was lost, and hundreds of millions of humans were killed or missing.

At the Combined Fleet headquarters, Liu Wen, Yang Zhenshan, and Xu Zemin stood together, looking at the intelligence information sent by the Operations Department.

In the void outside the open star field, the dark fleet blocked the light of the stars, and warships of various shapes shuttled back and forth among the alien fleets in various star fields.

These fleets are joint fleets formed by the enemies of various human civilizations such as the Deke civilization. They are currently deployed in the void and may invade and develop the star field at any time. A real full-scale war is about to begin.

The saints supporting the 12th Operations Department are currently confronting hostile saints in the dimensional space. It is unknown whether a fight will break out and what the outcome will be.

”These alien civilizations want to take advantage of the offensive of the dimensional evil god to consume our human military power. It’s really a fantasy.” Yang Zhenshan sneered at the plans of those enemies he was familiar with. Let alone one dimensional space, even if there were two more, they would not be able to break through the human defense line.

”The Human Union’s defense line must be solid, but we are here to explore the star field. Even with the support of Tianhe’s unit, the huge alien force is still a fatal threat to us. What’s more, we still have a group of crazy people like the Dimensional Evil God who are consuming our military strength.” Xu Zemin said worriedly. He believed in the strength of the Human Union, but this was outside the Human Union’s defense line after all, and they would be the first to face these enemies.

The current statistics show that the number of dimensional evil gods has exceeded tens of millions, and the number of low- and middle-level dimensional creatures is in the hundreds of millions. They are also appearing in the developed star fields in various ways and launching attacks on human overlords.

More than half of the troops of dozens of army groups have been lost in less than a day, and a large number of lord fleets have been destroyed. If it weren’t for the quick support of the high-level combat forces of the Operations Department, these dimensional lunatics would have already reached the human joint defense line.

Liu Wen was also very upset. The loss of warships far exceeded the replacements. Warships could be built, but qualified crew members needed sufficient time to train. After all, the biological fleet could not compare with the technological warships of the same level and could not replace the role of technological warships on the battlefield.

”I know you are all very scared now. I am also afraid of death, but if we don’t dare to face the upcoming enemy, who else can you expect to resist? The Human Union has its own responsibilities. You are the pioneer lords. Is it realistic to expect the Human Union to help you solve your problems?”

Yang Zhenshan said to the two of them: ”No matter what, we need to fulfill our obligations as human soldiers. Even if we die on the battlefield, it is a worthy death. Everything is for the eternity of mankind!”

Liu Wen and Xu Zemin looked at each other and said, ”For the eternity of mankind!”
