The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2230: Finishing with the Abyssalcrown Empyrean World

”Why do they exert so much effort to weaken the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe?” The question echoed in Cain’s mind, deeper and heavier than any wound he had received.

He could not help but feel that answer would hold an immense and far-reaching meaning—perhaps a truth capable of reshaping the path ahead. Yet no matter how much he wished to unravel that mystery, now was not the time. Other matters pressed upon him, urgent and unforgiving.

Resurrección deactivated the next second, and an overwhelming wave of exhaustion washed over Cain’s body and soul.

He had grown powerful—so powerful that the backlash of Resurrección no longer crippled him outright as it once did—but even so, he had burned his life force, his soul force, and his ego during this confrontation.

That sacrifice was the reason he had managed to defeat Draco even after the Lord of the Tenth Empyrean Sun World interfered. But every victory had a cost, and now he had to pay it.

Fortunately, Cain had already devised a way to handle the backlash.

Before anything else, he extended his senses into the Abyssalcrown Empyrean World to inspect the ArchDeity-level battlefield. The sight brought a calm, decisive clarity to his thoughts. His forces had taken overwhelming control of the battlefield. There was no longer any need for concern; the momentum of conquest was already theirs.

With a slight wave of his hand, a flame of forty-one colors emerged before him. Over the past months, Cain had done far more than simply consume enemies—he had been testing and refining his Tribulation Enhancement abilities, sharpening them to perfection. Now, at last, he was ready to perform a Middle ArchDeity-tier refinement on both his body and ego.

He began with his physical form.

The multicolored flames surged into him, flooding every fiber of flesh and blood. The amount of world energy drawn in was so massive it could have easily drowned a small world. The void around him glowed for countless kilometers as the refinement continued.

Cain concentrated to the absolute limit, ensuring the world energy revolved through him in endless cycles. With each revolution, the energy fused more deeply into his cells—strengthening the resilient ones and burning away the weak.

Each rotation enhanced his potential and talent, while simultaneously erasing the wounds and internal damage accumulated during the past months. Bit by bit the tension that had been coiled inside him since the start of his campaign unraveled.

It took several hours before the final threads of world energy merged into his body. When he finally opened his eyes, a sense of profound comfort and bliss washed over him. Every injury vanished, every strain dissolved, and he felt stronger than ever.

He glanced once more toward the Abyssalcrown Empyrean World. What he saw made the thrill in his gaze intensify. Half of the ArchDeities belonging to the Abyssal Royal Clan had already fallen—devoured, their souls now bound to the Scarlet Throne.

The survivors had been cornered, surrounded on all sides, with no escape routes remaining. Their era of dominance had ended. Those who once stood at the peak of their world—who killed, plundered, and shattered countless lives and generations—were now prey. And there was nothing they could do to change their fate.

Cain showed them no pity. No mercy.

He summoned another forty-one-colored sphere and sent it into his Soul Dimension, allowing it to flood the Primarch of Conquest Leviathan. Spiritual Tribulation Enhancement was far more complicated than bodily refinement; there were deeper layers of structure, resistance, and instability, but Cain was prepared.

World energy engulfed the Primarch Alter-Ego. Every second brought an ocean’s worth of power surging through Leviathan, and every second Cain pushed his concentration to its limit to ensure the refinement proceeded smoothly.

The process was brutally difficult, and there were several moments where the entire enhancement seemed on the verge of spiraling out of control.

Luckily, he had an absolute safeguard—the Enhancement Module. If the situation truly became critical, he could activate it and enforce flawless success.

That assurance allowed him to maintain the calm necessary to handle the intricate flows of power, guiding them with absolute precision. He pressed forward without pause or hesitation until, finally, the Forty-One Revolutions Refinement reached completion.

Cain’s eyes glowed with a wondrous light and a slow, confident smile spread across his face. His power had risen once more. Energy coursed through him with greater speed and density. His understanding of Laws and Concepts deepened, his mind sharpened.

It was not a transcendent leap, just a Middle ArchDeity-tier enhancement, but it was still more than enough to make him certain he could withstand a High Lord of the Root on his own and survive, at least as long as the battle occurred within the Universe Matrix, where the influence of the Root was naturally weakened.

When he shifted his perception toward the Abyssalcrown Empyrean World one final time, Cain saw that the ArchDeities of the Royal Clan were gone—every last one of them. His forces, led by Leondas and the others, were bursting with newfound power. They had achieved victory not through chance but through complete domination: defeating their opponents, devouring their strength, and rising to a new height.

Cain teleported into the world a moment later. The ArchDeities turned toward him instantly, and wide smiles appeared on their faces. They had crossed into an entirely new world, conquered its peak, slain its rulers, and used the remains to fuel their own ascension—and all of it had been possible because of the king standing before them.

”Let’s collect anything of value in this continent and the ones around it,” Cain said. ”There is immense wealth here, and we will use it.”

By consuming the ArchDeities of the Abyssal Royal Clan, the group had gained access to their memories—and thus every treasure, resource, vault, and artifact scattered across the surrounding lands. Their smiles widened even further as they set about their task, sweeping across the continent like an unstoppable tide, harvesting every scrap of wealth and power they could find.
