Star Lord: Rob the alien race and you will get a hundred times the reward

Chapter 107: Regiment CommanderChapter 107: Regiment Commander
”This is the highest command center of the 12th Operations Department of the 6th War Zone of the People’s Alliance. I am the commander of the 12th Operations Department, General Chen Guanyi.”

”Now, on behalf of the Human Union, I issue a Level 1 combat readiness order. According to the Human Union War Act, I now order the recruitment of all human fleets. For detailed combat orders, please connect to the 12th Operations Department command channel...”

”Fuck!” Liu Wen, who had just come back to his senses from the virtual world created by the Human Union, slammed the table. Before he could curse out loud, the combat deployment and orders from the Operations Department were issued.

”Open up the star field B area. The human fleets from the 1001st to the 1002th star systems will be organized into the st extra-staff army group. The st to the th star systems will be organized into the nd extra-staff army group...”

”I now appoint Xinghai Lord Liu Wen as the commander of the 1002nd Army Group, Canghai Lord Xu Zemin as the chief of staff, and Dihuang Lord Dihuang as the supreme commander of the 10021st Army. I hereby appoint...”

”Appoint Yang Zhenshan, deputy commander of the advance battalion, as the non-staff 1002nd Army Military Police Commander, in charge of the army’s military laws and regulations!”

”For those who have doubts about the appeal, please submit an application for reconsideration to the 12th Operations Department’s Supreme Command Center within 30 seconds. If there is no doubt, the order will be officially established in 30 seconds. All combatants shall not refuse to comply with the provisions of the Human Union Military Act for any reason. Those who violate the law will be deprived of all lord rights, all political rights, and all human citizen rights, and will be escorted to the Human Union Supreme Military Court for trial. Those who resist arrest can be killed on the spot!”

……

“No matter how the times change, the flame of humanity will last forever! I wish you all good luck in fighting!”

The series of acceptance of fate seemed very long, but in fact only took less than a minute. The virtual world has the ability to accelerate the speed of information processing and thus speed up the flow of time in disguise, up to thirty times. This is not a technology unique to the Human Union, but only the Human Union can synchronize information over a star field covering millions of light years.

Yang Zhenshan was a little confused when he received the order. What was going on? He became the commander of the gendarmerie. He just came here to guard against the high-level combat power of the intelligent machines. He couldn’t go back now!
”Commander Liu, I look forward to your guidance for a long time to come!” Yang Zhenshan said to Liu Wen with a donkey face.

Liu Wen now feels that the 12th Operations Department must be preparing to do something strange, otherwise why would other army groups appoint local lords to various positions, but when it comes to him, he has to keep Yang Zhenshan and his group of soldiers from the advance battalion. All the level 7 combat forces of the 20-odd advance battalions have been incorporated into the military police by the Operations Department. What’s going on? How afraid are they that he will quit and run away?
”Commander Yang, I should ask you to show some mercy! When enforcing military law, please be more restrained and don’t kill them all. At least leave some men to fight on the battlefield.”

While Liu Wen was talking nonsense, he mentally connected to the Human Union Command Channel, where all sub-channels for related deployments had already been established.

After a careful look, I found that the Sixth War Zone of the People’s Alliance has 19 direct command channels, and the 12th Operations Department has five direct command channels, namely the Special Operations Department, the 12th Front Army, the 12th Extra-organizational Front Army, the 12th Division Intelligence Department, and the 12th Logistics Support Department.

The lords were on the command channel of the 1002nd Army Group under the th Extra-staff Front. Liu Wen took a look and saw that the Extra-staff Front had a total of more than sub-channels, which meant that there were more than army groups.

According to the lineup of Zone B, the 1001st Army Group has a total of more than lords and more than fully-staffed legions.

Liu Wen’s 1002nd Army Group has more than one hundred and fifty lords, and its territory is much wider than that of the 1001st Army Group. Excluding alien forces, the human force is still more than nine hundred full-strength legions. Among them, many territories have not expanded the army on a large scale because it is too expensive to maintain an army!
Based on the comprehensive calculation of the strength of the two army groups, the total strength of the 360 army groups is approximately 250,000 fully-staffed legions and more than 3 billion warships!

Just thinking about this huge number made Liu Wen feel his scalp tingling. The current number is still the number when the lords of various places did not increase their military strength. As time goes by, as long as the state of combat readiness is not revoked and the military expenditures paid by the Human Federation to the lords are issued on time, the lords will inevitably continue to expand their fleets on a large scale.

Using the money from the Human Union to build his own fleet is something every lord will do. After the warships are built, they will inevitably join the battle sequence. But as long as the war is over, the troops owned by the surviving lords will swell. It’s okay if the territory cannot maintain such a large fleet. Just cut some personnel and seal the warships. They only need some maintenance costs to maintain for a long time. Once there is an urgent need to expand the fleet, it will naturally be much faster to directly activate these sealed warships than to build them now.

Without thinking, Liu Wen entered the virtual command room of the 1002nd Army’s virtual command channel. The hemispherical command room had a diameter of more than meters, with more than stacked posts. In the middle was a suspended command platform, and Liu Wen appeared here.

As soon as Liu Wen entered, Chief of the General Staff Lord Canghai Xu Zemin, Commander of the 10021st Army Lord Dihuang, Military Police Commander Yang Zhenshan and others arrived, and the command desk was transformed into a small conference room.

Dozens of people came to the conference room, including twenty army commanders, twenty chiefs of staff, the director of logistics, the director of intelligence and other personnel from various departments. Liu Wen actually didn’t recognize many of them.

”Everyone, I won’t waste any more time. I’m sure you all know me even if you haven’t seen me. Since I can stand here, it means that you all have no doubts about my acceptance of my fate.”

Liu Wen put his hands on the conference table and said, ”Everyone is aware of the orders of the Operations Department. This war is likely to be very cruel. You can retrieve the relevant detailed information from the Intelligence Department according to your authority. I will not explain it in detail.”

”The task now is for each department to immediately send personnel to get the command center up and running. The heads of each department will set up their own departments, and the commanders of each army will gather their fleets and go to the Combined Fleet Headquarters to wait for orders.”

”Yes!” Everyone stood at attention and saluted. Before leaving, they looked curiously at the military police commander Yang Zhenshan on Liu Wen’s left, the only person directly under the combat department in this non-staff group army.

Chief of General Staff Xu Zemin did not leave, but turned to ask Liu Wen: ”Commander Liu, how about we first transfer the personnel of the command center from our two territories, and then slowly draw capable people from the lords to replace them in the future?”

Liu Wen smiled and nodded in agreement: ”Let’s follow General Xu’s plan.”

The two sides didn’t say anything more, and they just transferred out the posts and started filling them with people.

Liu Wen directly transferred all the original personnel of the Galaxy Fleet over, and the remaining positions were filled by people from Xu Zemin’s territory. After all the personnel were in place, the job assignments were approved by the Human Union Operations Department, and the command center was connected to the database of the 12th Operations Department, and the corresponding control authority was also issued to individuals.

All of them have served in the fleet for a long time, and there is no problem of being unfamiliar with their respective positions and not knowing what to do. At most, they are still relatively unfamiliar with the new contact, and there are some problems in the coordination between the two sides.

After a brief adaptation, Xu Zemin also started working with the newly formed staff and began to plan and integrate the tasks of the 1002nd Army based on the information provided by the database of the th Intelligence Department.

Liu Wen also received a task from the Operations Department at this time: ”Control the joint fleet, increase the number of combat troops, and investigate the abnormal movements of the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy.”

After re-examining the authority and requirements of the non-staff army and making sure there were no problems, he issued an order to expand the army to all lords through the commander’s authority, and reminded the people in the territory to prepare for evacuation. However, as long as the war did not affect the territory, the lord was absolutely not allowed to retreat!
The lords who received the order, those with the ability to manufacture armaments, naturally started production at full capacity and recruited soldiers on a large scale. Those without the ability to produce could only watch, and at this time, even if you wanted to buy warships, there was nowhere to buy them.

On the dozen stars controlled by the Star Sea Territory, one kilometer in diameter breeding chambers were opened. The internal embryo bank injected biological embryos and nutrient solution into the densely packed biological breeding equipment on the periphery. The embryos began to grow at a speed visible to the naked eye, gradually growing into the shape of biological battleships.

When the biological battleship grew to about ten meters, the nutrient solution was exhausted, and then the hatch opened. The biological battleship woke up and followed the channel into the void, absorbing stellar energy and continuing to grow under the shining of the stars.

After the biological battleship leaves the incubation chamber, the hatch is closed, and the internal embryo bank injects another biological battleship embryo and nutrient solution into the incubation chamber, and a new round of cultivation begins.

There is such a culture chamber every 800 kilometers in the star orbit, and there is a star energy extraction and conversion device with a diameter of five kilometers every 10,000 kilometers. The energy inside the star is extracted through the device and converted into nutrient solution for cultivating biological warships or into antimatter.

In the orbits of more than a dozen stars, biological warships appeared one after another, consuming a large amount of light and heat released by the stars, causing the light emitted by the stars to begin to weaken, and the light in the star system continued to decline.

In just three days, the 1002nd Army Group had been integrated, and under the integration of their respective army commanders, the twenty armies had initially reached the standard combat effectiveness of the People’s Liberation Army.

Within the United Fleet, after huge changes occurred in the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy, many alien civilizations that realized that something was wrong began to pack up and prepare to flee. For this reason, Liu Wen had no choice but to keep them. After the human fleet gradually arrived at the headquarters star field of the United Fleet and faced the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy together with the United Fleet, the situation was temporarily stabilized under the joint operations he proposed.

At the Joint Fleet Representative Conference, Liu Wen said to the alien representatives in the audience: ”I know you want to escape from here, but where can you escape to? You have no resources, no territory, where can you escape to in a war that affects millions of light years?”

”The only way is to unite and resist together as before. Only in this way can the combined fleet have the strength to fight. If the combined fleet cannot resist the enemy’s attack, then how much damage can your respective civilizations cause to the enemy with their limited military strength?”

”Did you see that? The fleets next to you are all made up of our human lords’ fleets. We didn’t let you fight alone. We also invested all our forces to fight for a chance of survival. In addition, in my territory, there are nearly two thousand biological legions being cultivated, and they will soon join the battle sequence.”

”The total strength of all our fleets combined exceeds five thousand legions. With such a force, even if a fully-powered Omnic comes into battle with us, we will still be the winner in the end!”

”Do you see that nebula? That’s the resource we dug up with great effort. It took so much manpower and resources to transport it back. Now we just walk away. Isn’t that a waste of effort?”

”Believe me, I was able to lead you to victory before, and I can still do it now!”

”Go transport those resources back to your territory and start the factories to build warships and armaments.”

”No matter who the enemy is, no matter how powerful they are, as long as we unite and don’t give up hope, they will never be able to defeat us!”

”The people of the starry sky can only earn a piece of pure land by fighting to the death!”

”Fight! Fight to the death!”

……

The representatives of the alien races were very excited and cooperated with Liu Wen’s performance to the end. As for how their own civilization would decide, Liu Wen could only mobilize their pro-war sentiment by letting Yang Zhenshan’s advance battalion team stroll around and perform the unique skills of the seventh-level combat power from time to time.

The Combined Fleet expanded greatly because the human fleet withdrew and joined the 1002nd Army’s combat sequence. The vacant space was filled by the subsequent fleet and increased to legions, divided into three combat units, under the unified command of Luo Shaohua. As for Michelle, he was pulled to the command center by Liu Wen to act as his think tank and give him advice.

Bai Haitang was taken away by Jack and headed to the 101 galaxy. The vacancy in the Galaxy Fleet was filled by the Void Butterfly Biological Corps. Since the Human Union activated the first-level combat readiness, in order to avoid being caught, they had to abandon the nearest route and detour through the void between galaxies. This would take at least five times longer. Liu Wen even felt that they might not be able to arrive even after the battle was over. There was no route in the galaxy void and it was very dangerous. It was still a question how many troops of the twenty legions would be left by then.

After a few days, the dimensional space above the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy became clearer and clearer, and the battle inside could still be observed through conventional means. The brutal fighting was still going on, and among the human figures in the sky, there were many large-scale battleship-like man-made objects.

The Void Zerg in the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy are also gathering and retreating on a large scale. The dimensional space is moving closer to the galaxy, and it is very likely that the coordinates of their location are the Tuomu Thunder Galaxy. When the dimensional space and the galaxy overlap and the two sides collide with each other, all existences below level seven in the galaxy will turn into gorgeous fireworks and die peacefully!

Half a month later, all necessary preparations had been completed. In each territory, a large number of defense facilities had increased several times. The total number of biological legions produced by the Star Sea Territory had reached 3,300 legions, and were still being cultivated on a large scale. More than a dozen stars had become dimmer due to the large-scale and continuous extraction of energy.

The Tuomu Thunder Galaxy and the dimensional space have almost overlapped with each other. The aftermath of the battle in the dimensional space has been able to interfere with the void. The spatial energy fluctuations generated when the dimensional space is integrated are transmitted tens of thousands of light years away, but the chaotic scene inside can never be fully observed.

The Human Union dispatched a high-level exploration team. The reconnaissance team composed of more than a dozen psychic warships conducted explorations around the dimensional space. During the period, they encountered the reconnaissance team of the Void Zerg and many reconnaissance forces from various forces. They just greeted each other and then left.

Just as everyone was anxiously waiting for the war to come, the dimensional space finally descended into the void completely. The space obstacle avoidance and void power merged, and a unique secondary space wall was formed by the mixture of dimensional energy and space energy.

The energy tide generated by the space fusion swept across the void for dozens of light years, and the void was filled with dense space cracks like broken glass. The surging space energy had no time to flow into the void before it was eroded back by the dimensional energy of the dimensional space.

When the various forces fighting in the dimensional space fight, the energy impact generated by the confrontation can easily create huge holes in the space barriers. As a result, the dimensional energy leaks out and erodes the void, converting the void energy into dimensional energy.

When seeing this scene, Liu Wen’s heart finally settled down. Let him fight. It was the most painful when waiting for death to come. When this moment really came, he felt no burden in his heart.
